I had rented a car in Mallorca, but despite repeated promises to be able to return the car at 03.00 AM, it was not possible after all. This is where Vanrell came to my rescue - at short notice and with their SmartLock system, I quickly got access to a car - which, of course, could be delivered in the middle of the night. Along the way, I have quickly received answers to my questions from a friendly staff. Really a good experience. Thanks for the great service!

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Vanrell Car Hire in Majorca. Initially, I was charged twice for my car rental, which was a significant inconvenience. When I requested a refund, I was met with silence for eight weeks. Eventually, I received an email stating that they had charged me for “fine management” fees, despite never receiving any notification or documentation of any fines.

This lack of transparency and poor customer service is unacceptable. Being double-charged and then facing unexpected fees without any prior communication has left me extremely frustrated. The company’s handling of this situation has been poor, to say the least.

I strongly advise against using Vanrell Car Hire. My experience was marred by unprofessionalism and hidden charges. Avoid this company at all costs.

Friendly and helpful personell. Many cars available, good prices and no fuzz about insurance and extra cost.

Visited Mallorca and hired a car with Vanrell for 5 days. The Mini I was assigned to was in great condition. The whole process from booking, to dropping the car off was very easy and stress free - no crazy sum of a deposit was needed either. Thank you so much Vanrell. I will definitely use you again when I come back to Mallorca.

Wir haben heute das Auto abgegeben, alles wie vereinbart. Als ich zu Hause auf mein Konto geguckt habe, wurde via Echtzeit 400€ von meiner Kreditkarte abgezogen, wir haben weder eine Nachricht noch Rückmeldung dazu bekommen. Sehr dubioser Anbieter würde ich niemals mehr etwas anmieten! Vorsichtig!

We rented 3 cars from them in a week long stay, they have extremely helpful staff, very humble and polite. I Would specially love to mention Luis (at PM 3), such a wonderful gentleman.. his customer handling is top notch. He understands his clients so well, gives enough time, comes up with suggestions and flexibility in meeting the client requirements. God bless this lovely human.😊

Overall the renting situation went very well as the guy came to our hotel with the car and we could just leave the keys to our hotel without bringing the car somewhere by ourselves.

The downside was that we asked for a automatic Volkswagen Golf/Polo and we got a manual Peugeot 208. It would have been much easier with the automatic car but we managed well with the manual one as well.

The car itself was almost new, around 3000km driven. The car was not cleaned from the inside, and if it was it wasn't well cleaned. In contrast the car was clean from outside.

Otherwise the experience was quite good and the car worked well and we had no problems afterwards and when we returned the car.

Over all my experiance renting a car with Varnell went good, yes good but not excelent. Going through hire is a breeze on the website, price is also decent compered to renting a car over here on the spot, and which is a major positive is -no silly deposit-, also you might end up with an upgrade (like we did) got a better car. Although i was very lucky i was stupid enough not to check over the car on pick up, which had a dent. That was all good as on drop off they were aware of that damage to it. The main issue was when i had to return the car with same level of fuel as i got it. Went to petrol station filled up the car and... fuel gauge not moving, went to another petrol station (just in case these were dodgy) and same thing not a flinch on the gauge. So i had this in my head overnight that i will end up with some extra charges. It all ended up ok but the thought of being scammed is never a nice feeling. I honestly cant fault the customer service though. Very helpfull

Para no dar crédito… alquilamos un coche y al cogerlo nos damos cuenta que un cinturón tiene un defecto y no funciona. La solución que nos ofrecen, ir sin cinturón!!!! La chica nos asegura que “no pasa nada, no Es tan peligroso, y tampoco quitan puntos. Si hay multa se hace cargo la empresa”. Todo el mundo estará de acuerdo conmigo en que en esa situación lo mejor que te puede pasar es una multa, es muy peligroso. En el momento que nos negamos a saltarnos las normas de circulación (por mucha multa que te cubran cuidado, los puntos te los quitan a ti) y reclamamos el servicio que habíamos PAGADO, el coche se cambió porque no íbamos a irnos de allí sin un coche que cumpliera los estándares de seguridad pero las formas fueron muy malas, mucha mala educación y condescendencia. Ni una disculpa, por un momento me sentí como si estuviera reclamando algo sin sentido por sus formas, pero sólo quería ir en un coche atada con el cinturón!!! Pago 150 euros en 4dias por un coche que no cumple un requisito básico desde hace 30 años? Nos costó mucho ademas que aceptaran darnos un coche con las garantías que habíamos pagado. Como apunte, era el cinturón del medio de atrás, probablemente en el que peor parado salgas en un accidente, ni airbag delante ni asiento delante.
Además, el servicio es muy lento y como tú ya has pagado, cualquier persona que vaya con la tarjeta de crédito en busca de un coche va a pasar por delante de ti, y tú, que ya les has soltado el dinero (y no poco) te quedas viendo esta situación con cara de tonta.
Si de verdad quieres disfrutar de la isla a gusto, elige otra, el precio es en todas igual y seguro que son más agradables. Entre los guiris que colaban y el percance del cambio por el que ni se disculparon, nos costó un buen tiempo de la mañana y perder actividades programadas y pagadas de las que por supuesto ni se han preocupado. Pero cuidado si tú devuelves tarde el coche que te van a crujir lo que no está escrito. Por cierto, el coche, en reserva pero en el contrato te ponen que lo devuelvas con 1/4 del depósito, por si cuela.

