Excellent customer service ! …
I think the true test of customer service is when there is an issue . I asked for advice about some marks that appeared after 5 years and I couldn’t remove . After sending some photos I was told that the glaze had crazed and this was covered by the Lifetime warranty. I could easily have been fobbed off but Shaw’s initiated the free replacement of my sink without any pressure from me at all . They also managed to find my original order and so there was no nonsense about having to produce a receipt - another reason to buy direct !! Truly great company to deal with .

Excellent customer service
Very impressed by the customer service at Shaws of Darwen. We purchased some wastes to go with our beautiful Shaws of Darwen sink, and a couple of parts went missing (our fault, not theirs). Sandra in Customer Services has been incredibly helpful and quickly arranged replacement parts with no hassle. We're delighted with our sink and the overall service received!

Highest level of customer support
We had a double butlers sink from Shaws on which the glaze crazed. I was rather anxious when I rang them to explain the problem as I fully expected to be brushed off and told it was my problem, but they could not have been more helpful. Our sink has now been replaced and they dealt with all the associated costs, as well as replacing an additional part which our plumber broke in the process of fitting the new sink.
An exceptional level of customer support for which I am hugely grateful.

Seemingly poor quality
I have a Shaw Original Kitchen sink and I have never seen a sink that loses its finish so easily. The base is marred with spots from normal/light usage. I would have a hard time recommending this sink to anyone.
I use Bar Keepers regularly and we also have a sink base protector. Don't know what else to do. And the sink was installed before the lifetime warranty came into effect so I guess one just looks at poor quality daily. This apron front sink is an expensive sink and it is only seven years young. I guess quality was compromised somewhere.

Delevery delay
Ordered sink mat in November with the expectation it would be received in time for Christmas.
It didn't - and i had to chase to find out what was happening.
To be fair, the CS representative, identified my order and explained that delay was due to a supply issue abroad.
Mat eventually turned up a couple of weeks later...
Just think that when the product was delayed ( and the delivery date originally offered had passed), then a contact to advise me of the issue would have been welcomed.
Now I have eventually received it, i can't fault the product

Discontinued a strainer plug
Discontinued a strainer plug so that the whole waste fitting has to be replaced at a cost of £73 plus a plumber - unacceptable commercial manipulation.....
