and despite them stating we are very sorry and please send an email, guess what, NO RESPONSE!!! And I guarantee they will reply with the same to this review, Talabat is useless, zero accountability for shocking delivery times, food arriving cold and customer service that is no more use than the food that they deliver. My complaint was simple and could have been rectified with a refund but one week later, nothing, If you are reading this review, please use any other food delivery service but not talabat.

Received a wrong and damaged item

Received a wrong and damaged item, and the product looked different from the picture in the app. I followed up many times for almost 3 days, but there was still no proper solution or refund. Customer service kept giving different information and promises. They also said many times that they already reported the issue to higher management, but nothing happened. After all the reports they made, they still marked the case as resolved even though my issue was never resolved.

Better options in the market

They literally compel you to use the app only, which is not ideal, as anyone should have the freedom of using website on a laptop or app and not be forced into the app only.
Customer service is very poor.

Inaccurate Listing – Not What I Ordered

I ordered Vitabiotics Menopace Plus from this seller, and the product listing was misleading. The main image showed the actual Menopace Plus Botanicals box, but the seller used a second promotional image that looks completely different. Because of this, I received a product that did not match the item shown in the primary photo.

This kind of mixed-image listing is confusing and feels like it’s tricking customers. Supplements must be listed accurately, and customers should receive exactly what is shown. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency.

I hope the seller fixes the listing so others don’t face the same issue.

Talabat are very bad specially here in Fujairah team im regular customer but i wish they will have observation from Fujairah consumer ministry because they have a lot of issue

I had one of the worst customer service…

I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with Talabat.
Three weeks ago, I ordered flowers through the app, and they arrived completely ruined, rotten, and unacceptable to even give as a gift. I reported the issue immediately after receiving the order and requested that they collect the damaged flowers. Nobody came to collect them.
Talabat then promised me a refund and told me multiple times that the money would be returned within “30 minutes.” It has now been THREE WEEKS, more than 7–8 phone calls later, and I still have not received a single dirham back.
What makes this even worse is that their managers continuously lied and kept giving false promises just to delay the issue. Every single time, I was told “the refund is being processed” or “you will receive it within 30 minutes,” and absolutely nothing happened.
On top of that, Talabat shared my personal information with the flower shop without my consent and then told me to contact the shop myself to get refunded — even though the order and payment were made through TALABAT. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible.
At this point, it honestly feels like they are intentionally delaying refunds until customers get tired and forget about their money. And judging from this experience, this seems to be their standard way of handling complaints.
Absolutely terrible customer service, zero accountability, dishonest communication, and no respect for customer privacy or money. I will never trust Talabat again after this experience.

Very bad costumer services

I order groceries at 11 pm last night and waited for 1hrs then I finally received at 12 am.When I received my order one of my item was missing then I tried to communicate with the costumer service and explained about the situation.she asked me if i want refund or redeliver then I replied her that I want the missing item to be delivered. Clearly I mentioned redeliver and she said okey.I waited again for the items hoping that it will get redeliver but until now there is no sign of response on it.

Very cheap n unreliable app

Very cheap n unreliable app. They have no sense of responsibility at all to the orders placed. They always cancel orders pretty much after an hour or so of waiting for the delivery. We zero recommend this app. Miserable service

Horrible experience

Horrible experience!

I ordered sushi from the Talabat app, however when I received the order - it was half damaged and food was messed up in the box. Also, there was a leakage from it. When I contacted customer service in the Talabat app, the agent gladly assisted and very clearly confirmed that my money will be refunded back to the Talabat Pay wallet. However, after 30 minutes I received a voucher for future usage rather than a promised refund. You are lying to the customers, that's horrible, rather than to assist. Once again I contacted the customer support, agent Habib was assisting me. It was ridiculous to see how he is defending himself by lying to the customer and forcing to pay for the damaged order by creating vouchers for future usage. This was not the 1st time when money was refunded to me on my Talabat Pay wallet, however now they are trying to tell me that it can't be done. Only 30 minutes ago another colleague confirmed to me that the refund will be processed. Such a liar!!!!

Very poor quality and disappointing customer service

I ordered 4 packs of coffee from Ben Shaheen through Talabat (Talabat Mart). After 3 days, I opened the first pack (since I still had some older coffee), and unfortunately, the coffee was burnt and smelled very bad.

