They are the scammers here in UAE. In my new car they're telling the extra problem. They did not even do anything in service. Coolant level was the same as before. The car was in same condition as earlier given to them. Guys don't give your car to them. It's better to go in local garage. Save your money and don't go with these scammers.

Yeah, these brain dead dimwits have not got a clue about car servicing. Had the worst experience of my life with them. They absolutely steal your money and do nothing to the car, Full on frauds, please do yourself a favour and just find a solid mechanic, these clowns aren’t it.

At this point I am ready to report my car as stolen to the police.
The service was completed 8 days ago and they’re not returning my car. I’ve been calling, emailing and speaking to everyone.
This is the 3rd and last time I will be using this company, very inconveniencing, fraudulent, and unprofessional. Customer service not helpful.
Avoid at all costs, the promise of convenience is a lie and they give extortionate quotes for car repairs.
The first time I used them they were good, 2nd time bad and this last time diabolical. Never again

Stay FAR away. Absolutely useless.

I cannot express enough how much I hate this company. Used them 3 times and it gets worse each time. 3rd time was because I had a service package and didn't want to waste the money but wish I had. They lie about the reports (said all my tires need replacing yet I replaced 1 a month ago, everytime they tell me I need new sparkplugs despite me getting them replaced by them the first time and many more incidents)

Their customer service is terrible. Been on hold for 30mins without answer before. WhatsApp just ignores you or doesn't reply after promising updates.

It will take at least 1 full week just for an oil change and they will lie everyday about when you'll get the car back.

Honestly I do not know how they are in business.

Worst Car Service & Customer Service in Dubai

They entice you with a low service fee & free pick up & delivery and then give inflated and unreasonable quotes for parts & labour. I waited 2 weeks for my car to be returned to me and when it was returned, it was full of dirt and oil stains on the leather interiors and carpets caused by the mechanics in the workshop. I sent it back again for interior cleaning and they returned the car again telling me it had been cleaned inside and was not. Also returned to me with problems that weren't there when the car was given to them. Misdiagnosis of issues. Parts I asked them to check were not checked properly. The worst 7000+ AED I've ever spent, customer service is nonexistent from the call centre. You call for information on quotes or when your car might be returned and each time you're told someone will call back. Usually, they don't and you have to call again & again to find out anything. I would definitely say take your business and your money elsewhere. I will not be using them again..

Worst car service experience ever

The only reason I gave one star is because I cannot give zero. Without doubt the worst car service experience I have had in 40 years driving. These guys are dishonest, arrogant and incompetent. I dealt with two of them, Mustafa and Abdul. Both of them lied to me, refused to call me back, refused to return my car when I decided not to proceed with additional work, and were rude and confrontational when I finally did manage to talk to them. They kept my car for four days during which time they only managed to change the oil and the oil filter and plug in the diagnostics device. They then told me it would take a further 7 days to complete a routine list of repairs (spark plugs, gaskets, filters..) which I can usually get done same day with a proper garage. Stay away from this company. It is absolutely dreadful. The AED400 service is just a scam to get the car into their facility after which they find thousands of AED worth of 'problems' that need attention. They give you a list of issues but refuse to tell you the cost whilst simultaneously holding your car hostage. An appalling company overall.
UPDATE:
After posting the review above I got my car back along with an estimate for repairs coming to almost 11,000AED. I was so happy that I put my foot down and demanded the car be returned with no additional work. As an example, they quoted me 760AED to replace the spark plugs. When I lifted the plastic engine cover under the bonnet I could clearly see that nobody had even touched this area because there was a perfectly undisturbed coating of dust on everything - so they didn't even check the condition of the existing plugs before quoting. The cost of the spark plugs on Amazon is between 100AED and 300AED depending on the brand.

bunch of scammers

i would not even want to rate them 1 star!! they are a bunch of scammers. extremely disappointed with their poor performance and lack of customer service. My car suffered a tyre puncture and was picked up by the team. Despite numerous phone calls and verbal complaints no one was willing to take responsibility and own up to the fact that the wheel lock key was not returned to the car by the team after all 4 tyres were replaced by them a month ago. No solution was offered until i had personally found a solution and yet they continued to argue that they wouldnt replace the key. Needless to say, I am very annoyed at what is a totally preventable issue, and it has caused undue stress, never mind the now days without having the use of my car and the money I have spent on taxis only because of their mistake. after 5 days i still continue not to have a car.

I am writing a review to express my deep disappointment with the recent service experience I had with SMC.

In 2022, I availed SMC services based on recommendations and was initially impressed. However, my recent encounters have left me dissatisfied.

I recently purchased a service pack as suggested by Harsh for my brand new car. During the first service, the recovery team damaged my car's undercarriage by attempting to load it onto a truck ill-suited for low vehicles. After repeated attempts, they finally used a full low bed, causing unnecessary delays.

Six months later, when the car was due for service, I specifically requested a low bed truck, as promised in my service plan. Despite confirming this with there advisor a day before and being assured of a full low bed, the recovery team called me in the early morning of the pick up and i ask what truck they said there normal truck not low bed. and I was initially informed that I would have to pay for the correct service. Only after insisting did they rectify this.

Moreover, the service advisor, Harsh, assured me of same-day service which was part of the express package. However, the recovery team initially arrived with the low bed, and after much delay and several calls, they finally managed to adhere to the agreed-upon timeline.

Additionally, I was shocked to find discrepancies in the pricing for brake disc skimming. Two years ago, I paid 300 AED for all four discs. Now, the quote I received was 680 AED plus VAT. Despite my efforts to obtain clarification from both Mebin and Harsh, I have been met with unresponsiveness, differing quotes, and a lack of accountability.

