We contacted Lonnie Fowler at Panache Cruises in July of 2025 to help us plan a river cruise in Europe to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. After a number of ocean cruises on large ships we were wanting to experience a smaller vessel and with unique stops and excursion/extension options that gave us a better sense and understanding of the region we were visiting.

Lonnie found just the right cruise to fit our interests, our timeline, and the budget we had set for this celebration. We recently returned from the AMA Magna wine cruise on the Danube (Vilshofen to Budapest) and are happy to report that it greatly exceeded our expectations. Lonnie, Panache, and AMA did a great job of coordinating our travel with AMA air, a pre-cruise extension in Munich, and a schedule that allowed us some time on our own (post-cruise) to see Prague and also spend some time with our niece in Germany before returning home.

The service I received was excellent. The young lady who advised was very pleasant and helpful, and explained everything clearly.

This will be my first foray into cruising so I needed my “hand held” to be able to understand and navigate (pardon the pun) the process and Rob Ledsham was perfect in this regard. Nothing was too much trouble or insignificant for him. I really enjoyed his detailed explanations and our conversations - some of them not cruise related. A very personable and extremely efficient young man. I am most happy that he is my Cruise Ambassador and shan’t hesitate to ask him any questions that may pop up before I go in September (in fact he positively encouraged it). Excellent service.
