Cooker delivered when stated. Would say I got a bit anxious as the website site says there will be an email from 4pm the day before and this didn't happen. I phoned and was told I could phone at 11am on the day for a time and that it would definitely be late afternoon. This is what happened so all good. Driver very helpful and I had paid for unpacking etc which he did and joined me in careful inspection. Would have slotted cooker in for me but had electrician coming next day so told him not to bother.

I have used Top Cash Back (TCB) to buy through for 20 years so I know how the cashback tracking system works fully. I have never bought from Electrical Discount UK but as their cash back offer of 6.37% through TCB would pay me just over £30 cash back I decided for this reason to buy from them as they had the Bosch washing machine I wanted in stock. They did not honour the transaction telling TCB I had not come via that method. 100% I know I did place the order via TCB (having seen it had tracked ok) but will never do business with this dishonest company again ever! I am extremely unhappy that Electrical Discount UK do not pay up when soliciting new business via cashback sites - do not trust them go elsewhere is my recommendation. Hence 1 Star for lousy business practice.
Edit: Having today 20/11/24 received a belated reply I felt compelled to add to my review. Electrical Discount have ignored my 20 year experience in using TopCashBack & used the dubious practice of saying I am the first in all their time trading to complain of untracked & unpaid cashback!! Well it's their affiliate that screwed up my cashback that I do know. I also know that Electrical Discount with an a telling 'Average' only rating & that of 321 reviewers 70 people gave them the lowest rating of 1 Star! That's nothing to be proud of after 25 years trading.

Ordered an electric cooker and paid for 'named delivery date'. They failed to deliver on agreed date. Had to pay for electrician twice.
They have ignored emails requesting a refund.

Really poor. Two attempted deliveries of an oven, both smashed on delivery, meaning we have issues bringing all appliances together for a booked install. We will now need to pay considerably over the original price to have the product delivered on time by a more reliable provider. Avoid.

I bought a washing machine and paid extra for next day delivery along with connection and recycling of my old machine and disposal of the packaging. The machine turned up on the following day but had a huge dent in the back. It had to be refused. I was also told (incorrectly) that it could not be installed as it is a hot/cold machine and I only have a cold water feed. This is incorrect and the product instructions tell you how to install it. A second machine came the following day, but they didn’t remove the packaging and Ihad to do it myselfalong with the installation. I had phoned them and told them what had happened and I was told I would get a refund for the services I hadn’treceived but no refund has been made. In addition, I had clicked through topcashback but the cash back did not track. Topcashback won’t tell me why it did not work, but needless to say I am extremely annoyed about ow this has worked out. I am out of pocket because of the failed cashback and the lack of refund. I emailed them over a week ago about all these issues but had not reply.

Edit - I’ve now had a refund so I’m changing the rating.

Order it online at 10pm on a Wednesday, order was processed first thing Thursday morning, delivered and installed on Friday earlier than scheduled by a two man team as promised.

Graham was a polite and helpful fella and the whole thing couldn’t have been easier! All this whilst saving over £100 on the appliance.

I ordered my fridge/freezer and had a small issue with delivery dates. I contacted customer service and it was sorted immediately, in a polite and professional manner. Also the cheapest I found the item anywhere. Would use again. Thank you

Bought a washing machine on Amazon described as 10kg 1600 spin what was sent was 8kg 1200 spin. Challenged the seller and they were instructed by Amazon to send the item that was described. Seller refused and tried to get me to pay nearly £100 to get what I paid for they have completely mis sold this item and will be reported to trading standards. They claim it was a listing error but this item wasn't even checked before dispatch another opportunity to make sure they are selling and sending out correct goods and failed. Do not trust this awful seller

Wrong item was delivered to me. The customer service was trying their best to be helpful but the delivery services and times was extremely stressful. We were trying to fit it in our busy schedule but for some reason, they just manage to mess it up. Ended up with almost 3 weeks without a washer. Hence, we had to drive to launderette after work to get our clothes washed. I dont know how they messed it up in the first place.... having 2 different addresses on the item.
Its the hassle and stress of making phone calls while I'm at work because of their office hours. This also applies to the delivery service that EDUK uses. Lots of miscommunications between EDUK and ArrowXL (delivery services). I just gave up in the end. Became indifferent with all the mishaps and blunder... hoping that the correct item will be delivered on whatever date they offered as the earliest. Whereby I had to make adjustments to our work schedule to accommodate the earliest delivery date they provided. Hey ho. It is done now. 🤷‍♀️

Bought some Technics EAH-A800EK headphones at a good price from these guys, comms were good and received the package quickly and with no fuss. My wife loves the headphones! Recommended 👍🏻

Got a good price for the TV and soundbar I was after. Very quick and painless experience on the website - it came quickly (and on the date specified) I'm on the top floor of an apartment block so it occasionally can be difficult having things delivered, but all was seamless. Overall, highly recommend.

Used ED UK for all my kitchen appliances, and big and small. Speedy delivery and helped me install. 5 Stars

Delivered in good time and item well packaged

Had a couple of bad experiences with some of the more well-known guys recently so shopped around for a TV, and was glad I did! Electrical Discount had a good price for what I wanted, and the delivery guy rung me on the delivery day to say he was making good time and if I was in then he could deliver it a bit earlier! Chuffed on the whole, would recommend!

I paid extra for a 2 day delivery for a washing machine that was advertised as "IN STOCK" on their website.
The machine did not arrive so I rang them only to be told the machine is out of stock and they did not know when they would be back in stock but it would be at least a week.
They also apologized for nobody contacting me at all.
I no longer had any faith in this company so I got a refund and went elsewhere.
This company advertises cheap prices but operates on the old advertising trick of " Well our prices are cheaper than anybody else's, WHEN they are out of stock!"

Very very disappointed. TV was via Amazon. Purchased last week. Delivery date showing as today on Amazon. Took day off work. Checked tracking on delivery co website. Arrow XL says next Monday. Rang ArrowXL who informed me that no delivery date had been pre booked by the retailer and offered next Tuesday.
Someone is messing me around here, so am getting a refund. Easier just to go to Currys.

Keenest price for a Samsung QE65S95C I could find on the internet- so I ordered and paid for next day delivery as my TV had literally just stopped working.
At 8.16am next day Arrow XL text me to say the TV had gone to the wrong depot- they would be in touch ASAP.
4.45pm another text- 'your delivery is ready to be re-scheduled' Advised Graham at EDUK who refunded next day delivery charge and apologised.
I then went into online chat with Arrow XL who offered me a slot 5 or 7 days away!
I advised its should be next day (Friday or Saturday at a push) to be told 'No you are on a standard delivery- so do you want us to cancel it then'?
I asked Graham to refund my PayPal- which he did.
Graham then went on holiday, and PayPal informed me it was an e-cheque refund payment and could take days.
I explained this to 2 other members of staff at EDUK (Simon I think was one) both promised faithfully they would come back- no one ever did!
As the days dragged on, I emailed (TWICE) to ask as I had now written off getting the TV quickly, once refunded could they just re-instate the order? Both emails were ignored completely, and eventually 8 days later the PayPal refund cleared.
So I then bought both the TV and a £399 Soundbar from Hills Radio in Brighton, who couldn't have been more helpful, made me aware I could claim £400 back from Samsung by buying both and delivered next day- how it should be done!
Sadly it seems that Graham was the only person interested in customer service, whilst the others were more intent on customer prevention....

Great communication, efficient and fast delivery. Would happily purchase from again as the price offered for the product I wanted was very competitive. Free delivery too, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others
