I had a disappointing experience with LGV Training Company. They misled me about the number of free attempts I could have for my theory test, claiming I had more than one when, in reality, it was just a single attempt. This kind of misinformation is frustrating and unprofessional.

Additionally, it's worth noting that they operate as an agency on behalf of the DVLA. This means they charge extra fees for services that we could easily handle ourselves, often at a lower cost. Overall, I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Save your time and money and look for more transparent options.

Alfie has been so supportive throughout my journey, he gave me so much reassurance and still kept believing in me even though it took me 18 months to complete my theory and test. Would recommend LGV if your training to be a parademic!

Save your money and go directly with a training school. They just take your money and couldnt care less about you or your career. way overpriced and the school charges around £300 for a retest but this company charges £500.

Abandon you after your theory and rob you of anything they can,

There's no price list on their website so they just decide to charge you what they think they can get out of you. It was okay until I'd done my theory, after this they stopped replying to their WhatsApp because they already had their money.

They also hard sold me a course called the NDQ (National driver qualification) I didn't know what this was at the time but they make sure they do it more than 14 days before your test so you can't get your money back after you realise you don't need it. They told me it had been all over the news and was recommended by the DVSA, no one I know has a clue what it is and I can't find anything on it online outside the website, the website doesn't even come up if you Google NDQ. As far I was aware it was also practical skills, but no you do it from home, why it takes almost a month after your test to sit is beyond me.

It's more than 14 days before I'd be doing it but apparently I'm not allowed my £199 back because I'm outside the cooling off period (because they told me I needed it so long ago) that I wasn't even told about. Don't get robbed of your money, go elsewhere

The NDQ MAY give you all this extra information but if it takes a month to be put on the course it's relatively useless. It's very expensive for 2 years CPC. My main issue was that I was mislead into purchasing it by one of their team messaging me that I needed to call about something "very important" he said that it was likely to come into force and become mandatory, employers are looking for this (they aren't, they don't know what it is) and some story all over the news about a driver and transport manager getting fired and fined being all over the news (it wasn't) to scare inexperienced drivers into paying for it so far in advance they can't get a refund when the time comes that they realise they never needed it in the first place.

I had to send you an email about being ignored which I titled "Being ignored" don't lie for internet points. It was great until I passed my theory then you only replied to my messages asking for the next thing to be booked, you weren't bothered about my questions in regards to things like what PPE I needed and what happens after the practical in regards to CV writing and jobs.

Update 2: I have had them now claim to trustpilot that the review wasn't about them, although they replied to the experience? And report it as being against trustpilots terms. You have 3 days to do this or your review gets taken down, so I imagine they're trying to take down all the bad reviews

The staff really put you at ease they are freindly and professional and know what they are talking about . My instructor was andy he was absolutely brilliant he tells you exactly what your doing right and what you need to brush upon he tells you honestly hes a really professional guy and thanks to him i passed first go thanks to all

Smoothly run and good lines of communication. Everything arranged for me with clear instructions and contact details. Patient and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and always provided quick and efficient support.
