I have worked as a live-in/visiting carer through Patricia White’s for a number of years now and have been fortunate in working with many of their lovely clients and families. Gemma and Avril are both lovely to work with and have always been friendly, professional, easily approachable and always available for fair and reasonable advice or support.

The reasons for Patricia Whites making my experience great is that they have matched me to my perfect jobs. They have noted my strengths from previous experiences and have bespoke matching of clients and employees. This proves that they clearly care for their staff and clients. I find them a professional caring agency. This has been the best care agency i have worked for todate.

My sister and I contacted a number of agencies as we researched what would be the best solution for our Mum. We chose to select a carer from Patricia White’s as the agency that showed most empathy to our situation after recent bereavement of our Dad who had been her main carer.
To date, it has been a success. The carer has been sympathetic, understanding and worked with us as a family to get through these turbulent times. Thank you for the support.

I applied for a live-in carer position on December 12 through their website, but received no response. I also applied via email, but again, there was no reply. I reapplied on their website, still no response. I even messaged them on Facebook, but still got no reply. Finally, on January 3, Lucas Maxted responded to my email, asking me to apply on the website again, which I had already done. I mentioned this in my reply and asked for assistance in clarifying what to do next, BUT STILL NO RESPONSE! After all this, I don't want to work at a place where they don't care about their applicants. Despite the many positive reviews from clients (which, of course, they would be professional with, as they can make a lot of money from them), I do not recommend this company to anyone! Their behavior is outrageous!

I would like to recommend Patricia White’s. I registered with the company on a recommendation from my surgeon’s office in order to access care on a flexible basis after a recent operation.

I found the Patricia White’s office extremely helpful and easy to engage with. Gemma took a real interest in the arrangements I needed. Ema, the carer assigned to visit me was very professional, friendly, reliable and a most interesting companion.

I am delighted that having registered with PW for an affordable one-off fee I will be able to call on them with confidence for any care needs in the future.

I cannot praise the PW team enough. I signed on with them as a carer in 2020 and loved every minute. Avril and Gemma are so incredibly welcoming and kind. They were always there at the end of the phone or email if i needed them with any questions.

I truly believe that PW cares so much about not only their clients but their workers too. Making sure every match is suited perfectly. And checking in on you through out assignments. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming agency to join for care work. Or for anyone wondering who to trust with their loved ones. I can highly recommend Patricia White’s. It can be daunting - trusting care for your elderly mother. In this instance I needed a travel companion on a flight back from Asia. Everything went well, and I will be using PW again. Thanks and best wishes!

Juudit is AMAZING. The consummate professional - she brought out the BEST in me by seamlessly taking care of all my mobility needs, companion care (including movie nights) and participating on all excursions (without taking away ANYTHING from my enjoyment of the process)-- and great humor. All while being more than respectful of all family interactions.

Very responsive, and the care is excellent; we could not ask for more. Total peace of mind. Not only now (August and again this month), bit also 14 years ago when we needed care for my mother-in-law.

With only a few hours notice, The Patricia Whites Agency helped me through the formalities and found us a carer who was able to start the next day to care for my father who was suddenly discharged home to die. I cannot praise our carer, Thecla Greco, highly enough. She is cheerful, smiling and deeply sympathetic and empathetic. All of this with clear professionalism. She was so easy to deal with and her care of my father was really good. She worked well with his existing carer, and made sure that not only my father's needs but also the family needs were considered. We were both up till the early hours waiting for the out of hour GP and the undertakers and this morning, before, I arrived back, she had washed my father’s and her bedding, swept through and vacuumed! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a live in carer she has become a friend in these three hectic days.

Having been very reluctant to have a carer after an awful experience with one sent by a friend, the 2 carers (Shirley and Louise) provided by Patricia White's in July and August, have both been a great success. Helpful, friendly and generally making my life pleasant and much easier. I couldn't recommend Patricia White's more strongly.

Very helpful, supportive and efficient team

Patricia White’s provided live in care support for our mother and father from March 2022 until August 2023.

All of the carers provided were incredibly hard working, efficient and thorough in their care of both my 93 year old mother, who had dementia, and my 91 year old father, who suffered from multiple health concerns. They dealt with their care with professionalism, compassion and great attention to detail, liaising with the many organisations from surgery to pharmacy, ensuring proper attention and medication was always relevant and appropriate.

The carers developed an excellent working relationship with Mum and Dad. Their needs were at times unpredictable, particularly at night time, and the carers were always flexible and responsive.

During their time working with Mum and Dad, Mum suffered a stroke and sadly passed away a few days later at home. This was a challenging time for us as a family and we were fortunate to benefit from the Carers’ many years of experience supporting clients at the end of life. They helped us understand what was happening and provided support not just to Mum and Dad, but to me and my siblings, with respect and empathy.

The carers provided by Patricia Whites have all been excellent communicators with sound judgment. We established a WhatsApp group to share information and they would send us regular updates. If they had any concerns, they would let us know, but in a measured way so as not to cause alarm.

In addition to the excellent care they gave to both Mum and Dad, the carers ran the house very efficiently and looked after it as their own.

We are grateful to the office team at Patricia Whites, who have worked tirelessly to provide our parents with the best care. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for live in care services.

I was very pleased that you introduced Claire Reynolds to me. She was a charming companion and carer. Both as a friend and an excellent cook, we had many happy times together and l was sorry when she left. I look forward to having her again as a carer when she comes back to the UK from South Africa in the new year.

I would highly recommend this company, I enquired for my mother and had many calls with Avril and Gemma over the proceeding months, I felt reassured and listened to and when we ready to register it was simple and we were given choice of carers - Maggie came and made such a difference to our lives and mum has thrived in her care

The staff at Patricia White's respond quickly to calls and emails. They seem to take on board my comments when suggesting new carers.

Patricia White's provides carers for our mother. They are absolutely wonderful and have transformed her life and ours.