AVOID - unathorised charges on my credit card for damage that we didnt cause and was there on arrival. Told us not necessary to inspect the vehicle on collection as we had taken comprehensive insurance so all/any damage is covered by the insurance. Stupidly, we believed them and didnt check. Now charging us for damage that we didn't cause. Oh and the comprehensive insurance - doesnt cover you unless you report the issue within 24 hours. Absolute disgrace. AVOID

No problem. Easy service. I was a bit daunted as first time hiring a car overseas. All went smoothly, clear instructions. Like a few have said the car I hired was quite a new car and had a few bumps and scrapes. I took photos etc and it wasn’t really a problem. Service light kept coming on, again not really a problem. Just the concern around whether they would try to lumber me with the bumps and scrapes is why I wouldn’t give 5 stars but I needn’t have worried and would recommend these guys. Very easy to deal with

Siempre nos atienden fenomenal y los coches son muy nuevos.

Leider bin ich dazu gezwungen eine negative Bewertung zu hinterlassen. Wir waren Ende Mai23 in Mallorca und haben uns hier im Vorfeld ein Auto reserviert inkl. Versicherung.

Generell die Übernahme des Fahrzeugs, die Nutzung und die Rückgabe hat problemlos funktioniert.
Es gab keinerlei Probleme, was ich mir durch die Dame vor Ort auch bestätigt lassen habe.

Allerdings wurde unser Konto jetzt 5 Monate später ohne Vorwarnung mit 49,90 Euro belastet.
Auf meine Rückfrage warum das der Fall ist, wurde seit 3 Wochen nicht reagiert.

Es ist wirklich gespenstig, dass hier einfach weiterhin Geld via Lastschrift abgebucht werden kann. Zumal man nicht einmal eine Vorwarnung geschweige denn Rückmeldung bekommt, für was der Betrag abgebucht wurde??

Nochmal: Keine Schäden, Kein Parkverbot, Kein Blitzer

Me and my boyfriend chose Vanrell as they didn't charge a deposit (other companies seem to charge a huge deposit on a credit card - which we don't have). Instructions on finding the office were straightforward and it was about a 5 minute walk to the car park directly opposite the airport. When we arrived to the Vanrell 'office', it was just a man standing in an empty hall with a laptop but he was very helpful and everything went smoothly. We were upgraded from a Fiat Panda to a Fiat 500 at no extra cost. We were given instructions on where to drop the car back. The car was immaculate but we made sure to take photos and videos of absolutely everything just in case (we arrived in the middle of the night and the car park is dimly lit). The car was in great condition and we had no issues at all for the whole week. Before returning the car we cleaned both the inside and outside of the car and took photos of everything (I've heard that rental companies will charge you if you return the car and it's not clean). We returned the car and everything was fine. We will definitely use Vanrell again in future.

I hired a cat G3 car for 3 days. (S/M SUV) and ended up with a Ford Kuga.
I had been hit on 3 corners out of the 4.
Driving it it needed an oil service, the anti-collision system wasn't working and the cruise wouldn't work. I got punchy with the amount of gongs going off and having to press OK to reset the display!
..and it had a slow puncture..other than that it was great!
Oh and the Company's response?..."Oh you should have brought it back, we would have swapped it"....erm...I think they are missing the point...my advice..."Don't hire a car out that is damaged, hasn't been serviced properly and has safety/system defects"

Great Service, outstanding cars. We booked for a Cat D car and we got a nice, clean brand new Peugeot 2008. The only thing i found slight challenge as want to extend the car rental for additional 2 days yet the price was too high. Overall, i would recommend and comeback
