I have never experienced such horrible treatment from an airline as I did with Volaris. I originally purchased round-trip tickets from Tijuana CBX to Los Cabos and back, selecting my seats and receiving confirmation. But when I arrived at the airport, they claimed they couldn’t find my outbound flight reservation—even though the money had already been withdrawn from my account!

I had no choice but to purchase another last-minute flight to Los Cabos, which was an extra, unexpected cost. Volaris assured me my return flight was confirmed, and I had already picked my seats, so I trusted them. But this was just the beginning of the nightmare.

When it was time to fly back home on my 6 PM flight (which I specifically booked because my family was on the same plane), I arrived at the airport only to be told my return flight was canceled. Again, I had paid, picked seats, and received confirmation, but they still canceled it for no reason.

Volaris falsely claimed there was an issue with my debit card, even though the money was already taken from my account. And to make things worse, they didn’t fully refund me, so I couldn’t even rebook another flight!

The worst part? When I asked what I was supposed to do, the Volaris agent rudely told me I need to figure it out i suggested am i supposed to sleep at the airport—but warned me I’d be kicked out. No solutions, no help, no responsibility. I was stranded, with no money for a hotel, taxi, or flight with another airline.

Volaris offered NOTHING—no assistance, no refund, no rebooking. They put me through unnecessary stress, anxiety, and financial loss for something that was THEIR mistake.

⚠️ DO NOT FLY WITH VOLARIS! They will take your money, cancel your flight without explanation, and leave you stranded. Find any other airline!

I am highly disappointed with my experience with Volaris. They unilaterally canceled my flight, which completely disrupted my travel plans. As a direct result of their actions, I had to purchase a new ticket on the same flight, which ended up costing me significantly more than the credit they offered as compensation. This situation could have been avoided if Volaris had handled things properly.

Volaris should reimburse me for my financial loss due to their incompetence. My recommendation is clear: I cannot endorse Volaris and will not be using their services again. I intend to share my experience with all my friends, advising them against traveling with Volaris, as they can cancel flights without any notice or explanation.

I have documented all communications, including my agreement with Ivan regarding a change in the departure time. I plan to post these details on social media to ensure others know the risks of flying Volaris. I am truly frustrated by Volaris's lack of effective support in resolving the issues they created.

The worst customer service. Planes are dirty! Staff is rude! If you can avoid this airline, do!!!! Not worth it! They charge you for everything. They were even going to charge just to speak to someone! Horrible service!!!!!

reserve hace un par de semanas y me dieron una reservacion, al intentar hacer checkin la clave de reservacion es diferente, ahora llevo mas d euna hora tratando de obtener mi pase de abordar, su pagina me trae a vuelta y vuelta, y no ne deja avanzar, los contacte en whatsapp y sin respuesta, ahora en el telefono y me dan su aviso de privacidad una y otra vez sin contactarme con un asesor

Compagnie aérienne à fuir. J'avais réservé un vol interne entre Cancun et Mexico. La compagnie n'a pas cessé de déprogrammer et reprogrammer son vol, ce qui peut poser souci quand vous avez des correspondances ou un voyage programmé. Au final, ma mère ayant été hospitalisée quelques jours avant le départ et étant ensuite décidée, j'ai dû annuler le vol la veille de la date prévue. Le site internet de la compagnie aérienne ne fonction pas et vous n'avez pas moyen de la contacter.
J'ai ensuite ouvert un dossier de remboursement avec l'assurance de ma carte bancaire puisque ces cas de force majeur le permettent. La compagnie m'a demandé un justificatif de la compagnie mentionnant le prix payé et le fait que je n'ai pas obtenu de remboursement de volaris, ce qui était le cas. Volaris m'a répondu qu'elle ne pouvait fournir ce document.
Aucune service après-vente, c'est juste du vol.

Me hicieron perder mucho dinero y tienen personal nefasto, el gerente de Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, y sus ayudantes Araceli y Leticia son peor que nada, perdi mi vuelo junto con mi esposa y mi mascota, por sus indicaciones errones y no hicieron nada por resolver, espero la matriz se haga responsable de sus empleados tan mal preparados, el Gerente prefierio esconderse a resolver, se llego a tiempo a la documentación y por sus polainas no me dejaron tomar el vuelo, esperen acciones legales.

Aqui te cobran hasta por respirar. Pagamos por 3 de maletas más de 500 dlls. y ni siquiera se pasaron de peso será la últimas vez que viajemos por Volaris

Fraud: did not honor assigned seats which were an extra charge, and then refused to refund the extra cost.
Staff was rude. They loudly socialized on a red eye flight. Loudly talking and laughing the entire flight - with each other. The far overstaffed flight attendants made no attempt to interact with customers.
Gate announcements at the us departure were only in Spanish.
1st boarding group was almost the entire flight and was not chosen by seat assignment.

