Dreams - Burnley Reviews 

On Saturday 7th February I took my 85 year old mother to buy a mattress in your Burnley Store. I cannot recommend Amir and Hayley highly enough. From the moment we walked in the door they were warm, welcoming and professional. They listened to my mothers needs and then took her through the process of selecting the right mattress for her. Amir was very patient and deliberate in showing her the choice of recommended mattresses in the showroom, before taking her through the paperwork Amir also ensured that she understood what was happening at every step of the purchase making it seamless and stress free. Amir and Hayley then helped us take the added extras of the purchase out to the car, they embodied professionalism with out any pressure and provided a sincere human touch in what is becoming an automated world. Overall this was an excellent shopping experience . "People buy from people" we buy goods and services from individuals we trust, like, and feel connected to. Both Amir and Hayley embodied all of the above and were a credit to your company." 

Helpful staff in Burnley store, no trouble in helping elderly relatives and not pushy.

I was greeted by staff members at the door at the Burnley branch . Then Asif a staff member greeted me in the shop and remembered my phone conversation with him a couple of days prior. Asif was very polite and professional,he made me feel very comfortable and at ease as I have mobility issues. He changed mattresses for me so I could try different ones . I also tried the sleep master . I was asked if wanted a drink of water . Everything was covered by Asif ,nothing was too much trouble for him and I didn't feel like I was put under any pressure to make a purchase. I did make my purchase of the sleepmotion 200i adjustable bed frame and mattress but I couldn't decide to goes for medium or firm mattress but with the guarantee off trying the mattress and changing it if it's not for me made the dicision much easier. I'm now looking forward to my delivery and assembly and I have taken extra warranty for peace of mind.

Dropped in for a a headboard. The staff were great , the gentleman who served us, and the lady staff member who helped a senior to his car. The staff are great.

After leaving the shop and its promises of all manner of things, you gradually find out - from the paperwork provided. -that should your home be the wrong size or shape to accommodate a hitherto unheard of terminology, for a "3 foot bed" (something called a 'Euro. Bed' or close to it) you will be incurring further costs - on top of having no bed delivered!

I did not like that!

Happily the difference between what we expected and what we got, was a only need to extend our existing 'Bed-head's' feet, to reach the new beds now lower pre-drilled fixing point (a fairly make do-and-mend) piece joinery has been able to make that problem disappear - happily out of sight.

On the bright side the bed is comfy and worthy of praise.

Hi there

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond. I consider that to be a plus and will increase my star rating by one - it would have been more but for your email contact being only an annoying ’NO REPLY’ one. Something further backing up my theory of a REMOTE MANAGEMENT being too REMOTE, thus causing problems that could be avoided.

The original fright of realising we might receive a Package of indetermanent size as long since passed. But you should recognise that the conditions seemed to indicate little definition of what size a box containing a ‘Euro Bed’ - and its packing - would be.

What was made clear in the documentation, was that if it did not fit in our house it was NOT going to be delivered! Which was a worry.
As things turned out, the day of delivery worked well.
The gentlemen unpacked and carried major parts of the bed onto our stairway landing - which was OUR request; and we got on with the tricky part of manoeuvring the various parts into our back bedroom.

Your staff were excellent to deal with too.

To summarise, what I would liked to have seen was a straight line of contact to hear the fine detail of what I have written being:

‘WHAT TO EXPECT ON DELIVERY DAY"

Great service and up to press my choice of mattress has been a good one.

The mattress is very comfy and very supportive for the back. The The team at Burnley Dreams were extremely helpful had lots of advice about the kind of mattress that would suit us best. Delivery went smoothly and we were informed about when the delivery would be made.

Avoid if you want a bed anytime soon
Ordered my mum a new bed 1st July, told it would take around 6 weeks, maximum 12 weeks but unlikely it would take so long.
It took over 17 weeks for delivery!!! Not impressed!!! Won’t buy from them again

From start to finish I received excellent attention. Everything was explained to me & I'm more than happy with the bed I bought following an assessment in the shop. The delivery went to plan & the men were very polite & efficient.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable I was made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much bother. I was asked if wanted a a drink more than once and I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. I will certainly recommend this store to friends.

Listened to what we were looking for. Explaining each mattress we tried

Great in the showroom but failed to tell me that the matress l had chosen would have a dreadful smell for several weeks.
The delivery men were brilliant. I could not fault them
