Sceptical but they love it!
I was sceptical after I bought it whether my two fur babies would like this. It took them a week or so but now they both love it - one upstairs and one downstairs - they are in it constantly!

Return Experience a Nightmare!
I would like to give Stimulicat no stars considering the experience I had! I ordered 3 sets of the baskets and mats.
I didn’t care for them and my cats did not like them so I followed their refund policy. Let me tell you something important! You don’t want to deal with these people even though they offer returns. You can’t simply return the item. You have to email them for permission to return the item. They will then hassle you to keep the product. Although they clearly state, you can return an item if you don’t care for it, don’t trust them! When I jumped through all their hoops and attempted to return the items I was horrified to find out that these have to be returned to the Netherlands, even though there is no such information given on their site about that. The lowest rate I could find to return two of the small baskets and two of the mats was $700 UPS. I was absolutely horrified! I later read online that I am not the only person who encountered this problem.Fortunately, I am able to reverse the charges, but I would never suggest anyone buy from this company again. Not to mention I found out later you can buy these same products on Amazon! I am just a regular buyer of products for my cats and not a person who returns many items.

Since the products were not damaged, defective, or incorrect, and the reason for the return was simply that your cats did not take to them, the return shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility under our return policy.
We completely understand that cats can be very particular. Unfortunately, we cannot control whether an individual cat will choose to use a new bed or mat. That is why we offer a return option for customers whose cats do not take to the products, even when the products themselves are in good condition.
We also want to clarify that your return request was not ignored or refused. Our team responded, explained the return requirements, and provided the information needed to proceed with the return.
We respect that the products were not the right fit for you, and we’re sorry the experience left you disappointed. We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to make the return process clearer and easier for our customers.

This company is a joke! The prices are ridiculous also! Their returns policy is a joke and their customer service is also! There are other sites with the exact same with THEIR logo on for fraction of the price! Company’s really don’t give a **** anymore for customers all about the money! Avoid and spend your money on better things the cats will get more time and usage with!

I purchased the basket under the…
I purchased the basket under the premise that if my cat wasn't into it, that they would return it, no questions asked. It arrived. It was not as nice or well made as I expected. If the cat took to it, I'd be ok with it. As long as he is happy.
Fast forward, my cat is not into it. No way Jose. Anyway, I reached out to them. They gave me multiple road blocks to deter me of returning it. Then they finally caved after a few attempts and sent me their demands of how they wanted the return.
Must not be used, send it to this address with tracking.
SEND IT TO THE NETHERLANDS WITH TRACKING. It costs substantially more than the product sold for. What a scam. If you are going to do business in the United States, you must establish a return center in the United States. Because of the various hoop they ask you to jump through and the fact that they ask you to send it to the Netherlands with a tracking number...they are definitely banking on this. Without a doubt, they are scammers. Buyer beware. What a load of crap. Do not but from this company.

I purchased the instinct basket for our girls!
I purchased the instinct basket for our two cats, Penny and Dominique. The baskets are incredibly well constructed and beautiful in appearance. As of this review, Penny has embraced the baskets with great joy. She is the dominant of the two. Dominique has been slow to adopt but I'm confident that she will be a convert as well. I'm so very, very happy with this purchase.

Not true to size!
Not sure how they can say, the larger bed is for 15 plus bounds of cat. I have two 17 1/2 pounds each and neither will be able to fit let alone sleep in these. I bought two of the large and very disappointed. Sad

Initially, my cat did a little sniffing, but otherwise did not mess with the basket. Then she started to play with the ball attached to the basket, but still did not get in. I removed the cushion, and now she loves getting in to relax.

My 1 year old Tabby finally has a bed she loves!!
My one year-old orange tabby, Pumpkin fell in love with her basket and the rope ball by the end of the first day. I was hesitant about ordering it because I have bought so many cat beds, pillows and blankets for her in the last 9 months but she doesn’t like any of them no matter how soft and comfy they were. So when I read that the Stimulicat basket actually absorbs her scent and makes it their own and the special rope weaving is done in a way to help trim cats nails naturally I had to try it. Best decision I’ve made in a while. The shipping was fast and it arrived in perfect condition. I’ll be ordering the grooming glove next.

I have bought two of these, one from Stimulicat and one from Amazon. The one from Stimulicat is far superior right out of the package - sturdier and already popping into shape without my having to wrestle with it. Highly recommend this one and my cat Tank was in it within 30 seconds of my opening the bag it came in.

I have a very picky cat
I have a very picky cat who usually has to examine every little thing about what I buy for her. I bought the bed and hoped she would like it and as soon as I unpacked it and put it on the floor she jumped in and went to sleep not even a walk around it first. I was shocked. Now I can get rid of all the other beds and blankets she ignores. I thought it a fluke until this morning when I saw her sleeping in it and not on the couch like always. Well worth the money.

It fits them just right!
My cats took right to the bed, especially Stormy. He has spent hours in it. Pepper loves it too when he can get a turn. It fits them right exactly in it's circle.I haven't seen them kneading on it yet, though. Are they supposed to like that?

We'd like to clarify the delivery timeline for those reading this review. According to our records, your order was shipped on July 27 and delivered on August 7, which was 11 days from shipment to delivery, rather than two weeks.
As for the baskets themselves, cats can react very differently to new products. Some cats jump right in, while others may need more time to become comfortable with a new bed or unfamiliar object. We understand, however, that every cat is different and that this experience wasn't what you were hoping for.
