Purchased a pair of Caterpillar Elmore Safety Trainers via Workwear Gurus at just under £100, spending more than I normally do as I was expecting good quality due to the brand name. how wrong was I?
Despite wearing them for only 4 months in a not-particularly hard-wearing environment (Goods in department in a garden centre) they both started to come apart inside at the heel which resulted in extreme discomfort.
Contacted Caterpillar directly stating that they were purchased through another website and were coming apart and they requested photographic proof. After sending them the proof they responded stating that they could not assist as they were not purchased directly from Caterpillar - begs the question why did I have to go to the trouble of taking photos and send them proof of damage in the first place??? Total waste of my time!
Then contacted Workwear Gurus and then again went through the whole process of sending proof of purchase along with various photos. They then responded stating that they would contact Caterpillar regarding the issue directly (uh oh!!) who in-turn declined the claim stating that the damage 'had not been caused by a manufacturing fault'! So I can only assume that Caterpillar are admitting that the damage had been caused by POOR QUALITY. It certainly wasn't caused by my feet or the environment I work in!
I was offered 10% discount if I was to buy another product from them but declined their offer and purchased a pair from a supplier who offered a 6 month warranty.
Following from submitting this review, I was immediately contacted by Workwear Gurus who were not only extremely apologetic for the issues I had experienced but also issued me with a store credit equalling the cost of the shoes plus and additional 10% discount on my next order. To me this level of customer service has gone above and beyond my expectations and Workwear Gurus should be very proud. I would not hesitate in buying from them again, just so long as it is not a Caterpillar product!

I bought a pair of safety boots in October last year and about two weeks ago I noticed they had broken. Although the initial delivery took about a week, I received a confirmation email at the time.
I reached out to their customer service regarding the issue and within a week they sent me a replacement pair of boots.
The staff were extremely kind, responded promptly, and even offered some helpful tips.
I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Work trouser purchase. Product different to the picture. Requested refund. Over 10 e mails and a threat from me to refer to Trading Standards. Getting on for a month and still no refund. Buying from Workwear Gurus is the worst online purchase that I have ever endured. As a result I would never ever purchase from the company again.
And finally, there is no way that I would remotely recommend your Workwear Gurus to anyone else. In fact, I would actively warn everyone to avoid your company going forward.
Your company should be hanging it's head in deep shame. This last bit sounds like the review that I will be leaving. 1 star. If I could award a zero as a review I would.
UPDATE. 28th Jan 2025. A week later. I've e just spoken to the MD, Chris Gamlin, a couple of times now as he is unhappy with how things went.
To give him his due he did investigate and apologised. I asked for a refund of the 2 hours of my time that's it's taken dealing with them. That didn't take into account the hassle and stress. He wouldn't do that but offered a smaller credit on my account against a future purchase plus 10%. We are talking about a difference of £26 to sort this. If i went with his offer of 10% to get the difference back for my time I'd need to spend another £260!! I declined his offer and agreed to just leave it and thanked him. His response was that he would respond to this feedback and leave a negative review about my own company as I'd left them one. How would you feel? Im feeling a little threatened by them. As I said, you may wish to not to use Workwear Gurus. I give up.
On reading their response it states that I requested compensation " in order to remove my review". At no point would i ever remove a review. Again, it reflects my experience of this company. I was offered compensation "if" I removed the review. Something not allowed on Trustpilot.
Timings are correct. The refund took longer than stated. I was also charged postage to return the item. I had to request a seperate refund for this.

Ordered work trousers about 2 weeks ago and have not been given any update as to when I should expect my parcel.
I was promised updates along with a tracking number but neither of these have been given.
Their website did not mention I would have to wait so long as if it had I would never have ordered from them
Ridiculously long wait in this day and age.
However, their communication is good and they respond very swiftly to emails, even called me to explain so although I'm not happy with the long wait, I do think the customer service is really good.
Ordered works pants coming up to 3 weeks ago. Chased them up twice and still no parcel.
Keep being told it should arrive, but had no email confirmation or update on my order that I placed

I bought a raincoat from these guys and it leaked after first use. Although the product wasn’t good the customer service was very good. They got another coat sent out to me in good time which I’m yet to test. Communication in dealing with the problem couldn't be faulted and for that reason I would use them again.

Brought a £100 pair of work boots. The money has been taken from the account
No confirmation email or delivery of goods. Contacted customer service (no actual phone number) was told no orders under my email address and to take it up with my bank. Cannot use my actual delivery address or any other details of mine, only email. I am now left £100 down and no boots. Won’t be using these for the rest of my staff equipment.
