Overpriced parking at Radisson Stanstead
We stayed at Radisson Blu Stanstead the night before our holiday. We were not offered or given car parking that we had paid for and was in our confirmation email. The hotel is not interested in our complaint and clearly think it was acceptable to charge us £360 if we wanted to leave our car with them. The hotel itself was very comfortable but the staff weren’t able to sort out our complaint. It spoiled the start of our holiday and cannot recommend staying there as they do not have any complaints procedure and do not seem to care!
Dismissive and unhelpful staff
We stayed at the Radison Blu in Manchester. We were booked in and dismissed without anyone explaining which floor our room was on or having any of the hotel amenities explained to us before she turned heel and walked away. We had to ask a restaurant staff member who was very helpful.
We paid for parking and upon return, after a delayed flight, the member on the desk had no idea where our car was as they had written zone 2 on the paper and they have no zone 2! When we complained as it was 3:30am and we would have to scour the car park to look for it he shrugged and said it’s not our fault it’s the airport parking. My contract and payment was to the Radison, not Manchester airport parking. I booked as a special treat to begin a special holiday for myself and a friend. It was the most expensive to stay and park but I wanted a treat. It was far from that.
I have written 2 emails of complaint to the Manchester branch and both have been ignored. I will be looking how to escalate it higher. Incredibly disappointing and would not recommend at all.
George @ Sheffield Pinstone St
Visited Sheffield Pinstone St branch on 30 Aug. Fabulous chicken dish and prosecco, but most exceptional was the service by George. He's a real asset to your business.
Terrible customer service
My husband had accrued over 250 000 points by using Radisson hotels for business stays over 5 years. My mum and I decided to book a trip to London to stay at the Radisson park plaza in June 2026 to celebrate my mum's 70th.
We were going to use the points and we needed to pay an additional £300. Unfortunately my mum injured her knee quite badly (torn meniscus and fracture) meaning we couldn't go on the trip. We informed the hotel in plenty of time and asked for the booking to be changed to September (to give my mum time to recover).
The hotel not only didn't honour our request they also took all of my husband's points!!
We confronted the hotel group about this but they absolutely don't care about their customers as they still proceeded to cancel all of my husband's points.
My husband's company frequently use the Radisson group for business stays but we have made sure that they heard of the terrible customer service and they are looking at other hotel groups for travel.
I am extremely disappointed that such a large hotel group would treat their customers like this.
Radisson Blu Liverpool – Extremely Poor Customer Service
At check-in, I was told a £50 deposit would simply be placed as a temporary card hold. However, the money left my account and, despite considerable time passing, I still have not received the £50 back.
What made the situation considerably worse was the way it was handled at reception. A member of staff asked to see my Monzo bank statement and then took a photograph of the screen as evidence that the money had left my account. I have subsequently asked what happened to this photograph, where it was stored and whether it has been deleted, but have received no satisfactory explanation. This is particularly concerning given that it contained personal financial information.
I then dealt with Ethan Sharples from Reservations, who told me the £50 had been released by the hotel and that I should wait up to seven working days. Unfortunately, Ethan was not particularly helpful in resolving the issue, and after I followed up because the money had still not been returned, he stopped responding to my emails altogether.
I find that level of customer service extremely poor. If a guest raises concerns about missing money and the handling of their personal banking information, simply ceasing communication is unacceptable.
I have still not received my £50, nor have I been given a proper explanation about what happened to the photograph of my bank statement.
Overall, what should have been a straightforward stay has turned into an unnecessarily stressful experience involving an unresolved £50 deposit, concerning handling of personal information and very poor follow-up customer service.
I would strongly recommend avoiding the Radisson Blu Liverpool.
Awful experience
Arrived at the hotel to be told that we didn't have a room booked and that they'd checked with Experian (who I had no dealings with) who told them that I hadn't even paid for a room, even though the cash had gone from my account and I had a booking confirmation.
I understand that this was some computer issue, but if the system is overbooking people into a hotel and taking their money, then it doesn't work. I drove 60 miles to the hotel, got told I didn't have a room, so had to drive 60 miles back home again, ruining my weekend with friends and losing money for an activity the following day (which nobody is interesting in compensating me for). Nothing in place to deal with issues like this. No concern as to whether we would have to sleep on the streets all night or not, and being treated and spoken to as if we'd done something wrong by the hotel. Leaving people distraught without anywhere to stay in the middle of a city they don't live in is pretty disgusting.
Because of the attitude of the employees and the rotten way we were treated, I would never consider this overpriced and rather scruffy looking hotel again.

