Buying home insurance cover for a Thatched property is frustrating and very expensive unless you use Thatch Cover. The team are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. You do not feel they are working for the insurance company rather they are helping you get what you need as no two insurance specifications are the same. I recommend using them to people I know in the same situation.

A very clear and succinct explanation of the framework involved and the steps required to obtain the insurance.

It was easy to communicate and the staffing infrastructure allowed for some very competence support people to resolve issues when the main contact was unavailable.

Thatch cover was recommended to me by a chap I was working for. I dealt with a chap there called Kelvin who was really thorough, knowledgeable and patient with us. He got us a very good quote which we went with. They were great to deal with and we are happy to use a local company.

I have found Thatch Cover insurance specialists really straightforward to deal with, yes there are loads of questions as to the property but Alice keeps you in the picture every step of the way; a very on the case lady!
Very different to my previous insurer who says sorry Axa won’t insure thatched property any more, say they will offer another option asks loads of questions but fails to come back in time for the renewal date.

We contact Thatch Cover over the weekend and Alice call me first thing Monday morning to go through our insurance needs,I did renew with our previous insurer that we were with for 10years ! And when i had the quote back from Alice i could not believe the price difference she quoted. So i have cancel our current policy and now taken up a new policy with Thatch Cover.
