I have nearly finished the level 3 PT course. I have enjoyed every moment of it and have learned a serious amount. David and Sofia have been very supportive mentors and teachers. We are provided with many resource to help on our future PT journeys. I recommend them 💯.

David was our tutor twice a week through online sessions and live video calls. His teaching style was clear, structured, and incredibly informative. He made complex topics easy to understand and always ensured that every student was keeping up with the material. His professionalism, knowledge, and ability to communicate effectively made the online learning experience engaging and productive.

Sofia was our face-to-face instructor in the gym, and her practical teaching was outstanding. She is calm, patient, and extremely supportive. Whenever I found something difficult, she took the time to explain it again without hesitation. Her hands-on guidance gave me confidence in applying my knowledge in real gym situations. She created a positive and motivating learning environment that truly helped me grow.

I had a really positive experience on the PT course. David and Sophia were both extremely knowledgeable, professional and supportive throughout. Their teaching style was clear, structured and easy to follow, which made even the more complex topics much easier to understand.
They took the time to answer questions in detail, offered practical examples, and made sure everyone felt confident before moving on. The balance between theory and practical learning was excellent, and I felt genuinely supported in developing both my knowledge and confidence as a future personal trainer.
Their encouragement, patience and expertise created a motivating learning environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and pushing myself to improve. They are a real credit to the course and clearly passionate about helping students succeed.

In response to your reply, at no point have I stated I am a learner, I am yet to get to that point. However, won’t be as all correspondence and communication around what you offer has been AI generated with the mistake of leaving in the generic AI end of text comments “ If you’d like, I can also tailor this into a shorter version for marketing or email use.” When I have seeked clarity as to wether or not there is a human at the end of the AI generated messages, I got no response.

I’ve had a great experience with my PT mentor Sam deeley. He’s incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely cares about your progress. He explains everything clearly and makes sure you understand the why behind the training. Sam always is happy to answer questions and provide extra help. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive mentor.

High quality training materials, very competent support and my personal tutor, Sofia, was very professional. She responded to all my queries throughout my studies in a timely and courteous manner and conducted my assessment very well.

They're basically a SCAM. I paid £1000 for three courses in March 2025, and I finished all the course workbooks by July 2025, but they're still marking my first course workbook (the Level 2 Gym instructor workbook). They take ages to mark the courses, and the markers clearly just skim through the answers, providing generic comments. You need 100% to pass each course, so there will be loads of back and forth. Even though I only had two multiple-choice questions wrong and one written answer incorrect, it's been over six months of back-and-forth email discussions, and I haven't even had my first course workbook marked. Unfortunately, I paid them upfront. If you need your courses done any time soon, avoid PT Academy courses: the markers take forever to do anything and don't care. You'll get quick responses to emails or calls, but the marking will take forever.

Pros
• Sam (my mentor) has been very supportive throughout my time with PT Academy — helpful, approachable, and generally quick to respond when guidance or clarification was needed. That support has been a big positive for me.
• The pricing of the qualifications is very competitive compared to other providers, and there’s clear value for money in choosing PT Academy.
Constructive feedback (PT Academy platform, not tutor-related)
• The learning platform and delivery feel quite outdated compared to modern online education standards. A lot of the process relies on emails, PDFs, and multiple external links (OneDrive, video links, etc.), which can make things harder to track and less intuitive.
• From a learner’s perspective — especially someone with ADHD — the experience could be significantly improved with a more centralised, modern learning platform where content, videos, submissions, and feedback all live in one place.
• I’ve completed several online qualifications over the past decade, and many used more streamlined digital systems that made learning more engaging and easier to manage.

I had an extremely poor experience with this personal trainer academy. From the very beginning, everything seemed professional and responsive—at least until the moment you make the payment. Once you submit your completed workbook, you can wait weeks for a reply. The questions are not reviewed by real professionals, and even when you respond exactly to the assessors’ requirements, you receive feedback on the same question as if your answer had never been read. It is clear that the process is not handled with any attention or competence.
When you try to discuss these issues with someone from the administration, they simply tell you to send an email. You send the email, and then you are redirected to another email address. The entire system feels like a scam—no professionals, no clear information, no proper explanation of the process. I absolutely do not recommend this academy, and I will make sure others are aware of the poor experience I had, especially because I initially trusted them.
I want to highlight that I am a former military professional who genuinely wanted to obtain a qualified personal trainer certificate in this country. I value my personal development and my qualifications, and I truly believed I had found a credible school. Unfortunately, it is not.
