Hasan at Chingford branch was lovely and paid a lot of attention to detail

This is by far the best shop for carpets I have been to. They have been amazing with helping to choose the carpets and underlay with reasonable prices and excellent quality. We went for the Invictus range which we love.

Connor has been amazing at ensuring everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend them for carpets.

Went to Bicester carpets for less today man very rude told us to measure stairs our self I asked if he could book us in for measurements he said no I can’t I said you don’t have any days available he snapped and said NO so we went to carpet trader who were lovely and booked us in

I found that Ben at the Milton Keynes branch was very knowledgeable and helpful advising us regards the carpet that we purchased for one our bedrooms.
Ben also arranged for their fitter, Max to deliver and fit the carpet, which Max did an excellent job.
We were so pleased with service and the price that we have been back again today to purchase more carpets for another bedroom that is being redecorated.

Paul and Danny st The Bedford branch were amazing. I had visited 3 other carpet shopswho all had a 3 week waiting list , ( after I told them I only needed 1 room carpeted ) Paul and Danny were excellent and managed to squeeze me in 3 days later . They also gave me essential advice on what type of carpet would work best for my needs I will be using again and recommending them . Thankyou

I have to say that from start to finish this has been a nightmare. I went to the Northampton branch to get swatches for my mums bungalow. They came out to measure up later that week. Carpet took two weeks to come which we were told about and so expected. Capet fitters came and the lounge carpet was not the correct measurements, they bought the wrong grippers and only fitted 2 when we paid for six. After numerous calls and issues the fitters finally came back and fitted two more grippers and left the doors unable to be closed despite mum asking them to assist with it. My mum was just done with it all and so told them to leave. Incredibly poor service, didn’t really get what was paid for and would never recommend them.

Excellent service! The team was very professional, friendly, and welcoming. They did an amazing job fixing my carpet and made sure everything was clean and tidy before leaving. Their work was outstanding. I highly recommend them and gladly give them 5 stars! 🤙

Just to say that from the beginning of the order to the fitting , I received the best service and fitting of my carpet . The under lay to top fitting is superb . The fitting gentleman were superb .

We have just had lvt flooring and a stair carpet fitted ,from start to finish all staff were exceptional . The fitters were really professional, polite and did a fantastic job we would highly recommend.

Extremely helpful salesman, Kei, looked into best value carpet for the size, very good at explaining, and allowed fitters to make it a private arrangement for fitting so that I could have an extra small piece replaced where moths had eaten away at a previous carpet. I found him kind and attentive, respectful. Good value.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I went in store and ordered a custom-made runner for the hallway, provided all the measurements, and was pleasantly surprised at the amazing price and assurance that the runner would be ready to collect in one weeks' time. However, everything went downhill from there. The runner was several weeks overdue, my partner and I called several times for updates and the staff were incredibly unhelpful and uncommunicative. They kept telling us they'd look into it and call us back but never did. Eventually, we went down there to complain and was told it would be ready by the end of the week. It arrived today (mid-week the week after they said it would be ready) and we've just unfurled it to find that it's been made really poorly. The quality is terrible and not even for the correct measurements - it's 20cm too narrow. We will be taking it back asap and demanding a full refund. Absolute waste of time and money.

Deep wash very helpful he translated our measurements for us and gave us the best advice on the type of carpet we needed for each room. Nothing was a problem for him

My husband & I visited the Cambridge store with our measurements to buy a specific carpet that we had purchased before but unfortunately this was not possible but Deep was extremely helpful in helping us purchase another carpet that suited our needs, we are very happy with the service provided & will be back soon for another carpet for a different room :)

What an amazing experience, from start to finish. All of my business was conducted through the Basildon branch and was warm and friendly from the start. I was pleasantly surprised at the sales technique which avoided high pressure sales and was not the normal process which I have previously experienced, when it has been to extract as much money as possible.

I discussed my needs, and these were then tailored by personable and knowldgeable staff. I was informed that certain elements of my list were simply a waste of money and I would achieve the same results without additional cost. That really was a first and actually very refreshing.

The fitters arrived on time, and did an amazing job. In and out within a couple of hours, The only thing which I would have changed would be for the fitters to take away the excess, but thanks to a greedy individual who successfully prosecuted fitters for stealing her off cuts, this isn't a service which is offered any more.
Shame on them, ruined it for everyone.

We had a very disappointing experience with Carpets4Less (Cambridge branch) and would not recommend them based on our experience.

Problems started at the outset. We selected a specific flooring product and were told it was available, so we paid in full. We were later informed that the product was not actually in stock. When we asked for a refund, this was not handled professionally; instead, we felt pressured to choose an alternative product.

The replacement product did not match what we had originally seen or expected once installed. When we raised this concern, it was dismissed rather than addressed constructively.

Serious problems emerged shortly afterwards the installation was complete. Multiple upstairs rooms developed loud and persistent crackling noises when walked on. These issues continued unresolved for over two months, during which time we experienced ongoing disruption, repeated site visits, and prolonged correspondence without resolution.

An independent inspection later confirmed that the flooring and adhesive were not defective, but identified multiple issues with the installation system and preparation. Despite having arranged the assessment, specification and installation process, Carpets4Less refused to accept any responsibility. Instead, responsibility was repeatedly pushed onto the fitter, with no ownership of the assessment or system they had specified.

This pattern of blame‑shifting, rather than accountability, characterised the entire after‑sales process. Communication was defensive and dismissive, and even after escalating the matter to the head office, no meaningful or resolution‑focused response was provided.

Ultimately, we had no choice but to pay again to have the flooring replaced by another provider. The alternative company carried out a proper pre‑installation assessment and installed an appropriate system. The replacement flooring has been fault‑free.

Based on our experience, Carpets4Less added no real value beyond acting as a middleman, while refusing responsibility when things went wrong. In hindsight, a better and cheaper option would have been to purchase the flooring directly online and hire a competent fitter independently.

We would not use Carpets4Less again and would advise others to approach with caution.

Can't recommend Mike enough! We went in with my measurements and ordered carpet on Sunday. Then I realised I measured wrong. Mike called me at 10am the next day,came round at 11am re-measuerd and it was all sorted. By the end of the week called to say it was in but no rush as he knew sofas weren't coming for another month. He was great with my big dog when he came round. Amazing service 👍
