Il 27 giugno,stipuliamo un contratto di noleggio di una panda per l'uso di un giorno.Il giorno 28 ci rechiamo in agenzia Vanrell car rental in zona Palma 2 Can Pastilla e saldiamo il costo di 49 euro .Successivamente ci informano che la panda non è disponibile e ci chiedono se possono fornirci una 500, allo stesso prezzo di noleggio.Acconsentiamo ,visto che la panda la abbiamo già guidata,ma la nuova 500 Hibrid,mai.Infatti non capiamo neppure come vedere il livello carburante e altri strumenti ,cosi faccio una foto al cruscotto col cellulare. Intanto perdiamo un'ora di tempo per la ricerca del mezzo..Partiamo per il rifornimento al distributore ,dove l'addetto al rifornimento, decide di fare il pieno di carburante senza dircelo. Il viaggio che facciamo,va da Palma ad Alcudia e ritorno nel pomeriggio.Al ritorno,consegnando le chiavi,chiediamo che vengano a visionare il mezzo ,sul come è sistemato e in quale condizione è....,loro,dopo ripetute nostre richieste,dicono sempre no... .Chiediamo se la benzina rimasta,ci possa venir stornata , quella che non abbiamo utilizzato,loro rispondono di no,neppure un euro,e che sono problemi nostri....Chiediamo come mai,non valutino un occhio più attento al cliente e loro rispondono che fanno tutti cosi li, sull'isola, e che non intendono cambiare idea.Cosi ,da 49 euro di spesa di noleggio giornaliero di una fiat 500 hibrid ,arriviamo ,con la benzina ,a 103 euro.Quasi in ogni viaggio ,noleggio un mezzo e non mi era mai capitato una cosa del genere. Anche le esperienze negative ,sono utili...lascio ai leggenti il giudizio sulla compagnia.............
ho le foto di partenza del mezzo con il livello del serbatoio che era a metà di un quarto del serbatoio....,quasi vuoto........... beato ,chi si è goduto la benzina che è rimasta nel serbatoio che ho lasciato quasi pieno

We have rented twice from VANRELL and each time the car was in very good condition and customer service was superb . Would highly recommend over all other companies

We rented a Fiat 500 in June 2023 for three days in Can Picafort, Mallorca. Very straight forward handover of the car, as we had the insurance with 0 excess in case of a damage and no deposit. The car was really good and new with only 11000km. It was also clean inside and outside. Absolutely had no problems.

I would suggest to check the online prices first, as they were much cheaper in our case. Would highly recommend

Would highly recommend hiring from Vanrell! We are due to travel out to Spain and hire from them for the third time. The first time we hired direct for a few days from their Santa Ponsa branch, the lady was brilliant and so friendly and the whole process from start to finish was seamless, even when we extended our hire slightly. We then hired from them again in April for the whole 5 nights we stayed in Majorca with pick up from Palma Airport. Despite picking up at midnight and slightly later than planned due to a delayed flight, the pick up again was brilliant and so straight forward. Signed the paperwork, handed the keys, paid for the parking and off we went. We returned the car back to the same place handed over the keys and off we went. The car itself is in excellent condition, they point out if there are any marks, however it's always pristine inside. Their Comfort insurance is brilliant with a total piece of mind whilst travelling with no deposit and no excess. We returned the car with a slight crack in the windscreen from what we can only presume a stone hitting it, and the gentleman who took the car off us explained no problems as we had the Comfort insurance. We are due to visit in June and will be hiring from them again, this time for 11 nights and are very much looking forward to it. I recommend Vanrell to absolutely anyone.

Its always a hassle booking cars in beach resorts. Unless you book in advance, your restricted to local car rental kiosks ran by dodgy characters with awful cars at extortionate rates.

Vanrell were great. Loads of locations in Mallorca, including one 40 minutes walk away. Website was fine , and prices reasonable.

The rental office was very informal, and extras were offered without pressure.

The car itself was a Fiat 500x as booked with 2,000 kms, so perfect.

Yes it came with a quarter tank as it says on the website and you return it the same.

Return was easy and they even rang me saying I had left a credit card in the car (it wasn't mine).

So definitely recommend them.

Hi,they are not even worth 1 star. I hired a car from this company when I was in Alcudia, Can Picafort back in July 2022 (last year). We returned the car and already paid the rental fee through my credit card at the time before we went back to our country. The company and their staff has my card details and they confirmed we don't owe any fee and all the fees have been paid and no damage on the car when we returned. Now I just checked my credit card statement and I was charged EUR49.90 in Dec 2022 by this company. The transaction displays as the supplier name Alcudia 1 in Can Picafort. How come my credit card is charged with this unauthorised transaction without my consent and no communication from the company at all. THIS IS FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION processed by this company to my credit card. At the time I travelled to Majorca and rented the car was 6-7 months ago. How this transaction is charged now 7 months later and I should not owe anything, everything has been paid upfront. Don't use this company, it is a scam.

