Heres my Story.
I told them that I need a VPS in 3 Days, and its very important that its online by then.
They said, "no Problem, it can take up to 24hours, but no longer then that"
Great, ordered VPS, and paid instant with Bitcoin.
There occured the first Problem:
something isnt working with their billing system. It Says, send "XXXX" Bitcoins to some adress.
So I did, i sent the exact amount.
Still in the Payment- Form it says, "it seems that the Fees are wrongly calculated, so they wait another 10min"
Ok Great, i was patient until the other Day.
The next Day, the Invoice-Status was still "unpaid". There was a amount of 0,03$ left.
And there is another Problem, you cant pay 0,03$ in Bitcoin, because the fees are higher than that. So i send them 0,30$ worth of Bitcoin.
This time, their Payment System didnt even recognised he Payment.
(thats not unusual, many automatic Payment Systems need the exact amount of BTC to recognize the payment, so i wanst worried much)
I contacted the Support via Chat, and a Guy told me to open a Ticket, because he cant to anything. Payments are done by another department.
I told the Guy how important my case is, and that i was promised to get my VPS online withing 3 Days (2days left by then). He told me, he will forward the Ticket so it gets answered very fast"
Fine.
one Day later no Response.
i contacted them Again in chat, This time he told me, i should reply to the ticket. And i should write that iam in a hurry.
Thats what I told them all day long but ok, i did that, i updated the ticket and wrote that i need help ASAP.
One Day later iam goin nuts, i contacted them several times, they should look into it. They always say,
"Sorry i cant do anything"
"Payment department is offline"
"pls wait"
They also offer a Service, so you can Add Money to you Account and Pay the Invoices.
So i added money (3$) to my Account.
This time The Payment went fine, Order Completed, Status: PAID.
I thought if i have 3$ in my Account balance, i can pay these 0,03$.
But there is no Money in my Account!!!
So i contacted them again, they said:
The payment is still incomplete, they need to update their System.
WHY DO THEY EVEN OFFER A SERVICE TO ADD FUNDS, WHEN ITS NOT WORKING?!?!?
The only thing these incompetent ***** have to do, is check their ****** Payments manually and update my order status to complete.
(I paid them, 3 Times, even more as the Invoice says, i provided the Transaction Hashes aswell)
And they are to ****** stupid to do this in 3 DAYS?, We are going on Day 4 By now.
Its not the thing i paid them 40$, i ***** on this 40 Bucks.
MY SITE IS OFFLINE! And that made me lose 1000$ minimum.
ATM I host my site from my own PC because of these useless *****.

This hosting just sucks. They suspended an account and cannot tell the reason. Also website files cannot get back. Not recommend to anyone use this company. Miserable support. Seems they have 1 person freelancer who operate this company!

Outstanding Experience
Whilst developing my Computer Science project for my coursework in college, I soon came to the realisation that I was in need of a VPS - Linux, and I needed it yesterday.
My prerequisites were these:
- Capable of running a webserver
- Remote access
- Reliability
Not much to ask for in terms of the VPS; however, the customer service was brilliant. I ordered it and within minutes it was set up and ready for me to start my testing. I could not recommend this company more, they were helpful throughout the entire process and I'm fairly confident that I'll be using them in the future as well. Top service.

Customer service on autopilot - underwhelming service
Every time you visit RockHoster's site, you're greeted with a customer support chat notification. I thought this was a nice gesture at first, but it quickly becomes an annoyance when they take several minutes to reply to your initial chat message.
I filed a ticket with a simple question, and it was put on hold for over a week, and only replied to once I informed them I would no longer be using their services.
I used their TeamSpeak hosting services and I was unimpressed with the server stability/downtime.
Overall I would absolutely not recommend this provider. Waste of money.
10 days downtime, only solved after cancellation request
My website was down for 10 days. During that time I opened a ticket and insistently asked for updates. They always postponed a possible solution.
Meanwhile I found a new hosting provider and submitted a cancellation request to Rockhoster. Suddenly, just one day later, my problem was fixed.
Very unprofessional. Not recommended at all.
I also had other tickets with major issues, related to their broken email server, that were open for longer than 2 weeks and never got a solution.
Worst teamspeak hosted EVER AND LYING STAFF
Bought a server. Over the course of three months and $15 the server was up for maybe 2 weeks. They also promised me a free 3 days of hosting for each day that it was down which was NEVER honoured; when I asked about that they replied with "your server was never down" both me and a few of my friends used them and all of our servers were down all the damn time. I don't recommend this garbage company to anyone ever.

They have been offline now for over 4 days, their support reply's within 10 minutes but they apparently don't know when the servers will be back online. "Soon, No ETA atm, You will be emailed soon"
