Takes more than an hour to get the car
Took about 40 mins to check the paperwork, took us to our car to realise it was unacceptably dirty, then to wash it for another 15 mins. Haven’t had to wait for so long at other rentals.

I’ve had a brilliant experience with Switch, at Truro (Threemilestone) branch. It’s been quite a long hire period (my dealership uses Switch for courtesy cars) and Sergio and Alex and their team have gone out of their way to make it as painless as possible. Our first hire car was way too big for us, and the team let us try other cars for size, and swapped it over with no bother. Switch Excellent service very helpful staff
Switch Kings Lynn were really good. I rang before the rental and they kindly let me send all the documents to them in advance so we didn't have to search for these things when we arrived. Ian who helped us with our rental was brilliant, he helped us hugely with the addtional driver and also offered to assist in getting us to the station when we returned the vehicle. Excellent service.

Worst Courtesy Car Experience EVER
This is by far the worst car rental/courtesy car lease company I have ever encountered in my life. My mother was recently in an accident which required her car to be sent off for repairs & be out of use for approx. 2 to 3 weeks which meant that she would need a suitable courtesy car as she's disabled & unable to get around otherwise. If you desire to be able to contact your car lease company via phone, Switch (especially Switch in St Albans on Hatfield Road, although head office is just as bad) is the last place you should consider taking your business. I (and my family) have called them countless times over the last month - as have my insurance company (direct line) - and have waited on the phone for HOURS to try and make arrangements. The phone just rings and rings and rings....Up until this day, no one has EVER answered. It's to the point where I question the point of them even having a telephone line or phone number! I've NEVER experienced such poor & non-existent customer service before, to the point that my insurance company themselves had to reach out via email, to prompt them to actually carry out the simple task they were being paid to do. Finally, after almost 2 weeks of trying to contact them, a courtesy car was arranged and delivered (it ended up being an awful Jaecoo SUV but that's besides the point).
Once my mother's car was finally repaired & delivered, we (and the insurance company) attempted to contact switch to arrange pick up of their car. They eventually acknowledged the communication & texted a specific date/time for collection. Guess who did not arrive to collect their SUV on that date or contact us or Direct Line to reschedule?🤨 Keep in mind we had nowhere to park this SUV because as I'm sure you can imagine (like most homes in the UK) we do not have unlimited driveway space for parking, we already had 2 SUV's & therefore finding space for a THIRD became a massive inconvenience. It was not until almost a week later after having to contact the insurance company numerous times & having them notify Switch that they would be cancelling insurance on the vehicle AND payment for leasing extra days *unnecessarily* that they actually arranged to come and collect the car. Even upon pick-up they tried to blame us for leaving an imaginary 'dent' on the passenger side of the vehicle which we argued was impossible because the car had only been used twice & neither times was the passenger door used nor near any other vehicle, that they finally left it alone.
Overall, an absolutely AWFUL experience😭 I would much rather sacrifice money on Ubers or on paying a different company out-of-pocket, than ever have to deal with them again. Let this be your warning; if your insurance company uses them for courtesy vehicles, I implore you request they SWITCH to a different organisation (pun intended lol). Any other company is probably better to be honest; please just stay away from this company...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Absolutely shocking if could give lower than 1 would definitely do it. No customer service skills whatsoever kept waiting over an hour because didnt have decency to let me know there was a problem with car another customer turned up while i was waiting to complain about vehicle and having to cancel holiday which is an absolute joke also manager told me i was asked for somethimg off his member of staff which i wasnt when i adked him to check cctv to confirm this the response was cctv doesnt work also this company isnt regulated by vehicle hire laws apparently they get to set their own rules
