the shelving unit arrived damage - holes in the box and with foot prints on the box as well - who ever your delivery agent is they need to be made aware of how unprofessional it is to deliver items in this state

One of the worst customer experiences of recent. Ordered 3 products, informed Sales email of weight and size restrictions in hamlet. Told by the Head of Sales (HOS), that DX the delivery company would ensure it was considered. Nope, giant pallet truck arrives with no notice or call. Driver already angry as he’d had to navigate the hamlet, then makes threat to my safety, witnessed by 4 other people. Drops pallet off truck. I call HOS and explain I’ve just been threatened. He says he’ll act on it and call me back. I ask him to wait 15 mins so the driver can depart. Hear nothing further. Chase response. HOS doesn’t call, emails saying ‘goods delivered, if any issue with DX staff take it up with them’. Now he’s changed to taking no responsibility or having any empathy. Reply back pointing out that my contract is with Racking Solutions, theirs with the delivery company so it is in fact their matter to address. No reply. Ignored by HOS from this point. Tried ringing. No call back. Asked to speak to senior manager, told that it was the General Manager (GM) and that he would ring me back in 5 minutes. No call. Now unpacked items and found of the three items… broken parts, missing parts and dented parts. Wrote to Sales email with evidence. Customer Service Advisor replied. Called her to ensure DX would not be delivering further items. Had this confirmed. Told replacement items would be delivered. Guess who delivered, DX but luckily a different driver who was professional. Box and items arrived this time clearly damaged. And still missing parts. Back to Customer Service, who now pretended the delivery path was all a misunderstanding and DX would continue to deliver. Oh and told again that GM would ring me back in 5 minutes… same lie. So with a damaged box, missing parts from the original order and now more missing parts it requires more dialogue with Customer Service and more DX deliveries. So we had 2 more deliveries of missing parts until we finally got the right parts. Told by DX driver that no box from Racking Solutions ever arrived undamaged and that DX depot just throws things into the vans so lots gets broken.

Clearly Racking Solutions and DX are a recipe for disaster, avoid ordering at all costs. The cowards leading the organisation get the poor women to deal with order issues and a complaint rather than actually care that a customer was threatened and their process and delivery was a shambles. GM and HOS should seriously question themselves.

I just wish at the time of the first issue I’d just rejected the order and had them collect and refund me. It’s hardly an exclusive product. Lots of other options, highly recommend you choose them.

IN REPLY: Always interesting when the company deflects from the facts and attempts to discredit the reviewer. Perhaps not unexpected that you missed all my 5* reviews when the GM kept missing the opportunity to ring me back as promised 'in 5 minutes'.

It is a patent lie to say the review was left after a request for a partial refund (again another attempt to discredit the reviewer). It was left after the last of 6 deliveries, when I finally had the products that I ordered. The only refund I asked for was for the initial delivery charge (along with an apology) as the driver verbally threatened me and dropped the items. A pretty reasonable request.

That I am hearing now for the first time regarding your 'raising the delivery concerns' speaks to managements treatment of the matter and the professionalism to which you refer. An interesting definition of Responsive? In fact, I was only told to deal with DX direct and then was ignored after by the HOS.

I'll let readers decide whether your team acted professionally and did their best to resolve the issues raised. And BTW you emailed me 5+ times asking me to leave a review...

The system is good however we experienced a bit of difficulty slotting in the tabs. Some had the bent slightly to get them into the slots. Also the plastic feet needed trimming slightly to get them to fit onto the uprights. Otherwise the system looks good. Next step is to use the connectors.

Great racking and service from the team at Racking Solutions. Ordered first rack and after putting it together got another ordered straight away. Units feel very sturdy and price was spot on.

Speedy delivery, easy to assemble and great price. That good further order to follow.

Ordered garage racking. It was delivered exactly when they said it would be, arrived in very good condition and was easy to put together and very strong. Extremely pleased with my garage storage.

I had missing parts which was rectified and sent to me without any fuss.

I am disappointed with the delivery company you used, DX delivery, one they initially only delivered 1 of 3 packs 2 packs went astray. The 1st package was just dumped by our garage with no indicaion it had been delivered. When the missing packages arrived similar was done. Plus one box was damaged and the MDF panels had slight damage. So not very happy with the company you deal with.

Day 7, Delivery 1 - 3 of 4 boxes, apparently my delivery was split in 2 without notice.

Day 12, Delivery 2, the missing box, and 5 of 6 from the second delivery.

Day 14 - Delivery 3, didn't arrive as promised, waiting. Impatiently.

1 shelf built but 1 piece wood missing, second shelf half built as all wood and some metal supports missing, shelf 3 can't assemble. None can be used anyway because the plastic feet are missing.

How hard is it to get 10 boxes in the same place at the same time.

Absolute shambles, would never use again.

Very pleased with the shelving, it is both quick and simple to assemble, but remains very sturdy. Quick delivery from Racking Solutions as well. A good purchase.

Both packages and product in one arrived damaged. Company dealt with this well. Return and full refund or replacement of damaged items offered. No hassle. Speedy resolution.

I’ve had racking from this company before and it’s very well made and worth the money.

Exceptional. This is a brilliant product and so easy to put up, but the sales support and delivery team were also excellent but is fully erected within 36 hours of ordering.
