Beautiful product!
We are remodelling a bathroom in a very old coitage, it’s been quite difficult to find an over mirror light that isn’t either too twee or too modern.
Very quickly dispatched and beautifully packaged. I’d recommend this company to anyone.

Faultless in every respect
This review would probably be a lot shorter if the company did anything wrong! But the only adjective I can apply to it is "faultless".
I've now bought Spider wall lights from Holloways on two occasions.
The first time, when I opened the parcel, it looked as if one of my two lamp frames was missing. So I queried that with Customer Service. A few minutes later I realised that the second frame, being exactly like the first, was present, but I didn't see it.
Not only did Holloways contact me to clarify its location, its representative called me - before I had finished emailing them again to apologise for my false alarm - to make sure it was there.
And delivery on this occasion was extremely fast. Since I hadn't yet engaged an electrician to install the lights, this wasn't a matter of urgency, but I was pleased by the rapidity of Holloway's completion of the delivery.
The lamps were in perfect condition, too. This was the first time I received a product where the parts were already assembled, ensuring that all were present and accounted for.
I felt that the instruction diagrams could have been improved with a few labels to illustrate the relationship between each part. And Holloway's was very gracious about my comments. More importantly, they referred them to the manufacturer - who, in turn, took them to heart and even asked whether I would be willing to send them an image to clarify my remarks.
I was happy to do so, and Holloways couldn't have been more charming. So full marks for my post-delivery experience - both from Holloways and the manufacturer.
When I finally engaged an electrician, the installation couldn't have gone more smoothly. And the result is stunning! The only word to describe them is elegant.
Sadly, the reason I needed to place another order so soon was that the electrician couldn't repair one of the wall lights in my living room. So I needed to order a second pair of Spider lights - and I was very worried that Holloways might be sold out of them and unable to fill my order.
But - lucky me - I got the last two that Holloways had in stock. And I was shocked (pleasantly) to receive them only two days later.
Holloways's customer service is the best I have experienced from any retailer at any time over the past two decades. And, unlike other couriers from other delivery firms, the courier on both occasions followed my instructions to the letter. Had he, like others, simply dropped the parcel on my front doorstep, it would have been vulnerable to theft by any passerby. And if it had been stolen it's likely that the lights might not have been replaceable.
When I emailed Holloways to confirm the successful delivery I again received a charming response thanking me for my very positive comments.
So, the moral of this tale is this: If you are a potential Holloways customer reading this review, I can assure you that you will not be at all sorry for buying from Holloways. In my experience, the lighting products available from most retailers are - to put it mildly - simply so ugly that, no matter how much expense the customer has gone to, and how beautiful the environment in which their lights were hung, the final effect would be such that I, for one, wouldn't be able to live with it.
It makes me want to buy other goods from Holloways that I don't need right now and that my budget might not allow at present.

Order never arrived
We purchased Tom Dixon garden furniture from Holloways of Ludlow, only to discover after placing the order that the furniture was not actually in stock. After waiting six weeks with no meaningful progress or clear update, we eventually had no choice but to cancel the order.
The most frustrating part was the customer service. We repeatedly chased for updates but struggled to get any clear information about when the furniture would actually be available.
Ultimately, summer arrived and passed without the garden furniture we had ordered. We eventually managed to secure a full refund, but the overall experience was very poor and far below what we would expect.
A disappointing experience from start to finish.

Very slow delivery
I ordered an 'in stock' shelving that was supposed to dispatch same day according to their website, but 10 days had passed and no news of it. I had to follow up several times, and their customer service kept promising that it is about to be picked up by the courier .This went on for days. It was disappointing as I needed it quicker and lots of other shops had this item, so should have just ordered from anywhere else.