This experience has been frustrating and does not align with the level of service I initially received from Service My Car. I urge you to investigate and rectify these issues promptly. I believe in transparent and fair business practices, and this recent experience has left me questioning the integrity of your company.

Worse experience ever

Worse experience ever, first of all the employee who came to pick up my car was shouting at me because he found difficult to park where I had the pick up. Before I sent the car I asked to be back at 6PM next they, they confirmed as no problem at all, the following day after several calls, putting me on hold and promised we will call you back and they never did, at 7:30pm my car still nowhere. Moreover they will try to add hundreds and thousands as recommended repair. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Dishonest, money grabbing crooks!!!

Last week I stupidly allowed ServiceMyCar to assess my car for a general service pre RTA re-licensing.

After they had my car for nearly a week (with me chasing daily for an update) I was shocked to be presented with a bill of 11,000 AED for parts that they recommend I replace! I was completely taken aback and wanted a second opinion.

When I informed them of this, I was told to ‘Calm down’ and not to get ‘so Agro’!! Rude is an understatement!!!

After taking it to my local garage (Fox Garage & Tyre Shop on Umm Suqeim for anyone interested) I was informed that they would be able repair the parts as opposed to replacing them. In less than 24hrs they had collected my car from the ServiceMyCar depot, taken it to their garage and indeed determined that they could repair the parts and extend a 6 month warranty should anything happen post service!

Their quotation for the works (including pick up from ServiceMyCar, RTA Test and registration) was 4,121.25 AED, nearly 7,000 AED less than ServiceMyCar!!!!!!!! I also had my car returned to me in perfect condition within 3 days as opposed to a week of waiting for news!!!!

I still can’t get over what complete crooks ServiceMyCar are!!! I should have read the reviews before I booked with them! Let my experience be your lesson NEVER to book with them!!!!

They should learn more about putting the customer first as opposed to focusing on lining their pockets!!!

Overpriced services

The overall major service was okay however they have recommended a lot of repairs and for every item, they charge extra for inspection and the labour charges later for every repair. The pricing is comparably higher too. I accepted some mandatory repairs and caused some delays. I have noticed a lot of negative reviews which I failed to checked before. I think they have scammed me for some items I agreed before, unfortunately. I replaced my tires and brake pads outside way cheaper than their costs. I will not go back and will try to find other reputable and reliable garage next time.

Unfortunately I just check the reviews after I had very bad experience with this company! Before the services they are very friendly, smile and sympathetic people! At the first issue they change completely! Fake conversations and fake people! Be careful with the first impression! Never suggested!! Very bad services!!!

Scam!

Beware! These guys are scamming people. I visited global village yesterday (18-11-2023). As soon as i parked my car, a guy from service my car shows up and offers a free car wash service as part of their promotion. Only condition is they ask you to download their app and register on it. The guy waited there till I downloaded the application and registered on it. After checking my phone (to confirm that i have downloaded and registered on their app), he said my car will be washed by the time return back. I returned back after about 4 hours to find my car in the same condition as I left. They didn't wash my car as promised. They are cheating people for our data. If this is how they market their company you can imagine how their service will be if you choose to hire them for something.

DISAPPOINTING experience FOR CAR SERVICE DONE
AT Service My Car (SMC), DUBAI

I sent Toyota Fortuner SMC for major servicing on 6 November 2023, with a promise to service for AED299 (+5 Vat) and got it back on 13 November 2023 with a whopping bill of AED 7670.88.

My car was a great condition, and I just wanted a thorough checkup. It has done just over 26,000 km. At the garage, they informed that there will be additional charges for changing air filter, AC filter and spark plugs. Then there were additional charges for oil additives and engine flush.

Later on inspection, I was informed that the car needs (i) tyre change (mind it that it has run only 26,000 km though it was 2017 model), and (ii) change of shock absorbers, both front and rear.

SMC changed both the shock absorbers, then came back to me that the rear shock absorber they have procured is faulty. So, they had to replace the new faulty one with the old one as they claim that they did not get the genuine part. SMC did promise that they have placed order for the new rear shock absorber and the time limit is 90 days by when they should expect a new shock absorber.

The car was delivered at 18:15 when it was already dark. The driver first asked the money to be paid without letting me inspect the car. The delivery report informs very little about the car condition as delivered, and the driver was in a hurry as he could not park the vehicle on truck for a long period.

The issues that I found were as follows:
i. So that there was no procedure for inspection upon delivery.
ii. Once I saw the rear of the inside of the car, all the side panels were dusty, and even the inside was not at all properly vacuumed. So obviously it was not cleaned as they claim as a task for a major servicing.
iii. The rear number plate bulb was not fixed as it was loose.
iv. There was no regular update from anyone and I had to call all the time all 7 days and several times, to find out what is happening and the delivery of the car.
v. I was promised that the car will be delivered at 9 AM and it was finally delivered at 18:15.
vi. I checked of the cost of the Yokohama tyres on google that was replaced and the price of the shock absorbers. What has been charged is almost 30% more that the market price.
vii. It took 8 days to get back my car.
viii. Other than the brand of the tyres, I was not informed of the brands of any other parts replaced.
ix. The driver came with card machine which did not work, so I had to pay in cash.
x. When I checked the inside of the car and the bonnet, nothing was clean. I shared videos to the SMC and they eventually told that I can bring my car to their service station for cleaning.
xi. Related to prices quoted, I checked on google and I find that the prices seems to be 25-35% HIGHER.

I will only know about the car performance once I drive it for at least some time. Also I will wait if they would inform me the availability of the rear shock absorber.

But is the price charges ok?

What is their reliability of having changed oil etc when the engine bay looked so dirty and unclean.
