And the saga continues ….. had an email response due to the first Trustpilot review below …… we gave them the information required (3rd time of doing so) and …… you guess it ….nothing. We are told Customer Service can not even contact their own Installation Managers to get them to correct the appalling workmanship…..

Spent £25k on a kitchen in March, started work in July and still not completed ..... Showroom Design Manager visited home to see the poor workmanship and unfinished areas, but has no authority to help nor can the Showroom Manager ( honest this is what they said ...happy to take the money though)!!!, Now pushed on the Customer Service team who acknowledge the issues from the reports and photos - but don't have any authority to do anything - Apparently its the Installation Mangers responsibility to sort out issues - no one else's .... but the Installation Manager doesn't respond to any emails or contact ..... No one at Wicks will take any responsibility or ownership, no one rings back or gives us updates, everyone says there are issues to sort and promises they will do what they can - but we never get a call back and we simply have to start again with whoever answers the phone when we call every week !! .... Awful experience, Awful communication, Awful company .... £25K on a dream kitchen which is now a nightmare !!

The fences have slats and they are falling down so I have least privacy
Contacted wicks who in a nut shell said it wasn’t guaranteed against this happening they blamed the manufacturer
my former fence which was over20years old but this didn’t happen to that it was also the same design

I am nearly 82 years old and I didn’t think I would have to replace the fence it looks terrible in fact I would give wicks no stars at all
Bought a new kitchen and had it fitted…
Bought a new kitchen and had it fitted by Wicks. The fitting went well which is for the 1 star.
Between 6- 12 months the top started to bubble where the drainer sits by the sink. Contacted wicks who sent the fitter back took a couple of poor photos and left.
Contacted customer services as they didn't bother, who hadn't done anything so after prompting Contacted the the supplier who said it was heat transference without any investigation, I explained that it was nowhere near any heat source and the were required to investigate further but they just ignored me and stuck be this decision. No investigation, poor communication, different people getting involved who clearly had no idea and you know you were on to a looser. Will never recommend Wicks kitchens, once they have your money they don't want to know....
AVOID WICKS
This is the first time I have ever bothered writing a review! Please avoid WICKS. After a short time after our kitchen was installed, unsightly veneer chips began to appears on a number of panels. The mechanism in our corner unit also failed - leading to the the unit not opening or closing. The local rep (Ben) visited our property and supported our claim and advised we contacted Wicks via their website, which we did. The Wicks fitter (Brian) also agreed that the corner unit was faulty. However, after numerous emails, our claim was denied and we were recommended to liaise with Citizen Advice Bureau. Head office made decisions without reviewing the evidence, we felt their goal was to grind us down and to find any excuse to avoid liability. Eventually, WICKS did grind us down. The ongoing claim began to affect our mental health, we walked away from our claim and are left with an unsightly kitchen and a corner unit that we can't use. We are a couple in our late 50's, no crazy kitchen parties or toddlers bashing into the units. We believe the product WICKS sold us was not fit for purpose. Please don't make the same mistake we made. Avoid WICKS - we wished we had!

Vister wicks Aintree Liverpool, met Mark bathroom designer, home vist then designed our lovely bathroom , he was very patient from start to finish , them we had a vist from Adam the bathroom fitter, after a couple of small issues ,Adam did a great job , while we went on holiday , but keeps us informed throughout , it only took a week too , thank you very much Mark and Adam not forgetting Vinny too 😀 also very save and trusting towards Adam to leave a key while we were away too 😀 thank thank to you all .

