I have been very sceptical when I did not received a confirmation mail of my order and really not much of the answers to my emails either, but three days later I have got a tracking number and two more days later a gorgeous alpaca sweater size 2/S (I am 122lb 5’7”) and poncho looking better then I have expected and not to mention how soft both are. Thank you very much! It is very beautiful!

ich schließe mich den bewertungen zur zollproblematik an; die antwort von alpacamall auf entsprechende kritik geht ins leere, da es 1. zumutbar ist einen entsprechenden link zur zollberechnung zu setzen: wenn die ganze seite auf deutsch ist und es ständig mails auf deutsch gibt, ist das eine kleine aktion; 2. völlig inakzeptabel ist, dass es nicht wenigstens an der kasse einen unübersehbaren hinweis auf den zoll gibt; und nicht irgendwo auf unterseite xxx im kleingedruckten; alles rechtlich einwandfrei aber für kunden einfach nur eine falle; das kleid für 300euro hätt ich nicht gekauft wenn ich gewußt hätte , dasss nochmal 100€ zoll drauf kommen . und das weiß wohl auch alpacamall und verheimlicht (praktisch)die zusatzkosten

Abwertung trotz hervorragender Qualität des Produkts wegen Zoll

Die Pullover sind von hervorragender Qualität. Damit bin ich sehr zufrieden, aber nicht mit der Handhabung. Beim Beststellen gab nirgends eine Information, dass noch zusätzlicher Zoll anfällt und aus welchem Land versandt wird. Dadurch sind nicht nur ärgerliche Zollgebühren, eine erhebliche Verzögerung der Lieferung und auch noch zusätzlicher Aufwand durch die Kommunikation mit dem Zoll entstanden. Gerne hätte ich noch mehr bestellt, werde das aber aufgrund der Probleme nicht tun, da ich ein solches Vorgehen für nicht seriös halte.

Timely
When I ordered this item, which is a gift, I was concerned that it would not arrive in time especially with all of the delays happening. I’d had a delay last year on something I had ordered I’m pleased to say it arrived in good shape and on time.
I think it’s attractive and well made so I am happy with the quality.
Having some sort of reliable sizing chart when ordering would help, it’s much smaller than I expected.

Probleme mit dem Zoll
Das Produkt (Poncho für Erwachsene) ist toll, aber leider bin ich auf 36€ Einfuhrabgaben durch denn Zoll sitzen geblieben, die mir persönlich durch FedEx in Rechnung gestellt wurden. AlpacaMall hatte zudem auf dem Paketbegleitschein, welches der Zoll benötigt, einen deutlich niedrigeren Warenwert angegeben als er tatsächlich war. Dadurch wurde ich vom Zoll kontaktiert und musste den Warenwert darlegen und dass ich eine Privatperson bin.
Ich hatte also über 4 Wochen Lieferzeit (was bei der Bestellung nicht klar gemacht wurde), wurde wegen Falschangaben vom Zoll kontaktiert und musste 36€ Einfuhrgebühren an FedEx zahlen. Ich würde nicht noch einmal bei AlpacaMal bestellen. Schade, denn das Produkt ansich ist wirklich toll.

Problem corrected, nice sweaters.
I give AlpacaMall a four star rating only after they investigated the reason for my order being delayed for a month. This took several emails on my part. The quality and fit of the sweaters are good. I would however suggest that they improve their communication to customers.

I ordered a sweater and paid extra for…
I ordered a sweater and paid extra for 2 day delivery. On Monday I received an email stating the sweater was shipped. It is now Saturday, 5 days after being shipped and the sweater has not yet arrived. The email provided no tracking information. I looked on their site where it gave average delivery time for Fed Ex, but received no information stating my sweater was shipped by Fed Ex. I tried to call the vendor several times but only received a recorded message saying something like that person is not available at this time. It sounded like I reached a private home, not a business. I tried to use the package tracking on their website but it only referred me back to the address for their tracking information, a closed loop, around and around. Before this I have not encountered a vendor that does not state how the package is being shipped or provide tracking information in the email. If it doesn't arrive by the end of day I will look into contesting the charge if it is not too late to cancel.
