Our experience with home energy save was great from start to finish! Really informative and precise. The work itself is to a great standard and was completed timely and all the people that have come around have been really friendly and chatty. The whole thing has been incredibly easy on our part which is exactly what a customer wants! Would highly recommend.

We booked a flex fit installation that got to our property treatment a day earlier than booked. So that was great the guys showed up promptly on the day did the work required cleaned up all completed in a professional manner. Very happy.

We had damp proofing done just over 12 months ago. We contacted the company recently as when installed they promised a 12 month check to confirm the damp had gone (We are not sure the treatment has worked) and a 25-year guarantee of the work. We were advised the company had gone into liquidation. We were surprised to then see new reviews daily showing work is still being carried out with only a slight name change of the company (UK to GB). We tried to approach to see if our guarantee and check will be honoured. They confirmed it will not. Incredibly disappointing and unfair when the same people are clearly still trading under a different name. Be Wary.

The whole experience with Home Engery Save was simple. The survey was very informative, and all options explained in detail.
Matt and Craig completed the damp proof course, they were very efficient and tidied up after themselves, which is always appreciated.

There was a small issue with an area being missed off the plan/video, however Matt and Craig stayed late so the work could be completed.

I would happily recommend the company.

I had Pete come round from home energy save to look at moisture in the property, he told me everything was fixable by opening the windows and not leaving damp washing inside. Great advice and great service! Would recommend.

Just had woodworm and wet rot treatment done by Kevin and Ben. Both very helpful and polite. gave clear information and answered any queries we had. The work was done as agreed, on time and efficiently. An additional bonus - telephone calls to the office are always answered promptly, with any queries passed on to the relevant person who then calls back. Thank you!

Peter came and visited today very honest, told me that I had no damp in the house, peace of mind all round.

Easy to get initial report, staff member very informative and knowledgeable. Craig, Matt and Tony arrived promptly and completed the job efficiently and without any issues. All paperwork and information great, and we’ll recommend.

Great workmanship, good communication, work completed as scheduled. Only negative would be lack of dust sheets on floor and fire place resulting a lot of cleaning!

I had a damp proof course work done in Dec 2024 and was manipulated towards signing the contract and paid £4000 for what should cover the whole area that has damp issues which was investigated and agreed

On the day the job started, they implemented a different solution different from what we initially agreed. Also, they left some items uncompleted which we initially agreed.

Two months later, my wall starts to bleed and paint peeling off massively. I reached out to them and after several attempts on email and phone calls, they sent someone down to inspect.

They are demanding additional over £4000 to fix their incomplete work and badly work done.

Run away from them, here are tricks they use:

1. They will call someone on the phone to pretend as if they want to get you a good deal from their senior management, all game. They will make it look like goodwill.

2. When the job starts, they will go against what you initially agreed with them. Since you had paid a deposit, you are tied in and forced to accept their proposal

3. After inspecting all the areas and lets say they come up with 20sqm. They will quote you for 10sqm and during the job you will have to start to argue this with the workers. They intentionally do this, so you think they are cheaper compared to other companies and this forced you to give the job to them thinking you had a great deal. And afterwards, they demand for additional thousands to cover the rest.

Basically, they are splitting the job that should be done as one into multiple to rip you off.

That's the situation am in with them currently.

Lastly, they continuously persuade you to leave them a good review on the last day of the job which I did, unknown to me that the result of their work was going to fail months later.

Had I read their reviews earlier, I wouldn't have given them the job.

This company is the biggest scam.
Their pushy sales tactics put me off but a call from their now owner somehow persuaded me to give them a chance.

The damp proof course was done almost 12 months ago and has completely failed. Sadly, the company liquidised under the old owner so my guarantee is worth nothing.

More sickeningly, I recommended a friend for their damp proof course about a month before the liquidisation happened. The salesman let on that the company was opening a new side of their branch and deliberated which one to invoice us for. We didn't know at the time that he picked the one doomed to be liquidised. Not only did they leave my friends house in a dangerous damaged mess, after they took his money he found he wasn't covered for a guarentee either.

Total cowboys and their complaints handling was gaslighting and insincere. Please avoid.

Jim and Brandon Turned up promptly and work undertaken swiftly on both days. Downside is some of the mess left behind but that’s part of the course with damp proofing and re-plastering work.

All aspects of the job were done to a high standard, including the damp proofing and plastering. Any issues that arose were promptly and professionally dealt with.
