This company needs to be SHUT DOWN. Scam artists and thieves. Took a month to ship a broken controller, sent a return label (after ensuring I would be getting my money back), and never sent my refund. Now they are ignoring messages and emails.

I hope this company gets shut down

I hope this company gets shut down. They're overpriced, unresponsive, and they completely leave out the condition of the product. I bought a 3ds XL with a two games, and got a cracked 3ds *LL (So it cant update or use the Eshop) with only one game that didn't have the box and the game didn't read.

This company is a SCAM! I hope the police, BBB, or someone shuts them down. They took payment, sent an incomplete / nonfunctional order, and then will not respond to customers. They don't pick up the phone (don't even bother trying), and whoever is managing their email responses is an expert at dodging questions and stealing your money. They lie and cheat honest consumers out of their money. HORRIBLE COMPANY - STAY AWAY.

I ordered a GameGube Console with…

I ordered a GameGube Console with MarioKart Double Dash game and 4 controllers. I even purchase the additional 1 year warranty. This was a Christmas gift for my kids. Did Not work. It wouldn't read the game disk. I emailed the support team. They gave a list of things to try, which I did. Still couldn't get it to work. I shipped it back per their instructions. Tracked the delivery back to them. It was delivered on Jan 11th. They gone completely silent on the refund. Have not received the refund. I had to go into my bank to dispute the charges. This has been a complete waste of my time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. The 121 day guarantee is a joke. They are sending out faulty products, knowing they don't work and it will be returned, keeping the money and selling the returned product to begin the cycle again. This is a complete scam.

Overcharged for a game that they gave me damaged

I ordered a game from this site on Friday January 19. They overcharged me for a game that’s maybe $40 at best. They charged me $70. I got the game today (WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2007 for the Xbox 360)
I just received the game today January 25. It came damaged, no case, scratches all over the disc, tried playing it 3 times would not work. Tried calling and emailing they won’t get back to me
So I’m now out $70 and didn’t get what I paid for.
I’m beyond livid and demand my money back because I will never ever do business with this scammer of a company ever again!!

Can't get a refund

We ordered a 3DS with 2 games for over $300. Long story short, the games wouldn't load, so we asked for and were told we could have a refund. We return shipped it, got confirmation of delivery on January 6th, but have yet to get a refund. They told us it would be 7-10 business days. Now they must have added our number and email to an ignore list, because we mysteriously can't get them to answer phone or email. They are appearing to be a scam after all. I'd gladly retract that statement if we could get a refund.

Scammers do not purchase

made a purchase, card was charged, said they had no stock, did not refund, called they say they processed a refund. They did not. Scam company do not buy anything. You get charged, and they will not refund.

I have contacted retro games by chat and email. They just close the ticket and say I am refunded and I am not. I keep getting messages that I am a top fan, IAM DEFINATELY NOT A FAN, PLEASE STOP MESSAGING ME.

I bought a n64 from retro v games plus…

I bought a n64 from retro v games plus 3 controller and 3 games. The console was covered in filth out of the box like it had been under a little kids bed for years also the inside was full of lint and debris. When I tried starting it up for the first time it took a half an hour and 3 tvs before I finally got it to send a video signal and it’s crashed on me several times. every one was of the games was in horrible condition and came from third party sellers days after they where supposed to arrive the Mario cart cartridge is the worst and is so sun faded you can barely tell it’s even Mario cart (cost about 80$ from them). One of the 3 controllers has a screws up joy stick that won’t return to center. I’ve tried getting in touch with their costumer support they responded once and requested video proof of the faults, I sent them what they asked for and after that they stopped responding. I really wish I had done more research on my end before buying products from them it’s turned into a real kick to the groin especially after spending almost 500 $ for all this horrible product. Im going to be telling everyone I know that these guys are a joke and a waste of money definitely learned my lesson the hard way with them and if retro sees this don’t even bother sending a hollow “we’re sorry response” it’ll fall on deaf ears you guys burned your bridge with me.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I made the mistake of reading the reviews on the website ONLY, and not check around other areas. Please Look at the BBB ratings, look at Yelp, look at Google, LOOK EVERYWHERE. Read all the 1 star reviews, because those are honestly the true ones. I ordered a Nintendo DS Lite with 4 games on 11/26/2023. The game system came within a week, and had one game with it. I tried the one game to see if the system worked, and the game would not start. When I contacted them about getting a refund, they said nothing could be done until all the games arrived. EACH GAME CAME FROM A DIFFERENT PERSON OVER A SPAN OF 2 WEEKS. One even came from eBay. The system I received was white, and it was very old and yellowed looking. I understand the units are old, and will show wear, and discoloration, but this still had dirt in the crevices. I was able to clean most of it out myself which tells me no effort was made to clean it any better than it was. When I opened the system to see if it worked, the top part was wiggly and there was a crack in the back where the game goes in. There was a bump in the front of the screen from the crack that's in the back. This was going to be a Christmas gift so I was feeling really bad about how this was going to be received. I started calling around to game stores in my area to see if I could find another unit to replace this one. I had called Retro Vgames and told them my concerns. They told me once all the games arrived, I could start a refund ticket. I ended up finding a game system that was in excellent condition for only $99.00 and it even came with a game and a 1 year warranty. I contacted Retro Vgames again, and told them I would be returning the game system and keeping the games, so if they could just refund the money I paid for the system I had to replace I would be happy with that. I paid $139 for the game system along with the 4 games. They sent me all the information to return and get my refund. I am now at 11 days, excluding all the holidays, and I still have not received my refund. They will not answer my calls anymore. *** I sent the system back 12/19/23. It was received and signed by them on 12/22/23. I received an email yesterday 1/09/24 telling me even though it has been "10 days", they still needed more time to process.
** in response, I have only been sending messages to that email. Day 14. No refund**

