Nickled and dime to death.
Nickled and dime to death.
And Allegiant won't give me easy access to my boarding pass on my phone without downloading an app. They may be a cheap airlines, but they aren't worth the cost.

When I got to the airport there was no one at the luggage counter to grab my checked bags that I paid for. So I had to bring them all through security. By the time I got to the terminal two teenage girls wouldn’t let me on the flight claiming I was late when it was still grounded. They would not refund my $266. The manager was super rude & unprofessional. I went back to the bag counter & this blonde just treated me like a loiterer when I was trying to get my refund & told me to leave the counter. Not only did these generic Charlie’s night banshees ruin my vacation & my business trip, I was inconvenienced my 10 year vacation that took weeks to plan along with hundreds of dollars for hotels with no resolution other than ”Your money is forfeited” from their customer service rep. Who clearly had no idea what she was doing after an excruciating painful wait time on hold. I had to wait hours for a cab because it was after a Packer game & they were the only cab in town. I emailed their customer service and got the same canned response. I asked repeatedly for a legal representation which they constantly dodged. Worst experience ever. I do not plan on, or recommend flying with this company ever. Spend the extra money & use a reputable airline that will actually let you on the flight you paid for instead of an off brand that profits & takes advantage of the average man. Stain shame & dishonor amongst these thieves.
It was Very good
First Overall, we flew from Indianapolis to Los Angeles. The woman named Alexis What is the working at the front counter? She was incredible. Not only did she check us in but she helped us with our baggage. We had a carry-on that had to be put under the plane. She didn’t charge us saved us $75.
Allegiant canceled my return flight…
Allegiant canceled my return flight home, they blamed it on bad weather 🤔 even though there were no reports of bad weather in the region I was traveling. Therefore they said I wasn’t entitled to any refund/credit. Even though a link, that was provided in the text informing me that flight was cancelled, said I would receive a refund. So think twice about choosing this airline!
Purchased ticket online and spoke to agent on phone
Purchased ticket online, set up wheel chair and ADA assistance for our disabled son. Then 24 hours before flight, called Allegiant again to confirm ADA assistance on plane and wheel chair assistance getting to the gate. When we got to the ticketing counter, the woman was so rude. I asked her to read the notes provided by the telephone agent that we spoke to, and her 1st response was that she wasn't in the reservation yet. Then a minute later she started in on us not having boarding passes printed. I then assertively asked her to again read the notes, which must have set her off, because she basically scolded me in front of these other people waiting in line, then refused to even look or speak to me further. Once my wife asked the same question, about the notes, the lady at least spoke to her and said there were no notes in the system. How in the hell can you set up assistance online, and again over the phone, and Allegiant still couldn't get the info straight. The ticket lady, or woman, because she certainly didn't act like a lady, even tried to charge us the $5 per gate pass, even though the companies policy is to waive that fee for handicapped individuals. Just a complete mess, a rude employee, and failed assistance for our disabled child. I know I know, cheap airline, expect this type of service. WRONG!! Whether you charge $100 per flight or $1000 per flight, customer service should not be price driven. Treat everyone equally, and the disabled better. F U Allegiant!
Crap service
First of all, on hold for more than 2 hours in 2 days trying to get in touch with a human. and then never have I ever dealt with customer service reps who are so rude. Not ever in my life. and their policy of not price changing is ridiculous. I booked a flight for 180 which is now 110 & they will do nothing about it. Last flight for me on this airline coming up. I'd rather pay more to be treated as a person. Looks like more than 75% are negative reviews. They should be out of business by next year
Beware of booking hotel with flights
Allegiant will not refund any portion of either the flight or hotel bookings if cancellations are not due to a verifiable illness or other major reason. I now have a voucher for over $700 and no refund to my CC.
I will not book hotel reservations with Allegiant in the future.
Our room reservation was for more than 30 days out, so this was not a last minute cancellation.

Paid for our family tickets for our trip. Never received notice they cancelled our flight. I am trying to get our money refunded. Bought in April… still no refund. Talking with their so called “customer service “ is like banging your head on a wall.
Your customer service is awful
Your customer service is awful. I am usually an adament supporter of Allegiant and tell everyone to use you but I just spent 3 days trying to book a BOGO airfare. Endless hours on hold and your call back service never called me back. It COST ME HUNDREDS in additional airfare and car rental cost as the prices increased significantly from when I started to actually booking. You should be crediting that difference when it is due to your understaffed call center and faulty call back service.