Recomiendo no son responsables no tienen servicio al cliente solo contesta una agente virtual no te contesta ninguna pregunta hace poco viajaron unos familiares compré 2maletas y me cobraron 4 la señorita que me atendió en check in me dijo llame ala aerolínea y le devolverán el dinero yo dejaré una nota aquí del herror resulta que no se puede comunicar con ellos por ningún medio hice queja en el banco y ahí si contestaron y dijeron que no devuelven nada por no hay problema les aconsejo que no viajen esta aerolínea a mí hizo perder $220 puro fraude

I don't give them any stars at all, they are horrible, customer service is horrible, not helpful at all, cheap flights yeah but they treat you like shit, son una bola de mañosos porque todo es dinero para ellos. Nunca en mi vida volveria con ellos y les recomiendo no tampoco lo hagan ustedes, servicio totalmente decepcionado

Volaris al inicio era buena opción pero las experiencias que he tenido son las que me da horror volar con ellos a pesar de ser la única ruta disponible de SJC BJX.
Mencionaré las que me ha hecho:
No me dejó volar con mi gato teniendo todo, y 2 transportadoras con las medidas, no saben cual si es aceptada y cual no,
en un viaje familiar pagamos todos asientos para ir juntos, pues los desgraciados nos separaron una vez abordando, y cobraron por que la mochila según era grande, cuando no llevábamos cosas habíamos venido a un funeral de mi padre.
en otras ocaciones he visto como gente quiere documentar maletas y ya no les dejan regresarlas a usa por las dimensiones, en otras ocaciones nos dejan hasta 10 horas para abordar sobretodo en el aeropuerto nefasto de PVR. Ahorita he querido usar Volaris para ir a visitar pero con todo lo que he experimentado tengo horror volar con ellos.

Sind im Dezember 2024 mit der Airline innerhalb von Mexico geflogen. Die Airline verteilt keine Sitzgurte und Schwimmweste für Babies!!!! Daher unbedingt zu meiden.
Koffer wurde zudem auch verloren und das Personal der Airline am Flughafen wusste nicht, wie man einen Verlust Report erstellt. Koffer haben wir am Schluss aber erhalten

Mi familia me envió una captura de pantalla de mis tickets, es decir, yo no tenía ninguno de los detalles de compra. Seguramente ellos tampoco. Vieron un "precio accesible" y sin revisar lo compraron. Error, ya sé.
Resultó que no tenía incluido equipaje más que una pequeña bolsa de mano.
Durante el abordaje que dura más de una hora, me señalaron otras cosas, pero nadie me dijo nada del equipaje que estaba a la vista, hasta que estaba abordando. "Tiene que pagar el equipaje", "¿Pero por, dónde dice eso?", "¡Ah pues en la parte que le cortó al boleto!"... "¿O sea asume que quise evadirlo?, ¿por qué he estado aquí más de una hora y me lo dicen en el último minuto?" "el vuelo está por cerrar, lo paga o pierde el vuelo". Ya con toda la presión encima pagué los dos equipajes de mano: el backpack de mi bebé de 4 años, el mío y una maleta de ruedas de 8k. Ya en Miami pedí a mi familia la información de los tickets y sí incluía un artículo personal pequeño, es decir, no debí pagar lo de mi hijo. Y nadie me dijo nada. Solicité la aclaración y primero, siguen asumiendo que fue descuido mío. Después dijeron que sí correspondía el pago. Después que no hay reembolso en servicios adicionales, solo me pueden generar un descuento por esa cantidad para futuras situaciones. ¡Un absurdo! No vivo en México, no creo volver pronto y si lo hago no pienso usar esta línea de microbuses aéreos. Auxilio. Quiero recuperar mis 91 dólares.

Horrendous experience. They bumped out 20 passengers “for windy conditions “ which was a total lie. There was very little wind. Maybe they wanted to use the weight restrictions in order to increase cargo? They separated our family and refused to pay hotels for stranded passengers. Someone we met at the gate had been cancelled twice before finally making it.
They don’t even give water for free.

I can't really evaluate the flight service of this company because i am not even able to purchase a ticket. Every time i visite the site, the site crashes and this has been going on for months now. It's a mistery to me how an airline can still be in business with such a shitty homepage in 2024. I won't buy with them, i will buy with their competitors VIVA which seems more decent.
