They managed to turn around 2 cleaning 2 double duvets in 24 hours as agreed.

I was charged for laundry that wasn’t laundered. I tried sending messages. I tried calling. No response. No refund. Had to make a claim to my credit card company. You cannot reach this company if you have a problem. Shocking

Texted to say they were picking up the laundry 5 hours before the time slot I selected. I needed to chase them to ask them to honour the chosen pickup option. They still arrived nearly an hour early. Similarly, clothes were dropped off more than 30 minutes before the window I specified.

My clothes have no discernable laundry / fresh smell. I can't detect any trace of product used. Clothes weren't folded - just shoved into the plastic bags. Extremely crumpled. Socks weren't paired, clothes had hair stuck to them. There was also someone else's sock in my bag. Who knows what items of mine have ended up in another bag.

Really unimpressed. Genuinely upset at the poor service.

Great service but frustrated by the drop off. Hasn’t been a single time in last four returns that have been anywhere near the slot I booked. Last chance for me. What is point of requesting a return time if you aren’t going to honour it.

Poor pick-up experience, laundry came back wrinkled.

Charged me £8.50 for a ironed top i only sent shirts to be ironed still waiting for a reply. Never collect or drop off at the time i request. Cheaper then other company's though.

It is complicated. I have used many times and had no problems with quality of the dry clean( only dry cleninig can comment on). However the collection is problematic probably 50% of the time they pick the laundry up when requested. Lesson learnt as this weekend delay affect me going away on holiday with potentially dirty clothes

Requested pick up for 7- 9. The driver offered 3pm - I explained not possible before 7. Never arrived( been at home since 18:15. There was no communication since the 3pm phone call. Very disappointing.

Website doesn't work, chatbot doesn't work, barely reachable via phone. I made a change to my booking which was promptly ignored. The guy showed up on the original date of the booking, but at 10pm at night. Would never use again, cannot recommend.

Was over five hours late with no communication. I needed to leave the house, I had a flight to catch. Tried live chat, the helpdesk support just stopped replying.

They started off well, professional and on time. The third time was the last and disaster. We booked the collection for 1-3pm on Friday, as we have two young babies to navigate. The online chap ‘Roy’ informed they will collect between 8-10pm after no contact from them. The communication was so poor that you couldn’t contact directly until now. I had to point out to them the phone number listed had 12 digits?. They have subsequently changed it to a London number but it just rings and rings. They only communicate online or via txt! They contacted me via txt and told the driver was stuck in traffic and could I collect tomorrow. Delivery was booked for Saturday. They offered me no compensation and I had to argue with the online bot with no guarantee of collection. Subsequently we cancelled and found a more suitable, more professional company to use. They have a non existent customer service and I was made to feel I was the one inconveniencing them. I wouldn’t recommend to use after the 1st wash problems will arise and the standard will drop. Avoid.

Hello Laundry just reached a new low! They are emailing customers asking for reviews on Trust Pilot in exchange of a refund if £5! Unbelievable! I wonder how they can still be in business after having scammed so many people. Probably not long before they’ll need to close down, and it will be a relief for all their damaged customers.

Convenience, Speedy and definitely a cheaper price and other local dry cleaners. A great experience, but my jacket still remained with some stubborn marks.

Good local laundry service company. They pick up and drop off, sometimes timing isnt accurate. Prices are ok.

I always use hello laundry now, they have the best prices in my area and always deliver on the days I book. I switched to them after getting fed up of all the other companies not offering next day delivery and repeatedly delaying my delivery by days.

The only place hello laundry need to work on is the timings or just remove the booking time. They very rarely show up at the time but if you know this and just book on a day when you’re around you should be fine. They send a text 30 mins or so before letting you know the time.

My wife and I are on holiday and needed to have laundry done. We are not from the area so we had to look on line. We found, Hello Laundry and We used them and they picked up on time, delivered on time and kept us connected to let us know the status of our laundry. Pricing was reasonable and everything was neatly folded, in a bag from Hello Laundry. Very impressed.

In all honesty, I wish I had read some reviews on here before using Hello Laundry, but I was stupidly lured in by a 20% discount code. Please don't make the same mistake as me! I booked 2 loads of service washes before Christmas. The pick up time was 7 hours later than booked which was a bit inconvenient, but not the end of the world. However when my laundry was returned to me the following evening, my lovely white duvet cover came back covered in deep black stains (looks like ink) and is totally ruined. I sent photos to complain, and contacted the company via email (6 times), phone (no-one ever answered my calls) and LiveChat - which goes silent when you complain, or just tells you to send an email, which remains unanswered. I don't think I've ever encountered such bad customer service! I also tried to get through via Facebook Messenger and Linked In, all to no avail - and ultimately I even ended up writing to the MD of the company. I have finally this morning (perhaps as a result of reaching out to the the MD) heard from them via email, essentially telling me that they don't take any responsibility for the damage, that the laundry facility have checked their CCTV and the stains must be my fault and perhaps I left a pen in the bag (!!) I have assured them that this absolutely isn't the case, but without any evidence to the contrary, I sadly don't have a leg to stand on. So I have basically paid them to have my duvet cover destroyed! All I can do is vote with my wallet and NEVER use this company again, and urge others to do likewise. It seems from reading numerous reviews on this site that I am very much not alone in this situation too. What a truly disappointing service - and a lesson learnt by me too, to do my research before using online services such as this in the future. Shocking. I will never use them again.

Four new pieces of clothing put in for dry cleaning for first time. They were unscathed as far as I am aware. Two pairs of trousers come back with about a a dozen very small (pin sized) holes like the clothes were getting caught by something repeatedly.

Hello Laundry reject my complaint. Tell me that moths have caused the problem (moths that have miraculously missed the suit jacket and seemingly every other piece of clothing in my wardrobe) and advise that I buy moth spray.

Truly - save your money and your clothes - go somewhere else. This after being hours late in collecting and returning the clothes.

1 star is too much. Their response verbatim, so you can judge the competence of their reply for yourself:

"As we got an update from our Facility where our laundry cleaning expert seen the pictures which was send by you and also by CCTV Footage they informed that its a holes caused by moth where it was kept in moth effected wardrobe, so there is no chance to get holes by dry cleaning service which is done by our dry cleaning expert.

So kindly I can suggest you to buy a moth spray where you can save your other clothes from moth in the future."

First time using this service. Came out that day to collect washing and had it back the nxt day with no problems and i had a very large amount to be done. Great value for money, would recommend again and use on the near future for other services like ironing and repair. Very happy.
