RCA Plumbing & Heating Reviews 

Having installed a new boiler a year ago, they made an appointment to service it in order to maintain the warranty. They arrived on time and it was notable that all personnel were the same as last year, so, happily, no turnover of staff there, which is always a good sign. All equipment has worked well and I am particularly pleased with the timer they installed (unusually not wireless) which suits my needs perfectly.

I have just had RCA plumbing & Heating back to do a couple of jobs for me, and again they were very quick and efficient at sorting things out.

I can't recommend this company enough. Our previous shower was badly installed so we had to rip out the tiles and the majority of plasterboard that went with it. We contacted RCA and someone came out very quickly to have a look and got started straight away. They were great from start to finish and even picked out the materials we needed for us as we didn't have a clue. A joiner was needed and they organised that too - also very happy with his side of the work! Our shower looks fantastic and we'll definetely use them again in the future.

Another 1st class job carried out by Chase [RCA Plumbing.] Had a leaking external waste pipe and Chase cut away the old one and fitted a new one. Checked under the kitchen cabinets to make sure everything was good before leaving site. Work place left clean and tidy as always, no mess no fuss.

Ryan and Chase have both done work on my home. from installing a brand new boiler to fixing multiple plumbing issues. They have always been professional, timely and done excellent work. would highly recommend them to anyone.

A prompt response to the initial enquiry was followed up by a site visit and the lodgement of a quotation for the work. On acceptance of the quotation there was a prompt acknowledgment of same.
Within a few days the procurement process was completed and I was advised a date for execution of the works.
The work started when advised and was completed within the stated timescale and on completion the work area was left as found.
The workers were very pleasant, well presented and got down to getting on with their task of installing the new boiler and without the need of a radio.
From my experience I would have no hesitation to call on the company to do any other plumbing or heating work. In fact they have been signed up to undertake the regular maintenance of the boiler.

Use Ryan all the time for my holiday homes. Never lets me down.

We had an niggling problem with a toilet that would not shut off. The guys came quickly and swapped out a faulty inlet valve - problem solved (and the price was reasonable). Thanks. J

Job: Decommission old central boiler + tank ,relocate new Valiant central heating system (boiler+tank+controls) and install.

TLDR;

Looking back , what I got for my money was complete peace of mind , punctuality , professionalism , friendliness and bags of experience – and exactly the right heating system I asked for and was advised/I researched was the best fit for me.

Ryan (RCA Plumbing) was not the cheapest quote I was given , however it was the quote with the equipment we discussed. Other companies seemed to want to come in at a price with cheaper options although we had specified a complete Valiant system , on the survey Ryan spoke in length about the needs of the property and the benefits and downsides to the kit available on the market. He was passionate about the Valiant brand (I had already decided to go with Valiant) and came across as supremely knowledgeable and straight forward , no hard sell or attempts to sway my choices – just benefits and limitation advice.

The install was booked for 3 days (his appointment/billing system is all automated as well as keeping me updated , gave me full control of the quote and also itemized billing) – It took 3.5 days with minimum downtime of hot water and heating.
The team Ryan , Lance and the legend that is young Jimmy were as tidy and professional as I’ve seen. At all times Ryan advised where we were and what next steps were.
We needed gas pressure increase for the new system – he did all that. We needed all new kit registered – he did all that , to be fair all we did was pay attention when he gave a demo of the finished work.

We had a slight problem with the heating controls on install – again he remedied quickly by calling in Valiant to get it resolved (needed the manufacturers attention)

The new system has been fantastic – house has never been warmer.
And I was also left with a mind blowing set of options that this new system can be configured to.

Ive already used RCA again and will next time I need plumbing/Heating work.

RCA plumbing are always very efficient, helpful and friendly. There are never any issues, they attend to the job and always carry out the work to a high standard. Would highly recommend to others.

Without warning we developed a leak in our central heating system, the guys came out checked the boiler no issues , Ryan said a leak like we had was like a needle in a haystack, we were prepared for the worst but Ryan decided to check outside again and he found the needle in the haystack, a fibre washer had failed, replaced and now no issues, I highly recommend Ryan, Chase and Jimmy from RCA plumbing and heating, I recommend them to everyone because of their first class service.

Our new boiler was installed by Ryan a year ago and has lived up to all the recommendations and promise of energy cost reduction that Ryan predicted. As OAP’s we are delighted with the savings, confirmed on our gas energy statement. Ryan serviced the boiler this week, efficiently, and with minimum disruption on one of the coldest days of the year. Superb service.

Ryan came out and serviced our boiler at a time that was convenient to us, and as always, he was quick, efficient, tidy and friendly.
Ryan installed the boiler for us 4 years ago, with very minimal disruption, and at an extremely reasonable price.
This is the 3rd year he has been out to service it now, and I am hoping he will continue to be our 'boiler guy' for many, many years to come.
