They never answer. I never got my order and never got the refund.

Half of the items received were damaged and it's impossible to speak to their customer service to get a refund. Poorest customer service I've ever experienced. If you send them an email, they guarantee a response within 48 hrs. Yeah, bruh don't get your hopes too high. It won't happen.
Very poor quality blender and frying pan
Very poor quality items, and the absolutely refuse to take anything back that has been used even if it won't work or is flawed.. Cast iron frying pan with white ceramic inside - permanently badly stained after 2nd use simply by heating up some walnuts. Can not be scrubbed clean no matter what, yet the manager Joan at Kings Crossing Kingston refused to take it back.
Then there was the blender which I could not even make work. Tried for an hour to get it to just run and finally found that you have to tighten the base on it so tight you think you'll break it to make the limit switches connect. Since this was for my 94 year old mother I tried to take it back to the store yet John refused to take it back because it had been used once. I told her it was very very very difficult to get it to turn on yet she couldn't care less. Buy your kitchenware at Canadian Tire or Costco but not at Stokes. Pathetic. The reason they have a sale all the time is for a reason. They are selling garbage.

Ordered a slushie drink maker and it got delivered to the wrong address due to stokes putting a wrong address on the box without my phone number. Then got returned to sender and then i asked for them to resend it and they just refunded my order.
Zero customer service
I ordered pasta dishes, martini glasses and a soda water dispenser during the black Friday sale. It took over 2 weeks to arrive and 2 email follow ups to see where it was. The boxes arrived broken, the pasta dishes are smashed and some of the glasses are chipped. I have emailed countless times, called and left voicemails(there is no way of actually speaking to anyone) and tried to send photos of the damaged but their email site will not allow the photos to attach despite compressing them. So frustrating. The only response I received told me to take them to a store for refund or replacement. I ordered them on line because I do not live anywhere near a stokes. I will never order from this company again. I am trying to support Canadian businesses but will not be able to use them again. Still waiting for a genuine reply and help from this company. Terrible experience.

Placed on order Nov 28. Been already more than 2wks and my order is still processing. I reached out to customer service by writing email twice but no response from the team. Nowherw to find their phone number so stuck with an order that is unsure if it gets fullfilled or not.

J’ai acheté un mousseur à lait vendredi dernier avec une garantie 30 jours en magasin. Je l’ai essayé et celui-ci mousse très mal le lait. J’ai tenté de le retourner en magasin. On m’a dit qu’ils ne font pas, car je l’ai utilisé. Et ça après m’avoir fait revenir 2 fois. J’écris à la compagnie, ça fait 5 jours que je transige avec eux. Ils veulent absolument que je leur envoie une vidéo du lait. Comme si je n’avais pas le droit d’être insatisfaite du produit. Je dois perdre mon temps à dealer avec eux. Avoir su j’aurais acheté sur une plate-forme en ligne et le retour aurait été très simple. Le service à la clientèle est médiocre et les produits sont vendus avec de fausses garanties. N’y aller pas.
Livraison interminable et aucun service après-vente
La livraison prend une éternité et on ne vous donne pas d'explications ni de délais.
N'ayez surtout pas de problèmes avec la livraison, comme toute la vaisselle cassée, car le service après-vente est nul, malgré les photos, les courriels et les textos, plus personne ne répond.
Vaisselle payée mais arrivée cassée.
Ne commandez pas avex eux via le Web. Aucun service.
No support from the company, Don't trust their product
I bought a Remy Olivier cookware in September 2024 and the glass lid was cracked by itself in June 2025. It has a 25 years warranty on it. I went to the store but they told me to contact the manufacturing directly. However the Remy Olivier website is not valid. I contacted the Stokes office by email in early July and it supposed to get a response in 48 hours. Finally someone in the office replied by email after 4 weeks" Unfortunately we don't have the parts, sorry".
This produce is still available at the Stokes store but they can't give you warranty.
I will not trust this company or their products.
Stokes ne veut pas me rembourser un item non reçu !
J'ai fait une commande en ligne et j'ai payé pour 4 items. Dans la même journée, j'ai reçu un message téléphonique disant que le 4e item n'était plus en inventaire et que je serais remboursée. Et j'ai reçu une nouvelle facture avec 3 items. Sauf que, je n'ai jamais été remboursée et le service à la clientèle n'a reçu que la 2e facture. Alors on me dit que Stokes ne me doit rien ! C'est frustrant de devoir payer pour l'erreur d'une commis qui clairement ne sait pas comment faire un remboursement !
Terrible Service
Terrible Service. Waited for instructions to return an item got a number but no address or shipping instructions. When I returned the item using the address on the invoice it was returned saying the store was closed. I emailed them about this because they are supposed to pay the shipping for the return. I sent the parcel back and never hear from them. They gave me a return amount for the item purchased but still out the money for shipping. Don’t buy thinks from there.
The customer service of Stokes head…
The customer service of Stokes head office & managerial staff in some stores are appalling. They advertise lots of items for sale and checking their stores, for a particular item was told it has not been in stock for a long time. Tried to get in touch with their head office to tell them about the problem & ask for a postage waiver because of the length of time the item is not stocked in the stores, but on calling the 1-800 number was told the number is not in service anymore. Try to "chat" online that doesn't work either. There's an email form to fill out, but one cannot help but wonder if that works, or would they even answer. Having such a bad experience I would NOT recommend shopping at Stokes. Their clerks are helpful, but cannot say the same about some of their managerial staff and their head office. Reading other reviews, I see I am not the only one with a bad experience from that company.
Arrogance does not serve customers well

But when we asked what we were supposed to do now without the toaster, his arrogant response was shocking. He quipped, " there are lots of other breakfast options!" Huh?! That is NOT customer service. that is downright RUDE. Very unimpressed with Stokes, Southcentre mall, Calgary.

Total scammers, avoid! No one to contact when problems happen

Contacted customer service immediately with the problem and 3 weeks later no response. Will be doing a credit card chargeback. Avoid these scammers!
Would never buy from them again
I bought a set of pots online that arrived with a broken lid. 6 months later and a lot of time invested I have given up on getting a replacement lid. They will make promises and then not deliver. And in the midst of this issue the company has been acquired and the poor service from before has become epically worse. I will not buy from them again.
Received dinnerware set and glass set…
Received dinnerware set and glass set shattered. Emailed ecommerce day of delivery for exchange/refund process as I am an hour away from the closest store. I was expecting to get a shipping label to return products but I never received a reply. I emailed a second time a week later and still no reply. Guess I'll be making a drive for a refund and never shopping with them again which is a shame because it's a Canadian company.

Delivered at the wrong address
I ordered a set of pots online, but Purolator delivered them to the wrong address, I contacted Purolator which was a joke, they told me there was nothing they could do, told me to contact customer services at Stokes which I did never got an answer. I even called my local store and they told me there was nothing they could do either. I am getting frustrated with the turn around.