At the end of the day my trip cost the same as if I didn't use BOGO a few days earlier with way less frustration.
Update. They couldnt make the credit card(their card) work and blamed it on bank of america. After calling the bank it was on allegiants end so back to calling in AGAIN🤬
Flight delayed and then Canceled
We had a flight that was delayed three times and then Canceled .Algiant gave us a full refund for both tickets and I had two checks in hand within less than two weeks.
We rescheduled another flight, and it was a 2.5 hour flight.Everyone was extremely nice and professional , I felt valued as a Customer and would definitely fly with them again and recommend Allegiant.
Happy customer,John and Linda Dinielli Sunrise,FL
THE WORST
Where the minus 100 star option?
So yesterday I was dropped off to Plattsburgh NEW YORK airport from Montreal, CA for a flight booked 2 weeks prior.
When I arrived, other passengers like me were upset and left stranded because the airline decided to move our departure airport to Burlington, VERMONT, located an hour an a half away. Mind you weather was NOT the culprit. It was madness.
So I ended up having to book another flight for this morning since nothing else was available at the last minute.
I called to airline to see about compensation for hotel or even a meal but they did nothing to help amd show sympathy for this major inconvenience outside of the additional last minute spending in order to male it hone.
I slept on the floor at the airport. Because of Allegiant I'm till alrravelibg and will not reach FL Not until 4 Pm when I was originally scheduled to arrive home at 6 pm yesterday.
Save yourself the trouble. DO NOT USE. They'll not assist nor compensate in any way after creating havoc in your travel plans. That was my first and last attempt at using them. Unbelievably unfair way to treat the people who make this airline possible. No customers no airline but they don't get it.
Bundle Deals
Looked for a good deal to Vegas, airfare and hotel. Read the fine print. RESORT FEE was charged to me when I checked OUT. The amount was not disclosed at booking, after booking or check in at the partnered hotel. Flamingo. imo it's deceptive a practice.
What an awful experience trying to book…
What an awful experience trying to book on the Allegiant website : every trick in the book to try and upsell- and then at the last minute -suddenly the fare I selected was no longer available and the price 20% higher. What a scam. Awful experience
THEY COULD USE SOME HELP WITH CUSTOMER…
THEY COULD USE SOME HELP WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE, LOOKS LIKE MANAGEMENT COMES OUT AND NOT CARE THAT SOMEONE IS BEING HELPED, THEY JUST INTERUPT BEFORE I COULD GET CHECKED IN. EATING AT THE COUNTER IN CONVERSATION WHILE CUSTOMERS JUST WAIT TO BE CALLED UP. ONE GUY YELLED AT A CUSTOMER AND WAS VERY RUDE. TO OF THE EMPLOYESS WERE ARGUING IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS LOOKED LIKE WHAT WAS A MANAGER HAD TO PULL EMPLOYEE AWAY FROM COUNTER. THERE WAS A LADY THERE THAT WAS VERY KIND, WE APPRECIATED HER FOR HER SMILE AND KINDNESS.
You get what you pay for....
My wife and I flew Allegiant to go on our honeymoon in Las Vegas. The flight from Appleton to Las Vegas was uneventful, which is all one really expects from air travel. The attendants were engaged and pleasant, and the flight was on time all around. We had a wonderful experience.