Our car wasn't ready when I called to check. When I finally picked it up, I was told it had a full tank - didn't check until suddenly the empty tank warning went on just 50 kms after we started driving. Turns out there was no fuel in the car and that this is normal practice at Vanrell! We thought it was a mistake and filled it up, took it back the next day - no one was there, again and we had to wait 30 minutes until someone turned up. They then said it is was our fault we didn't realise there was no fuel and that they would not reimburse us for the petrol we put in. Rent from them if you like but be very careful - the other people waiting to give back their car at the same time said they had the same experience.

We usually use SIXT but they wanted €750 for an A class Mercedes’ for 5 days! You are paying for SIXT’s flash pick up point in the airport car park!! Don’t bother! Save yourself a wedge of euros and rent from these guys on the 4th floor by the entrance to the airport terminal. Clearly with no fancy desk with lots of lights & swivel chairs is how they pass on a great car rental service. I did think twice before I signed up but sooo glad I did!! Friendly quick service! Me cobraron 81€ por entrega y recogida nocturna, a la llegada me atendió un empleado en el parking, me dio el contrato y un ticket de parking q me tocó pagar y no fue nada barato. A la entrega no había nadie para verificar la entrega, me dijeron que dejara el ticket dentro del coche y la ventanilla un pelín abierta para meter las llaves por allí y por eso me cobraron 40€. El coche la verdad que bastante nuevo pero, en ese aspecto me pareció una estafa y no disponen de oficinas en el aeropuerto para poder reclamar.

Front desk lady was Rude as F$$k. Don't rent here. They also stated our reservation wasn't with them that it might be location 2 we asked if she can ask and she said you have your phone you can call them yourself. When we showed them the confirmation.

Rented a car for around 120 euros for a day. This is in my eyes an expensive price.
There were no technical issues with the car, but there was an almost empty gas tank. I thought at first this was a coincidence, but two other costumers the same day got a car delivered with around 2-3litres of gasoline in the fueltank.
We went to the nearest gas-station and filled around 20 litres in the tank, since we did not know how much fuel it would take to drive around mallorca in one day. We only spent around 5-10litres.
My conclusion is that this company likely is scamming costumers for gasoline and deliberately siphoning gasoline prior to delivery. This seems disrespectful to the costumers and in my eyes should be illegal. I recommend renting a car from another company.

Mi experiencia con esta empresa tan cutre: Si tu avión se retrasa tienes que pagar una penalización (en mi caso 30 euros). Tu no tienes la culpa de que la compañía tenga retrasos pero cuando llamas a Vanrell, las chicas que te atienden te tratan como a una basura y te dicen que esto es lo que hay y, como ya has pagado el coche, simplemente te fastidias. Cuando recoges el vehículo de manera casi clandestina en el parking del aeropuerto, te dan un tiket de parking que tienes que pagar tu (casi 4 euros) y te dicen que cuando entregues el coche lo tienes que dejar en las mismas plazas y meter la llave por una de las ventanillas del coche (que tienes que dejar un poco bajada). Lo que no sabes es que NINGUN seguro de los que ofrece esta empresa cubre la pérdida de la llave y si la dejas dentro del coche sin control, no puedes demostrar que la dejaste dentro del coche.
Los coches tienen más de 5 años y montan neumáticos chinos de baja calidad (para un coche de alta gama), las tapicerías tienen manchas y en el caso de este coche tenía un retrovisor roto, un golpe tremendo en el techo pintado con pintura de bote, el tapizado del maletero roto, el capó del motor se levantaba él solo, de un lado, en la carretera y lo más fuerte de todo es que llamas para decirles que el coche tiembla a 120 kilómetros por hora y te piden que escribas a un número por Whatsapp para que valoren si lo que dices es cierto y para ver si te puede cambiar el coche o no ¡Una auténtica vergüenza!
No se os ocurra alquilar en esta empresa, TODO SON PROBLEMAS Y TE TRATAN COMO A UNA BASURA.

Absolutely horrendous prices for rental cars, rent eslewhere

Very disappointed with their service, I arrived to collect my hire car this morning €93 for a VW Polo for one day (possibly the most I have ever paid for a budget car) only to be told they have over booked and I need to either Cancel my booking or change the date. So they mess up and it’s me compromising, I thought Spain was a first world country…..clearly not!
