Expensive and inefficient service
I had not intended to use this service, but at Gatwick Airport, trying to check into my flights with final destination Bolivia, it transpired I needed to fill in a Bolivian government online form, and the internet connection to their server was not responding. The airline check-in agent directed me to Skyfix to get the form downloaded and filled in by them. She said it might cost me about £10; I heard "£5" from the Skyfix agent; and when I came to pay it was £25. I have 3 issues with their service: 1. The first agent available seemed new and lacking confidence and willingness to do the task; 2. The second, more experienced, did it, but I had to return to get the form corrected because she had typed my birth date wrong (she gave no apology until I asked for one); 3. The price was exorbitant and no sign was visible showing info. about charges. Airport users, watch out for this - when under pressure trying to fly, we may cede to expensive and even inefficient service.

I booked a package holiday from a well-known holiday company. I paid for a return flight and hotel for a month. When the confirmation came through I saw that my name was displayed incorrectly. I contacted the company who advised that they they would refer the issue to the relevant department. I heard nothing back from the company. I contacted the company the day before my departure date and was told the issue was still being processed! Just before arriving at Gatwick airport, an email arrived to tell me it was not company policy to correct bookings!
As I entered the airport, I saw the Skyfix help desk. Fearing that my flight and holiday was doomed, I thought I would approach for advice. I spoke with Shannelle, Shannelle checked my booking, located it, high-lighted some other issues, compared my passport and then, as if by magic, the problems were fixed.
If only everyone could do their job as well as the people I met at Gatwick Skyfix, the world could be a better place! Thank you!

No compassion, barely help, pay up
I forgot an item on the plane. Went back when I realised on the train that in the crowd push to grab my belongings and get off the plane, the most important item was somehow left on the seat.
I thought I looked, but I was actually quite tired.
I ran to the lost property desk. Already registered the item online.
Not an ounce of compassion or kindness from the 3 people sitting there chatting.
I offered to wait. There was no point. They checked and the item was found but they said they would not go to collect it before next day or even 2 days later.
Next afternoon i got a message. They matched the item to me, I had to book either collection via their agent or go and get it myself from Gatwick.
There was an admin fee anyway.
Communications via the website chat was lagging, the info hard to get.
It’s not enough misery to loose an important item, they make you suffer your mistake even more.
Just upsetting

She helped me so much with an enquiry that I made to her & tried to help me as much as she could.
She is a Real Credit to Skybreak as a company, her Attitude and Willingness to help me in a situation that no one else actually could tell me about, she persevered and although couldn’t actually do anything herself about my unfortunate situation, she put my mind at rest with all the info she gave me & the time she spent to try to help in my unfortunate circumstances, concerning my flight to Ho Chi Minh City on 07/01/26

The process to register and collect was simple and efficient
Thankfully registering my phone as lost on the Skybreak system was really easy and quick and I was able to do it online over the weekend. I received an email that the phone had been found and sent to Skybreak 2days later and collected it the next day. We were stranded in England by the Air Canada strike with no way to get home. We spent hours online trying to book flights that disappeared faster than we could view them. In desperation, we went to Gatwick Airport's Sky Break desk and found our hero, Philip Munroe! He scoured the options for us and found nothing that wasn't a week away. Then he had the brilliant suggestion that we fly to the USA and make our way home to Toronto, Canada from there. It took two full hours, but we walked away with a flight, fully checked in, luggage fee paid, and printed
tickets in hand... and a great recommendation for a local restaurant for dinner! After 8 hours of stress and struggle, it felt like a miracle. Someone give this man a raise for going so far above and beyond for us! Excellent customer service with a kindness and patience that was much needed. Thank you, Philip!