We had an early morning flight scheduled to come home to WI on Friday morning. Thankfully we woke up at around 3:15 AM instead of our alarm time of 5:30, because that gave us enough time to deal with the clown show that followed. My wife happened to look at her text messages, and saw the cancellation sent at about 1:30 AM. The message directed us to the website or to call customer service for options. I’m already annoyed because of the short, overnight notice, and lack of reason given for the cancellation. I then call customer “service”. The agent does the usual things to find out what flight I am referring to and confirming my identity, which is fine and appreciated. She then proceeds to tell me that my flight has been cancelled. I am now highly annoyed and answer, “No s##t.” She then acts completely flabbergasted that I might use profanity (and a fairly mild one at that), in response to her statement, as if I'm not already having a pretty rough morning. She lectures me for about 2 minutes about how she’s a professional travel agent and will not accept this. She starts running through her script telling me what is going to occur, and leads with the refund of my unused flight charges and possible compensation for my troubles. At this point, time is ticking away on my options for finding alternative ways to get home, and I want her to cut to the chase. I interrupt her spiel so that she can give me alternative flights home that leave today, telling her that I am willing to fly to other areas. I mention the Chicago area at least twice. She patronizingly tells me that she is a professional again, and curtly tells me to stop interrupting her so she can finish her speech. I stop talking and allow her to do so. She eventually lists off some options, like staying in Vegas for a few more days until the next flight to Appleton, or driving to Phoenix to fly to Appleton, or flying into Cedar Rapids. Note: I’m not annoyed at this point, because this is exactly what I wanted her to do in the first place, and calmly listen. She then curtly asks me if I’m still there? I tell her what I tried to tell her when I interrupted in the first place, that a refund is a last resort, and I want to hear flight options first, and that I am simply listening. I decide that I want the refund because the flight options are not acceptable, and ask about the additional compensation. She says it would probably be $200, which doesn’t come close to covering the cost of purchasing a same day ticket from another carrier. She then proceeds to give empty apologies that sound exactly like they came from a script instead of true empathy. I end the call and immediately book a flight with Delta that leaves at about the same time and arrived in Appleton via Detroit a few hours later. Our Delta flight from Detroit would be delayed twice in the five hours we laid over. The difference was in communication. I was notified immediately when these delays occurred, and was texted an easy to follow listing of alternative flights I could easily book on my phone within the next 24 hours. I never had to call anybody because my options were presented to me before I asked for them. THAT is quality service! Allegiant could easily do this, as automation could be set up to provide this to their customers. Allegiant would seemingly prefer to direct you to their website so you can find all of this yourself, or be routed to the curt attitudes of their customer service team, which in reading other reviews about Allegiant, I am not the only one who feels this about their customer service staff.
Bottom line: If all goes well, and your flights are not delayed or canceled, Allegiant is a perfectly fine airline to use. If anything happens, you will likely be frustrated and wishing you paid extra for a reputable airline to bring you where you want to go. You probably will either be stuck for days in whatever city you are leaving from, or stuck paying for unused hotel stays due to their short notice in advising on cancellations. I will never roll the dice with Allegiant again, and I will happily tell everyone I know not to use them.

Flight cancelled 3.5 hours prior to boarding time.
A group of 5 of us planned on attending oldest daughters baby shower. A well-earned and deserved vacation was needed and now will not happen. Very disappointing. The unfortunate result is that I will not be able to attend a family event and will lose about 800 dollars in hotel fees, since 24 hours notice was required. Zero customer service. 200 Dollars compensation inadequate. Very disappointed. I attempted to use Allegiance once before about a year ago when a trip to Nashville was cancelled during Easter. Now I feel compelled to warn others. Pay the extra money on a reputable airline so your plans are not thwarted. Lesson learned the hard way.
Buyer/flyer beware
Buyer beware! Pay for your luggage AFTER you are packed and 100% sure of what you are taking with you! I changed my baggage the day before my flight from 2 checked bags to 1. In the end, I was charged for 3 bags. The "refund" for the baggage was issued in the form of a voucher that expires in 10 months NOT a refund to the credit card. I don't expect to fly anywhere they fly for another year, so they get to keep my $164. UNFAIR business practice!!!
A dog crapped on us! Seriously.
Flying from Tampa to Portsmouth, a woman in our row took her cute dog out and had it on her lap. She ignored the stewardess telling her pets must remain in their bags, twice. The stewardess did nothing to insist on compliance. The dog had diarrhea all over the place, ruining my wife's tennis shoes and bag. I contacted Allegiant asking for reimbursement or vouchers. Agent Ben told me there would be no reimbursement or vouchers as Allegiant "has no control over the behavior of passengers."
I was shocked that there was zero attempt to try to make up for the worst flight we have been on in our 60+ years.
FAILING GRADE for customer support and customer relations.

Simply terrible and a disgrace how they treat their passengers. Had a 4:35 departure and the plane was there and ready to board us. However, another group of passengers had been delayed for 2 hours. They said they would do a simple plane switch and we would just have a 1 hour delay. This then turned into a 3 hour delay and then a 7 hour delay departing at 11:00 pm. Eventually, gave us $8 food vouchers good for 24 hours at a restaurant that had been closed for hours. Even the employees were embarrassed as how this was ran. Zero compensation for their complete lack of caring and mis-management. Stay far away.
