I Would like to start of with what an amazing opportunity given I’m very greatfull thank you.The overall experience was very good. The service was professional, efficient, and well-organised. Everyone was helpful, approachable, and responsive throughout the process. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail and the willingness to address questions and concerns promptly. My coach/teacher Rian was very helpful and understanding wouldn’t of been able to do this without him amazing teacher.

I had a fantastic experience studying with PT Academy and I honestly can’t thank my tutor Rian enough. The level of support I received throughout my course was immense. Rian really took the time to explain things properly, answer my questions and make sure I understood the work rather than just rushing through it.
His patience, encouragement and support made such a difference to my learning experience. I always felt supported and able to ask for help whenever I needed it. It’s clear that Rian genuinely cares about his students and wants them all to succeed.

Very disappointing communication with…
Very disappointing communication with existing students
I’m extremely disappointed with the level of communication from PT Academy.
I have already paid for my course and I am now actively trying to return to my studies, complete my outstanding work and assessments, and obtain my qualification. I have emailed PT Academy asking a straightforward question about my existing course access and what I need to do to continue, but I have received no response.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that when I contacted David directly, he responded almost immediately and was helpful. So my issue is not with the tutors themselves — it is with the lack of response from PT Academy’s main customer/student support.
As an existing student who has already paid for the course, I don’t think I should have to chase repeatedly just to find out how I can continue and complete my qualification.
I’m ready and motivated to finish my course. I simply need PT Academy to actually respond and tell me what I need to do.
I will happily update this review if the situation is resolved and I receive the support I need.

My Mentor is Ace, PT Academy is ok
Firstly, with regards to my mentor, Ryan, I would give 5 stars. He is always on hand to give me extra advice or pointers if I need them. He is clear and concise about what the course needs from me to achieve my qualification, and has given me resources for further study if I feel I have not understood or not been able to absorb anything.
PT academy are largely good if you are a neurotypical student looking to do an online course. As someone currently going through AuDHD diagnoses, I believe that they could do better. Often there is reams of text, the videos are often just powerpoints with AI voices, there are multiple grammatical and spelling errors throughout, and mismatched text-to-voice errors, which is overwhelming and confusing. They no longer have a manual for study that can be printed off or a hard copy to be ordered, so going back through information is again overwhelming and unhelpful. They expect my mentor to take that responsibility, which I feel is unfair.
Ryan is brilliant. PT Academy could do better for SEN students.

Outstanding experience on the funded L3 PT Diploma
Completed my Level 3 PT diploma with PT Academy via the funded London scheme in January 2026. This was an amazing opportunity and a really outstanding experience. The course delivery was slick and both online and in-person teaching was really high quality. The admin team were very efficient and responsive, and certificates were issued from the awarding body very promptly once the course finished (within 2 weeks).
The instructors were top quality - Sofia delivered excellent in person teaching on the gym floor and David's online sessions were really outstanding. As a tutor David is super knowledgeable and really goes the extra mile to help students succeed, not only teaching the core curriculum but also sharing his years of invaluable fitness-industry expertise, to ensure students are set up for business success when they graduate.
Having completed this course 6 months ago, I'm pleased to say I now run my own successful PT business in London - which has frankly completely transformed my life. To put it simply, without this funded course I would still be living on benefits; more places on these funded courses will change more lives for the better!
