GO Outdoors - Scarborough (Express) Reviews

Sam and Syrona were both very helpful and full of knowledge. Even though my experience of trying to log in to the website with usernames and passwords befuddled me, Sam scanned my membership card and it immediately came up with the details I’d already been entering on the website, and accepted me.
It ended very well with me making several purchases directed to by Syrona.
Thank you very much ladies. You made my trip to Scarborough worthwhile.
I’ll be back!

Sam was very helpful and extremely patient in helping us purchase the most suitable items for us

I had the distinct pleasure of being looked after by a young gentleman named David earlier today. He was extremely helpful and attentive without my feeling as though I was being smothered. He is a credit to your organisation in my opinion.

Excellent staff everytime I go in, Sam & Luke were very helpful they made me feel so comfortable & at ease.

Served today by Sam, who was very helpful and friendly, and made finding the right item easy.
Very happy with coat, which is lightweight but warm and waterproof.

The Scarborough staff were amazing the other day when I visited. Really bubbly, outgoing and extremely helpful! So chuffed to have been treated like a real person by staff that were knowledgeable and they helped me find exactly what I needed. Very pleased with my new coat.

The in store assistant was knowledgeable and helpful

I went in to buy a knife and was told I could not buy one . I asked why are they I the shop then. And she called the next customer
Which i thought was rude
She had curly hair
By the way I am 61 years old.
The shop was at Scarborough
I will not go to shop again unless I get apologised to.

I needed to replace a pair of Meindl walking shoes that had failed stitching and went to the Scarborough branch. Luke and the other staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable and I ended up with some Merrell Moab 3 GORE-TEX. Very happy with them so far.
Thanks.

Sound advice helped me choose two very good products.

So, I'm not much of an outdoors type person which means I don't visit shops like this often. Also, I'm not from Scarborough (I guess a lot of people aren't given that it's a holiday destination) and although I am a northern lass myself, the people of Yorkshire have been a delight during our stay just down the coast, David and Sam who served us excelling on that front. As an exercise on customer service they were brilliant. Helpful, knowledgeable, polite, personable ..... a big help when I was completely out of my comfort zone. I bought exactly what I needed at a good price thanks to enlisting in the Go Outdoors club. It's not the biggest or fanciest shop but that doesn't matter if you have good staff. Thank you both and thank you Go Outdoors.

Excellent service by David - v patient as I tried on a load of walking shoes and he gave great advice - thank you David!

Could not have received better customer service. Helpful and attentive without the hard sell.

Lovely little store had what we was looking for so that was brilliant.

My experience at go outdoors was great the staff were polite and attentive and everything was easy to find.

great customer service - friendly and helpful

Been in today to get a carrier for my little girl and just wanted to pop a comment on to say how great the ladies in the shop were. Thank you Syrona and Evie!

Luke was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you

Pleasant and friendly staff member who helped us to apply for the go outdoors card. He was very patient and gave us information on how the card works.

Great little shop that has a bit of everything inside, I needed a replacement double inflatable mattress for my daughters who were on holiday with us. I had tried different shops in Whitby with no luck and this shop was just around the corner from the car park in Scarborough.