Holes in carpet and scruffy room
STANSTEAD RADISSONBLU HOTEL
Scruffy room with holes in carpet and damaged furniture. Not a 4 star experience, more like a 1 star and that would be generous. Avoid....
They charge me twice
I stayed in Radisson Blue Leicester Square in November. They charged me twice the room. I contacted them 6 times. I got finally an email where they confirmed the double charge and untill now they have not refund me. Unbelievable!!!!!
Stinky room
Check in took 30 minutes as the assistant couldn’t work out 3 rooms booked under 1 booking for some reason
The room stinks of stale water/sewer. We found out when we showered why. The wet room doesn’t drain and water stays as a lake. You can’t go back in the bathroom without shoes on
The bar was freezing with people huddled by a fire or wearing coats.
This is Leeds city centre.
Rats infestation inside the hotel Radisson Blu Bristol
We visited the Radisson Blu in Bristol with the intention of having a drink at the bar. However, we were alarmed to notice a rat under our table consuming leftover food. The sight was astonishing and deeply concerning. We left immediately, before the rat even had time to hide. The experience was thoroughly unacceptable.

£152 for one night and no water is available in your room..
And the breakfast was stone cold, I complained via email and if anything I was further abused saying it was probably all my fault..Needless to say I will not be using Radisson in future..

Extremely disappointing!
The rooms at London Stansted are outdated, dark, and dingy, with little effort made to create a comfortable or welcoming atmosphere.
Dining was a particular disappointment. I ordered the butter chicken with rice, naan, and poppadoms (£22.50) plus Chinese chicken noodles listed at £24 but charged at £25. Drinks included a still water (£4.25) – essentially tap water in a Radisson Blu branded bottle, not genuine bottled water – and an Aperol Spritz, advertised at £8 but charged at an astonishing £15.99. On top of this, a £6.77 service charge was added, bringing the total to £74.51.
For that price, the quality was shockingly poor. The noodles were nothing more than packet noodles with a few onions and peppers, sprinkled with five-spice and topped with four thin strips of chicken that resembled something from a frozen Birds Eye pack. The butter chicken was bland and far from authentic.
Overall, this was a disgraceful experience at a premium price point. For a hotel carrying the Radisson Blu name, the standards here are unacceptable, far from 4*. I will not be staying again, nor would I recommend it to anyone expecting quality or value for money.
***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***
***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***
Please avoid Radisson Blu Marblearch at all costs. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL EVER AND I AM A VERY FREQUENT TRAVELER.
- LIFT OUT OF SERVICE FOR 1 week and was expected to take 3 flights of stairs with my pregnant wife.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE APPALLING
- THEY MIXED UP THE ROOMS AND HAD ME SEPARATED FROM MY KIDS AND WIFE SLEEPING IN DIFFERENT ROOMS
- THE STENGE FROM THE ROOMS AND MATTRESSES WAS UNBELIEVABLE.
I have raised all my concerns with their head office and customer care team and they did not acknowledge my complaint. I am now seeking legal advice to sue them for this as my kids have been subjected to bed bugs bites.
I came over from Oman for holiday and treatment and was left with this.
An Almost Inedible Meal. Flaccid Gammon and Rock Hard Egg
We had a 3 hour stopover at Stansted between journeys and decided to walk over the the Radisson for a relaxed meal. We felt the Radisson name to be indicative of quality, sadly it was not!!
I ordered gammon and fried egg, and my wife had Indian buttered chicken. The meal arrived promptly, but the gammon was like a large, undercooked bacon rasher. Flaccid and unpleasant. The egg on top was rock hard and, at my request was replaced after 10 minutes and 2 reminders by another. My wife's chicken dish was sloppy and more like a stew than anything refined! We had a glass of Merlot each with the meal.
The bill was £86, and unbelievably we were charged separately for the replacement egg!!
I booked a twin room
I booked a twin room, the booking was accepted, then I got a email saying that they could not guarantee a twin room.
I emailed them back and said give me my money back then.
They replied saying sorry but they could now confirm that I would get a twin room.
Of course when I arrived I was told that no twin room was available and if I didn't like it, I was free to find another hotel.
Stressful experience
Have been trying to book a room and parking with Radissonblu Stansted airport. Tried the app wouldn’t take my payment, rang customer bookings, what a nightmare. Staff don’t seem to know what they are doing, put on hold 3 times, still couldn’t give me a price for the booking. Gave up in disgust.

I booked two family rooms for three…
Worst Nightmare - Never Ever Book with Radisson !!!! I booked two family rooms for three nights in Radisson Blu, South Kensington, London with full payment in advance. I have been staying at Radisson Blu hotels in Oslo, Glasgow, Manchester and the experience has been very good - based on which the Radisson Blu brand hotel in South Kensington was booked rather blindly and solely on trust basis. It turned out to be the worst nightmare experience of my entire travelling and hotelling life (50+ years). This particular hotel is a total fraud. Never ever will I book any hotel with Radisson brand. The staff was totally oblivious to catering for customer demands and was knowlingly looking away (except for one very nice reception counter staff who booked us in and tried to be as helpful as she could but she was overtaken by the 'European' staff members who had probably sworn not to listen to customers - and I wasn't the only one complaining there). I had to leave the hotel after the first night and the staff refused to reimburse the remaining amount citing booking conditions which are draconian when it comes to showing consideration to someone's hard-earned savings. SHAME ON YOU RADISSON BLU (and ex-Vanderbilt Hotel, South Kensington).