I contacted customer service, but there was a clear lack of interest. The agent told me they couldn’t process a return because more than 12 hours had passed since the purchase. I wanted to return the "closed packs" to avoid the issue in another pack.

Zero flexibility or attempt to resolve the issue. Actually just a talent in manipulation and giving you the idea about how un-interested they are in your case.

I asked to escalate the complaint or speak to a supervisor, but there was no real response.

What made it worse is that a supervisor was supposed to contact me, but instead I received a missed call that rang for literally 2 seconds. It felt like a tactic just to mark the case as “contacted” and close the complaint without actually addressing it.

Overall, a very disappointing experience in both product quality and customer service. I won’t be ordering again.

What a Shame !

Scammed and thieves

Unfortunately, I was scammed through this application and money was withdrawn from my bank account even though I didn’t buy anything. This app is full of hackers, scammers, and thieves. Be careful and do not deal with it.

Very dishonest and disrespectful

I had received a 30-Dirham voucher as part of their 7-day Challenge, valid until 25 April 2026. However, when I tried to use it in the morning of 25 April 2026, it was already showing on the app as expired and it would not allow me to use it.
I chatted with their team on the app and also shared a screenshot. They called me back and said we’ll sort it out, then asked for a positive feedback, which I did based on their promise.
I then had a call from the complaint management team and they told me that the vouchers can expire at any time during the expiry date (which could be the first minute!!) and that they cannot do anything to help now it’s already expired on their system. I insisted that there are many hours left before the end of the day and asked for a manager to call back - was promised a call within 30 minutes. Having not received the call, I chatted again to their support team on the app; they called me back confirming that it’s already been escalated, then also asked me for a positive feedback.
It is now over 5 hours and still no call back; I bet they’ll still ask for a positive feedback when they do, as it seems it is all they care about.
Ironically, I am a shareholder of Talabat and it is painful to give a negative feedback. I’ll be definitely raising this issue at the next general meeting. I’ll then look forward to selling my shares ASAP after that.
PS: wait for the same cop/paste cliche of a response, which further reinforces that they do not have any respect for their customers.

UPDATE FOLLOWING THEIR RESPONSE
I sent an email as advised in their response while knowing already it’s going to be a waste of time. As expected, I received another cliche email about valuing customers but the bottom line remained that nothing can be done to honour the deadline.

ADVICE: vouchers expire before the deadline stated so use them well before that.
MY PLAN OF ACTION: - cancel my Talabat PRO (already set a reminder on my phone to cancel before the renewal date) - report my experience at the next shareholder meeting - then sell all my shares, as I don’t want to be associated with Talabat anymore - use my existing membership with the better competition: Deliveroo, Careem and Smiles + explore Noon and Keeta

I had a very frustrating experience…

I had a very frustrating experience with talabat Mart. One of the items I received was damaged, and although the app later claimed that they tried to contact me to arrange a pickup, no one ever reached out to me at all.
To make things worse, I then received a message saying they were “unable to reach me” and that no refund would be processed if the item wasn’t returned. This is completely inaccurate and unfair, as I was never contacted in the first place.
It’s extremely disappointing to be held responsible for a failed communication that didn’t happen, especially when the issue was with a damaged product from their side. Customer service should be more transparent and actually attempt proper contact before making such claims.

Worst delivery handle

Hi, I received the egg delivery, but unfortunately 30 eggs of trays are fully broken. All eggs are damaged and not usable. Please arrange a replacement or refund as soon as possible.

THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!! I genuinely don’t even have words for how bad Talabat is. It is, without a doubt, the most frustrating and unreliable service I have ever used. I honestly don’t understand how they are still operating.

The support team is completely useless—you literally have to tell them how to do their job. They have absolutely no idea how to resolve issues, and it feels like no one takes any responsibility.

The worst part? They constantly LIE. They tell you a driver is at the restaurant picking up your order when, in reality, there is no driver at all. They don’t even investigate the issue—they just give you false updates and hope you accept it.

It is a complete waste of time and energy, and they will push your patience to the limit. The stress and frustration are honestly not worth it.

Do yourself a favor—STAY AWAY. Rather go to the store yourself or use any other delivery service. Anything is better than this.

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Absolutely shocking.

it is the one of the WORST APP i came across. you don't get support when it needed. the team from customer support only speak repeatedly same thing again and again but never give us solution for the problem. more over they ask us to give five star rating for what they speak to us.
