Sponge is always given the very best of care when we visit. They are always happy to listen to any concerns ad advise us and we are extremely happy with the vets and their caring manner.

I work long hours thus asked my elderly parents to call and arrange flea treatment for my two cats on my behalf. My mum phoned and was quoted £120 for three months of flea treatment for two cats, including flea spray. I thought the price was high but accepted it because it supposedly included everything.

When my dad arrived to pay he was told they had no idea what he was talking about. Suddenly the price increased by an additional £2.50 per cat, and the flea spray my mum had specifically been told was included was now apparently an extra £37. They now wanted £162.

It’s unacceptable to quote one price over the phone and then change it when an elderly customer arrives to collect and pay. If the original quote was incorrect that should have been acknowledged and handled professionally rather than leaving my parents confused and embarrassed.

My cats were only examined a couple of months ago so no consultation was required. Despite that the price for flea treatment alone was so high that it would actually be cheaper to register with another vet, pay for a consultation there and obtain the treatment elsewhere. They was also reluctant to write a written prescription without delay, and the price for a written prescription exceeded the “set” price outlined on their website.

Unfortunately this has completely undermined my confidence in the practice. Clear consistent pricing and honest communication should be the minimum standard, especially when dealing with elderly customers.

It’s also disappointing to see how expensive medicines have become at many large corporate veterinary groups. Goddard Veterinary Group is part of VetPartners, which is owned by the private equity firm BC Partners. While ownership alone doesn’t determine how a practice treats its clients, this experience left me feeling that value for customers was not a priority.

Roll on a few months time when they finally cap the price in the uk for writren prescriptions so we can order online without being ripped off.

We have always taken our cats to Godard’s and have been impressed by their wonderful staff.
This time we had annual boosters for Inky and the vet was thorough and experienced.

Very helpful when I had to call and get my dog seen very last minute just before closing , happy to triage Rex and gave treatment , was stressful as I was abroad and my daughter was worried about him , helped her anxiety about the situation. So thank thank addiscombe branch for other yesterday x

The receptionist and vet at Goddards Highbury are both lovely and always treat my (senior) dog gently and with kindness and respect. We never feel rushed during consultations and the explanations of treatment are always provided in detail.

Whilst I had to wait almost an hour more than over than the appointed time I was very happy with the Vet's care of my cat and to send the prescription to me so I could order the medicine online where they are significantly cheaper than buying from the vet.

Ive used Goddard at Thamesmead for the last 5 years. Although I've rarely seen the same vet twice, the service has always been consistently good. Every experience has been positive and they've worked with me to find the most cost effective solution. Very happy and would recommend.

I can't recommend Goddard Veterinary Group in Acton highly enough, they are absolutely the best! Every member of the team is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the animals they look after.
They have looked after my two dogs with exceptional care since they were puppies, and every visit has been a positive experience. The team always takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make both pets and owners feel comfortable and supported. You never feel rushed, and it's obvious how dedicated everyone is to providing the very best care.
A special thanks to Andrea, who is absolutely amazing. His kindness, compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals really stand out, and I always feel reassured knowing my dogs are in such capable hands.

Very nice staff. Very helpful and efficient and refreshingly, they didn't try to up-sale other treatments and services as other vets have in the past with my older dog.

I’m so grateful to the team at Goddard Vets—they were absolutely amazing. They saw us incredibly quickly and went completely out of their way to be kind, patient, and supportive with my elderly relative who brought our dog in. It can be stressful getting a pet to the vet, but their warmth and fast help made all the difference. Thank you so much!

The vets and nurses are great but the hospital is woefully understaffed and ways of working / IT systems are antiquated which leads to angst for patients and owners due to excruciatingly long waiting times in between triage, consultation and tests. Reminiscent of the NHS rather than a private practice. One can only assume that the Group is trying to make bigger margins at the cost of stress for their staff, pets and owners. They could increase revenue by improving work practices, the IT, equipment and increasing the number of staff, starting with a receptionist over the weekend. I wouldn’t be surprised if their staff is burnt out and staff turnover is high. Nobody should have to work under these conditions in this day and age.

I have been using this vets for years, long before Goddard’s acquired it, staff are lovely & it’s clean, it’s just a Shame that they continually push the price for up for everything… pure greed from another big company who has the monopoly now. I continue go as it’s consistency for my dogs & the staff are kind but it’s bristles every time they put the price up even for printing a regular prescription that I purchase on line! £22 to print & sign is really not ok!

Amazing energy every time we go. All team members makes you feel so welcome and Kyuubi (my dog) pulls me to get in even if we pass by.

Visited Goddards with a new kitten. The receptionist was welcoming. The reception is air conditioned and clean. Our appointment was on time. The vet gave good advice and a good overall health check for the kitten alongside a pet vaccination passport. Flea and worm treated administered promptly correctly and without fuss. Definitely a good first experience.

I highly recommend the Goddard Vet Group branch in Wembley. My dog, Bidu, is always treated with so much care and affection by his vet, Triona. The receptionist is also incredibly friendly and attentive every time we visit. It gives me complete peace of mind knowing that Bidu is looked after by such a wonderful team.
