We found Cairds to be helpful, responsive, professional, and friendly from start to finish. Communication was excellent, and Oscar always kept us updated and answered any questions promptly. Oscar’s approachable and supportive manner made the whole experience much easier and less stressful. Thank you also to Luke and Lorraine who were also extremely helpful and supportive.

We recently rented a property through Cairds Epsom. While our experience prior to agreeing the let was positive, everything from the key handover onwards has been the complete opposite.
Despite multiple email reminders before our move‑in date, the parking permits were not provided at the time of key collection. As a result, I had to pay for parking over several days through no fault of my own.
In addition, immediately after moving in we discovered several major issues: both bathroom showers were not working, the extractor fans in the bathrooms were non‑functional, and the kitchen chimney had faults. It was evident that neither the landlord nor the marketing agent had carried out even basic checks before listing the property for rent.

We found Luke to be very professional and totally up to speed with what was happening at any given point, including liaising with the agent for the house I was selling. I was also impressed with the services offered by their lettings team, in light of the new Renters Rights Act.

We worked closely with Oscar at Cairds for several months during our recent house purchase in Epsom. He wasn’t even our agent, he was acting for the vendors, but he was great - friendly and responsive and so helpful in moving things along with our solicitors when there were delays. If we ever decide to move again would definitely go to Caird’s (and ask for Oscar!).

The team at Epsom office were professional and responsive on the sale of our house. Lorraine French in particular pulled out all the stops communicating with all parties, ensuring that we got to completion after several complications.
