Wouldn’t use this company again! Con’d out of £250 more and I’ll advised over the phone. If you go direct to training companies you will save money and get the right advise.
I asked to raise a complaint when I had paid and found trouble with dating / training to which I never received a call only emails asking me to type it rather than calling me. Safe to say I never got my complaint looked into.

Their reply states false information saying I was told certain things. Wrong, I was only told part of my answer infact I paid for a rigid licence when I actually need an artic!!! Useless company I’ll never deal again with or recommend. Go DIRECT to your training company not through these conveyer belt middle companies

I delt directly with Nick Lake, who was a great help, always there at the end of a phone call or an email. He was very helpful talking me through the hole process and organising my tests. Couldn’t recommend them enough for an easy experience.

When i enquired about hgv training i spoke to nick Lake he was very informative and gave me all the information I needed, everything went smoothly apart from arranging for the cpc due to short notice due to me working

A Soul-Crushing Scam - Left Me Depressed and Jobless
I am writing this from a place of deep regret to warn others. My experience with LGV Training Company has left me financially strained, unemployed, and deeply depressed. They are a pathetic company that preys on your dreams.

They charged me the full course fee, which included a theory test that I had already booked and paid for myself. They never offered a refund or adjustment for this, which felt like a blatant scam from the very start.

Their service was a masterclass in failure. They cancelled my test twice at the last minute with feeble excuses. The final straw was their heartless pettiness over training hours. After a cancellation, they promised two hours of training. When they rebooked, they only offered one. I had to fight them on multiple phone calls just to get what was promised. Arguing over a single hour after taking thousands of pounds shows their true, cold nature.

After I passed, instead of job help, they harassed me to buy another course. Their "employment support" was a sham—just a generic CV and links to public job sites like Indeed.

I am now two months post-pass, still unemployed, and sunk into depression because of this company. Do not make my mistake. Avoid these scammers at all costs. Go to a local, training-only school instead. Save your money and your mental health.

I am writing this follow-up review after receiving a direct response from The LGV Training Company on this platform. Their reply only confirmed my worst fears: they take zero responsibility for the actions of their instructors.
My initial complaint about the instructor's behavior was ignored. When my training was terminated by the instructor—an action that they now claim was justified—the company simply backed the instructor's word without any investigation.
The company's business model is now clear to me: you pay for a course, but once you do, the instructor has complete control. If they decide they don't want to continue, they can simply terminate your training, and you lose all your money.
Their message to me was simple: "We've been paid, and we've paid the school. You have no right to a refund. Your only option is to take legal action against us." This is not a professional service; it's a gamble where the customer always loses.
Please be warned. This company is unwilling to take accountability for its instructors or protect its paying customers. Don't let yourself be the next victim of their "no responsibility" policy.
