The company does not honor its own warranty. The sales people will say whatever it takes to get the sale, then the client is left on their own when a product stops working halfway within the warranty period.
Absolutely great customer service
Absolutely great customer service! I bought a mixmaster a few years ago and I broke the flange on the top of the beater. They replaced it free of charge and prepaid the shipping even. No hassles or problems!

I purchased the Moscow Mule Cups from Stokes. I was so disappointed! After three washes, they all tarnished. It was such a disappointment. I emailed customer service, along with images of the mugs, without any reply. Terrible customer service. I will not recommend reaching out because they ignore their customers.

Ok full disclosure, I have not received my online purchase yet. I just ordered it today. BUT I entered the wrong shipping information when I placed my order, and was disappointed to call and find out their phone lines are not available for customer service.
I quickly emailed their online customer service, and the rep assigned to me, Stephanie, got back to me within 5 minutes!! I am just very impressed at how quickly they handled my request.

Je me suis présentée pour récupérer un achat en ligne au Stokes de Place Ste - Foy. L’article était payé, j’avais reçu la confirmation que c’était prêt à récupérer et j’étais à l’intérieur des 7 jours de la commande.
La vendeuse m’a dit que la commande avait été annulée pcq ils ne l’avaient pas préparée dans les délais. Que j’allais être remboursée et que c’était normal que je n’aie eu aucun avis de ça. Don't trust their website reviews
I actually wrote a review on one of their products on their website. It wasn't a good review as the dinnerware I purchased starting marking very easily (which shows on a white set) not long after starting to use. Interestingly enough my review does not show on their site. Only the 4 and 5 star reviews do. This is the first time I have written a negative review as I have had good products from their store but don't trust their reviews.

I have currently been emailing Melyssa at their customer service for online orders.
The product I purchased had a $10.01 price drop which we sorted out but my refund does NOT include HST paid on purchase.
It's not a large amount to be ripped off for but the snarky attitude is not necessary.
$10.01 + Hst $1.30 = $11.31
with my math comprehension.

Terrible customer service
I have no issue with the products Stokes sells or their stores, but I will never order anything online from them again. It started with unacceptable delays in processing my order (not shipping), which was placed in plenty of time to get by Christmas. Emails and phone calls went unanswered. Eventually, my package arrived after Christmas but one item was missing. While I was not charged for this item, it is still showing as shipped on my account and Stokes has not responded to my email asking if it would be shipped in the future. My daughter had similar experience with items arriving broken and no response from Stokes to her emails. Now you can't even leave a message on their customer service line! Yet they keep sending advertising emails and showing up in my FB feed. They clearly do not have the capacity to process the volume of orders received and their customer service is almost non-existant. Save yourself the aggravation - if you like their products, only buy in person at one of their stores.

Same issue my items all arrived damage and chipped last Dec 28,2020. Butter dishes and serving trays. One order was also sent as an open box, screws are missing and chipped on plate, so I assumed this was a return before and this is what they sent me.
I have sent them my first email on dec 28 No reply, then follow up Jan 8, 2021, Jan 13, 2021, Jan 17, 2021, still no reply.
And now I am so dissapointed, no call center to call too.
Not even sure anymore how can this get thru them.
Warehouse staff need training on how to package glass for shipping
I placed an order online and received a bundle of broken bowls. I contacted Customer Service and sent them photos of the poor packaging that caused the items to break. The Customer Service person was very nice, and re-shipped the order to replace my broken bowls. However, the warehouse packaged them exactly the same way (terrible) and I ended up with another bundle of broken glass. I contacted Customer Service again, sent photos again, and this time, they have not gotten back to me. It's been far more than the 72 hours they promise.

When I found two sets at Stokes Oshawa, Christina offered to check with other stores to see if she could find another set for me. In less than 24 hours she had located one and arranged for the district manager to pick it up. She called me once it was in. Thank you, Christina, for your great customer service! I really appreciated your help.
