Rough handling and broken items received
Booked DTDC to deliver my cargo from London to Mumbai. Despite puting labels and writing on boxes 'EXTRA FRAGILE' DTDC has handled my boxes very very roughly and badly. One box was literally torn and they have wrapped in plastic the box .my expensive heritage lampshade and lot of crockery has been broken to pieces due to the rough handling. I spent literally more than INR 80,000 /£880k and received broken crockery. It was so badly handled that even my body cream tubes were cracked. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with my loss. NEVER EVER WILL I RECOMMEND DTDC TO ANYONE.

1000s Tamilnadu Engineers lost a good opportunity today UK contract
Our company in UK got big car parts repair contract with UK Car manufacturers and we did a test run sending parts ( Trial) This was fully tracked online and found cleared by Customs. We all happy that 1000s of Mechanical Engineering students will have jobs in Coimbatore but now come the disaster, someone called Dishan phoned up the receiver asking Rs 1000 for clearance now the manufacturer pulled out and said this would be cheaper in China. Imagine how many lives ruined by DTTC service. UK, US, Canada, EU parts are always been sent to China because of this unprofessional staff ruining others life.(Sorry Coimbatore )
Appalling service
Appalling service! The sheer scale of negative reviews on this website and others gives testimony to their incompetence. My letter was dispatched from Pondicherry (India) on the 7th of December 2023. After countless delays, it has been held up in Hub 5 Hinckley (UK)for over two and half weeks - since 16th December 2023. It is now the 2nd of January 2024. I have repeatedly called their customer service and received unacceptable, lame, and lazy excuses. In addition, I’ve sent numerous emails, but to no avail. As a result of their incompetence, I have lost a significant amount of money as the letter is an authorisation for an Indian visa. I will, therefore, not be able to travel to Chennai now, and I have already purchased a non-refundable flight ticket. Under no circumstance should you use this company. Not surprisingly, I cannot provide any recommendations/ feedback to the company on how they can improve their service. My only recommendation is that it cease all operations or merge with a competent company.

A Terrible Experience that Reflects Incompetence and Disregard for Customers!
To say I am disappointed with the service provided by Aramex and DTDC would be an understatement. I recently had a parcel dispatched from Mumbai to Leeds, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating, disheartening, and infuriating.
Despite having confirmation that my parcel arrived in London on the 30th of July, it is now the 9th of August, and I am still without any clue as to its whereabouts. The silence is deafening, as my numerous attempts to reach out to their customer service have been met with the monotonous tone of an automated voice, constantly repeating that all their lines are busy. An international courier service with ALL lines occupied? This seems less like a coincidence and more like a deliberate act of avoidance.
The Mumbai office, where my parents handed over the parcel, has been equally unhelpful. Rather than providing clear answers or some semblance of guidance, they've been met with vague responses and shrugged shoulders. Such an attitude not only showcases a lack of professionalism but also a sheer absence of concern for the very customers they claim to serve.
After parting with my hard-earned money for their "service", I am left feeling duped and inconvenienced. Waiting for more than two weeks for a delivery that should have been routine is unacceptable, to say the least.
Aramex and DTDC, this isn't just about a delayed parcel; it's about the erosion of trust, a breach of commitment, and a glaring testimony to your inadequacies. This experience has firmly solidified my decision never to use your services again. To anyone reading this, save yourself the agony and look elsewhere.

Driver make false statements that no one recognised parcel and make cancel delivery while they. just drive around the city for fun.
Poor service and tracking and Inept customer care
Item was small packet couriered from Nepal to UK on 7 March. Appallingly tracking shows doc prepared UK Lobdo. since March 12 and no change fir last 8 days. No phone tracking. Simply appalling still no sign of dispatch from London for last 8 days. Postal service would be more efficient than thus courier.
Super unprofessional DTDC agents
I really think that DTDC is a large enough company, that it should verify the dealers who have been representing the company its behalf. My experience with the below mentioned service provider has been absolutely poor. They have sent the material which was broken and nonetheless they haven't even issued an invoice which is preventing me from putting an expense claim with my company. If someone can help, it would be great.

my first time experience to use DTDC…
my first time experience to use DTDC service. after reading a few of the bad reviews I was reluctant to use this company. but To my surprise I was amazed with the services and the employees. I was very lucky to got in touch with this very kind gentleman Abdul . Abdul is amazing very supportive and helpful till the time my parcel arrived in India. The staff is very helpful.i will definitely use the Company DTDC AGAIN.
Utterly awful and heartbreaking
Utterly awful and heartbreaking. So my folks had sent a Diwali parcel from Mumbai to be couriered to the UK. The business literally shipped it from Mumbai to Delhi! was in Delhi for around 5 working days before being sent to the United Kingdom Meanwhile, customer service was simply atrocious and useless.
When I called, I was put on hold for nearly 2 hours. It's the seventh working day and it still hasn't arrived. Well, hopefully before next Diwali, it will.
I strongly advise against sending a courier through this firm to prevent the inevitable disappointment.

They will try their best to scam you on customs charges. Ask for proof if they're charging you too much!
Sent a parcel to India through DPD, which then got picked up with DTDC India. I was honest on the customs note and wrote that it was a grooms wedding outfit (being sent for alterations) and gave it a realistic cost of replacement. DTDC then tried to charge me the maximum customs charges possible, which ended up being 80% of the value (into the £100s!!!)
DTDCs customer disservice department was rude at best, and harassing at worst. DTDC called every number available to them, recipient and sender included harassing us for payment (DPD explained the sender can't legally pay for customs, yet I got two calls from them demanding payment). When I asked to explain why the charge is so high I was told the government decides the customs charge to levy, and when I asked for proof I was emailed a "customs invoice" with DTDCs letterhead and logo on it, showing the maximum amount being levied for all taxes that could remotely apply!
Eventually, two weeks later I asked for what categorisation the clothing falls under, and proof on a government website showing the customs rates applicable for such category, and magically the item was delivered a few days later with no reply to my question and no customs charge applied.
Obviously the outfit has a lot of emotional attachment to it, as well as a deadline to get it altered and sent back, I imagine other people would have fallen to the pressure and paid. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the company.

It was the worst experience i ever had with a courier company.....i booked my consignment on Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm and was promised that it will be delivered the very next day i e on Saturday......i had opted an express service.. as my consignment had eatables ..
Inspite of paying the express delivery fee ,courier was delivered on Tuesday morning ....wherein all the eatables had gone bad

I have ordered my courier import from Kolkata on 31/01/22 and got the delivery by DTDC on 03/02/22 which is an excellent service. Everything I have received in in intact condition.

Bharat, was really very supportive and made it so easy for me. Pickup and drop of my boxes was very smooth. He went extra-mile and got it delivered the same day I asked him to deliver.