Never,never buy a Kitchen from Wicks £19,000 worth of nightmares from day one warranty, guarantee, customer service non existent, cowboy contractors, no one at wicks wanted to know there head office management just cut me off and I was very polite all the time but it got me nowhere now we have a total sub standard Kitchen please, please buy elsewhere
New Complete Kitchen From Wicks at Midsomer Norton Branch.
Mr Alan Bartlett ,the Kitchen designer was excellent and was very supportive from the start to the completion of my kitchen. I was very nervous about having a new kitchen as it was the first time I have had to make all the decisions on my own but Alan supported me all the way ,assuring me and giving me sound advice. I really don’t think I could have seen it through without all of his support so thank you Alan. The kitchen fitter Mr Richard Edwards was also excellent and fitted my kitchen in a very professional manner. He was very punctual and hard working often staying late and often having very short breaks if any. Wicks are very luckily to have such a loyal ,reliable worker to carry out the fitting of kitchens . Richard should feel proud of his high standard of work. So thank you Richard. The disappointment was the Sheridan work top company . In the first instant I was informed of the day the fitters were coming but they did not turn up or get in touch to tell me that they weren’t coming which I thought was extremely rude. Then when they turned up two weeks later with the worktops they didn’t bring the sink so we’re unable to fit the tops ,which meant I was without any water in the kitchen , and unable to use my washing machine. Customer services were informed and a further promise of a second visit was arranged but I was let down again so still No running water or washing machine facilities in the kitchen. I wouldn’t have felt so let down had I not checked the day before only to be assured that they were definitely coming. Finally the fitters were promised for the Thursday of the following week but the day before a fitter rang and asked if it was convenient for him to come with two of his colleagues on the Friday. When I asked him why they weren’t coming on the Thursday as promised he said that he didn’t know anything about it as he had just got back from his holiday and had a message asking him if he could come on the Friday.I said please remember the sink this time and he told me he would enquire about the sink and would probably pick it up on his way. The only reason I can think of for the unreliability was lack of communication which I felt was really unacceptable. However when the fitters finally came they were quick and efficient but that is the reason and the only reason that I felt let down and unable to award five stars.
Absolutely dreadful customer service…
Absolutely dreadful customer service from Wickes at Martlesham Heath. I tried to exchange an item that I had brought a couple of weeks prior. I was not asking for money back - I had picked up the wrong item and wanted to exchange it for the correct one. I had lost the receipt, however, the item was still sealed and branded. The staff member was rude and officious and their customer services department not much better. I will never buy anything from Wickes again.

Rang York branch orders loft flooring in picture it is green coloured when it was delivered one board was green the rest just buff .spoke to a very rude manageress who said well it’s only going in your loft.which actually it isn’t .

I am writing to say thanks to Connaire McCarron who is working at Wickes Customer Services.
Recently I ordered timber from Wicks, which included two pack of "Wickes Treated Sawn Timber - 22 x 150 x 2400mm - Pack of 4". After received the delivery, I noticed surface of one pack of the timber was poor, and I reported this to the Customer Services.
Connaire McCarron was the staff dealing with my enquiry, and did a fantastic job: replying to my emails promptly; giving me choices for replacement or returning & refunding; and making arrangement quickly for delivery of the replacement and collection of the faulty timber pack. The whole process was quicker than I expected.
Connaire also kept my enquiry open and made sure I received the timber on time and was happy with its quality.
We are human beings and can make mistakes. I like the good Wicks staff Connaire, who could transfer my first upset to later happiness.
I will continue to buy my DIT items at Wicks.
Ordered bags of topsoil and gravel
Ordered bags of topsoil and gravel. Had to be in bags as I am disabled. Delivery came and it was kerbside, nothing saying at the time of ordering that iw would be a kerbside Delivery. Unfortunately I had to refuse delivery as I am not able to carry the bags from the kerb to the garden. After I called and spoke to am extremely rude lady on customer care, who begrudgingly gave me my refund, only to find they have kept the delivery fee. Am fighting to get the delivery fee refunded as I would not have ordered k owing it was a kerbside delivery. However reading all these reviews, am not holding out for much hope of this happening. Had previously excellent service when ordered gravel only from them but will not be using this company again unless they can convince me that thus was a one off and get my full refund.

Poor customer service
We had a kitchen designed and fitted by Wickes. I'm happy with it now but we had endless issues with it from start to finish. The designer got a window measurement wrong so the fitters couldn't fit one of the wine racks which obviously we've paid for. Also, because of the design of the cabinet doors we were unable to have internal draws installed which obviously we also paid for. They are now sitting in our conservatory along with the wine rack and a whole length of worktop that wasn't used because of poor design again. Obviously all the stuff that weren't used we've paid for. I tried getting our money back through contacting customer services via email and phone but they said we have to go back to the store and talk to the designer and it's the stores discretion. We tried contacting the designer but he didn't return our calls. They even said at one point that we'd have to pay to return anything! We also have about 3 cabinet doors left over as they sent wrong replacement ones. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not one is because the fitters were brilliant. I can't fault them at all and we do at least have a nice kitchen at the end of it all but it took 3 months to complete because of waiting for replacement doors. I won't be using Wickes for big projects again!