The gameboy color I bought does not work and keeps resetting after 1-2 minutes of gameplay. I am also unable to save my game.

Their site did not allow me to leave a review. Each of the products I ordered had over 95% 5 star reviews, so it seems they internalize bad reviews and only show customers positive reviews

Terrible customer service

These guys are dropshippers and scam artist.

These guys are dropshippers. They buy from legitimate sellers on eBay and Amazon and try to scam the item away. They will then either dropship from a seller to your address or they buy or steal the item, get it sent to there place and send it directly to the customer for 3x the price. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Absolutely terrible experience. Not only will I never order from RetroVGames again, I will encourage everyone I know not to and post a review on every available platform and possible location. They claim they have a rigorous process to make sure all equipment works properly, but they don’t ever see any of this equipment as it’s coming from people all over the country or world. I received the 6 items I ordered from 8 different individuals… none of which were RetroVGames. I ordered 5 games and an original NES with two controllers. The games came from five different persons. The NES console itself from a sixth. The two controllers from a seventh. And the power cord and A/V cables came from an eighth. When the equipment didn’t work they claimed again that all their equipment undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it works. Interesting… I wonder how RetroVGames performed that testing in 8 different locations all over the U.S. for my one order. The company is a scam.

‼️Scammers‼️

Update December 24, 2023: Yeah no, didn’t get the rest of my order, so I’m calling them scammers straight up. If you want more context read the rest, but if you don’t feel like reading, don’t buy from these people. Don’t spend over 300 like I did. You won’t get your things.

I bought a 3DS, two games, a case and an sd card.
First and foremost, the prices are genuinely insane. Basically $100 for tomodachi life by itself, just to give you an idea.
My order was supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days. The 3DS and it’s charger came on the third day, but nothing else did. When I was looking for them I saw that they sent a paper explaining how this might happen. That if you’re missing some items, they most likely got shipped separately. I was fine with this, but I wanted to call them just to make sure that’s what was happening. Went to call once, no answers. Called again a while later, still no answer. I was even making sure they were open, and left a voicemail. No response back. So at that point I just gave up and decided to wait the rest of the business days for the rest of the stuff to arrive.
It’s now the last day as I’m writing this at around 2am in the morning. If my things don’t come today I’ll chalk it up to being a straight scam. I even called again today and still no answer. My tracking was even temporarily deactivated for a couple of minutes before I could see it again.
The way the tracking looked, it made me think all of the things were delivered on the same day.
I’m extremely disappointed and I advise that you don’t buy from them. The fact that they even have to tell you that shipments like this will happen, without proper tracking of the items, means that it happens way too often and is way too risky. Spent over $300. Surprised that it even came with the charger to begin with.
Don’t buy from them, seriously not worth your time, and especially your money.

If I could give negative stars I would

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered over 200$ worth stuff on the website on December 11. I got an email saying it shipped, I contacted them via live chat today because the link doesn’t give me a tracking. I got in the mail 2 controllers but I did not receive the console, the memory card or the game that I also bought. My email says that is what was delivered, after speaking with a live chat person, I was told he was “waiting on the other tracking code”. Now when I go on the website to verify if I received it, there is no live chat. This is ridiculous!

Made an order on December 12th 2023. No word for 6 days. Not even an email. Then on the 6th day I found out that my money was refunded to my bank account. I do not trust these people.

After checking the listing for the game I purchased, I saw that they doubled the price from $35 to $74.97.

While there is no excuse for canceling an order without any communication, there are a couple of reasons why we cancel an order and we would like a chance to explain two main reasons.

We have multiple warehouses and we ship items directly from the warehouse, where they are available. While we do our best to stay on top of our inventory list, sometimes mistakes happen and if our team finds that an item is out-of-stock, they cancel the order. This can cause a rise or decline in price when new items come in our stock.

The other main reason why we have to cancel an order is that before sending out an order to our customers, our Quality Assurance department inspects and checks every item to make sure they are up to the mark and if they find that there are issues and no other replacements are available, they cancel the order instead of sending it out which can cause an inconvenience for our customers.

We apologize again that your order was canceled without any notice and we appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention as this is going to help us improve our services.

These guys seem to look legit but are…

These guys seem to look legit but are not. I tried to contact them and they now don’t respond. They sent a game but does not work. They said they will send a label to return but they stopped answering my texts and phone calls. I lost my money to these people. Don’t use them.
