The customer service was brilliant, the tutor support I received was great and always clear on what I needed to do. The course was clear in what was needed and very straight forward to complete. The pack I received at the start of my course was excellent too!

Customer service was excellent. The resources were in-depth and provided lots of information. The tutor support I received was fantastic and if I had a query it was answered with a few days allowing me to continue studying.

After home schooling in lockdown, I found a passion in teaching and didn't know where to start. I found a course at open college and decided to give it ago. The monthly payment option is exactly what I needed and I completed my first course ahead of the deadline. The customer service I had was outstanding for setting my payment up and to confirm placement and course completion was incredible, loved how they congratulated me, gave me a huge boost of confidence.
I didnt realise until level there are help sheet examples available and it's been very helpful going forward on my level 2 assignments. I like the speed the tutor responds, however it is sometimes difficult with getting answers if your stuck on a question. Sometimes before getting an answer I've figured it and handed in the completed work. Without the full hands on tutor approach it can be difficult to judge if your going in the right direction but 99% of the time I was. My only negative I would really talk about is on feedback having notes about mentioning covid. I understand this but with the generic question and even researching online covid is not mentioned as its not asking about covid its just illness in general. But all in all, fantastic experience and I'm so happy to have my certificate. I have 6 months to complete my next course, but I'd imagine il have finished that by Easter if not before.


The best part of all is learning at my own pace, I work 20 hrs a week and I'm a full time single mum to a crazy 7 year old so not having short pressured deadlines was a must for me to learn again!

Whether the qualifications will eventually be accepted within the school, I dont know but what i know is, I've learnt so much if I have to resit courses for correct qualifications il pass them with a breeze.

The lesson plans and structure were very clear and easy to understand. Wish there was slightly more tutor support but overall, happy with my course.

Was worried I may struggle doing an online course without the help and guidance of face to face but my online tutor was very helpful and answered any questions I had. I passed the course and am now onto my second course highly recommend.

Really intresting courses and a very good college to learn at home. All of the staff and tutors are very supportive. I will recomended to those students who can learn the courses from home this is the best college.

Really interesting course and gave a good introduction to all aspects of Autism. Very quick response with feedback from course tutor and easily understood comments and suggestions. Very positive comments given when applicable and gave a clear indication as to how I was doing .

I enrolled onto a Teaching Assistant course with UK open college, their support was invaluable, advice and information given to me prior to enrolling helped me to make the right decision in not only who to complete my course with, but also selecting the correct course for my needs. I was fully supported by my Assessor throughout my training and even secured a job as a Teaching Assisting at the end of my course with no previous qualifications in this field. Always on the end of a email when needed, or phone always called back even when I didn't leave a message. After a negative experience with distance learning I was apprehensive doing it again but these guys have changed my mind on distance learning definitely recommend them.

Uk open college were fantastic from the start. I had an issue with the course material when it was sent to me, this was rectified straight away. The course was easy to access and complete. Any questions I had where answered by the helpline they were very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help. A few times I had to leave a message for a call back, I was pleasantly surprised when I was called back promptly within an hour and again I received the help I needed. Overall an excellent experience, I have the exact qualification I needed to progress in my job and I now also have the promotion I was hoping for. Thanks ukopencollege. I have used uk open college previously so decided to use them again. Assignments come back within 5 days which is brilliant. Coursework was easy to follow.
Only gripe was that my online student support was for my previous course, not my current one. This wasn’t changed over at all in the 12 months.

This was my very first course I've done and it was a good course for me to learn the basics of childcare. The tutor was helpful as I didn't know how to send my assignment in. However, when i was reading the booklet there was quite a lot of spelling and punctuation errors which made me question the professionalism of the course and whether they have staff that read through the booklet to check if they have any errors.

Very pleased about the support given. The website it is easy to use and the course material elaborated.

I have just received my certificate to confirm having passed my Level 4 HLTA course with UK Open College and would just like to say how happy I have been with the whole process.
Having started the course before Covid struck, I was faced with school closures which affected the practical parts of my course. UK Open College couldn't have been more helpful with allowing me to extend the course and my tutor provided timely, constructive feedback and praise for my assignments which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, I would highly recommend UK Open College to anyone looking for a training provider.

I recently completed the TQUK Level 3 Dip in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (RQF) The college were so supportive during a difficult time to study. I was granted extra time where needed because of school lockdowns and there was always help available from the tutor or the help desk. Bill on the helpdesk was especially brilliant and so friendly and supportive.
