My Xerox printer from the office at work has been with these guys since October. Thus far, I have paid 2 invoices, they have the printer and do not respond to my calls or messages! They have made a series of blunders along the way, including trying to charge me twice for labour, ordering the actual new parts to my work place as opposed to their workshop, and exceeding the 7 day lay-off time that they quoted me as waiting for parts - it has now been a couple of months and I am still waiting.... A gentleman named Paul came to collect the parts from my office and was supposed to return the printer the next working day! I was receiving correspondence from Karen Fley and Ian Hodgeson via email and telephone, up until a few weeks ago and now they too do not respond. This is a work job and my employment is in jeopardy! I have gone as far as explaining this in a message to them, yet, no response whatsoever! I cannot believe this is happening, this day and age. This is criminal and any potential customer needs to be aware of how these guys operate and how they will disengage with you - nothing short of thieves!!
UPDATE 10th Feb, 2025
It has taken several months, but I have the printer back in the office and the issue is now resolved. My thanks to Ian for picking up my job and getting the delivery arranged back to me.

Proving very difficult to get a refund for a cancelled job. Looks like small claims court is the only way forward. Very disappointed with lack of response from request to refund. Refund has been passed toa director to sign off - and thats as far as it gone almost a month later and no refund. Email after email been sent.
Update- seems to have ceased trading. Had a member of staff inform me. Not been paid and job gone.

Teffont's engineer Steve phoned ahead to update me on his ETA. Upon arrival he presented as polite, smartly dressed, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. He sourced and rectified the issues with my laser printer and set it working better than ever, all in good time. He is a credit to himself and Teffont Business Systems
When seeking a service provider for your office equipment, it can be time-consuming to find a reputable firm. However, a business contact provided me with the contact details for Teffont. After discussing our needs, the engineer arrived today, and I was pleasantly surprised by his exceptional skills and professionalism. He excels in his work, exudes professionalism, and is genuinely a pleasant individual. Highly recommend Teffont without the slightest hesitation.
Kerri, Immediately identified and was responsive to the problem, my problem. Pleasant telephone manner and excellent communication, i.e. keeping customer up to speed regards how and when problem will be resolved.
Confirmation of service call was done day before by Dave, and Paul rang re ETA on morning of call.
Communication is everything.
Problem resolved, service experience first class!

Engineer did a thourough clean and testing and advised that Cyan toner should be replaced as it was faulty. Contacted supplier who dispatched new toner and when fitted printer functions retuned to normal. Problems solved and printer works fine now!

First up - beware - these guys trick you into thinking you're dealing with a local company but instead they're based in Bristol and simply contract other companies to do their work.
But worse, they let you down. Had an appointment confirmed and when no-one turned up I was told I hadn't prepaid their invoice! No invoice was received and I spent a day waiting for nobody :(

Absolutely excellent service. Both Paul McLaverty and Paul McCormick attended Halton Kelly Estate Agent on separate occasions. Both were courteous and carried out their duties professionally. The cost to repair vs the cost to replace is kind of the first thing you consider when you discover a fault you are unable to resolve. With 30-40% toner levels and following a calibration test and a head cleaning cycle (or 6), we ran out of ideas and messaged Teffont on their website chat. Kerri answered and gave us a whole set of information and suggestions before we felt we needed to call them in to service our printer. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and generosity of time. We're exploring those suggestions this week and, if we need an engineer, Teffont are top of the list! Thanks so much!

When I recently required help with my laser printer I didn't know who to contact. I searched the internet and found Teffont Business Systems. How glad I am now that I found this company, as from Louise my initial contact to the service engineer who came everything was great. Everything was so well organised, I knew exactly when to expect the engineer to arrive as he contacted me the day before and then again half an hour prior to arrival. The repair was carried out in a timely and professional manner. I'll certainly be happy to use this company again.

Our first contact with the company, to diagnose a fault with our kyocera laser printer. Telephone call to Administration was efficient and courteous. Although we are not on a service contract, received an engineer visit within 3 working days. We were kept informed of visit date and time throughout. Service engineer worked quietly, neatly and tidily in our home office. He resolved the issue, explained what the problem was, and offfered advice if the problem should recur. Also told us that work was guaranteed for 30 days.

After much searching on the internet for a reliable and nearby printer repairer and after many telephone calls; whereby everyone said 'sorry we do not repair printers we are only printers (business cards, posters etc) and our name should not have been under printer repairers'
My final call was to Teffont Business Systems Ltd - Hurrah, a positive response to my enquiry , continuous paper jam (at least that's what the printer kept saying ). I state that this printer CM1415 fn is as old as the hills but has given me faithful service !!
The reception from Teffont, Ian Hodgson can only be described as exemplary and outstanding quality - knew exactly what I was talking about - suitably encouraged - payment was made and waiting for the part which arrived some days later - telephoned Teffont, as I was directed to by Ian, on day of the tool kit arriving engineer called few hours later ' Hello I am Rob the service engineer, may I come at 2.30 pm today?', today I exclaimed - yes please.
Rob arrived bang on 2.30 today (friday 15 december) - attended to everything fitted the part, serviced and cleaned the machine, asked if I had any quesitons, carried out print tests and tested to print some of my documents - he was well thanked and a nice cup of coffee' ! - Many thanks to excellent and outstanding quality of timely visit and attentiveness by Rob and to Ian Hodgson of Teffont - A BIG THANK YOU - Will certainly use on another occasion where required

Very efficient and dealt with my enquiry and subsequent repair professionally.
I had an HP laser printer where the paper output had jammed and wrapped around inside necessitating a disassemble of the machine and a clearing out of lots of little pieces of paper.
The charge was fair and the engineer, Steve Babbicombe, did a very good job in a timely manner.
Overall I'm very pleased with the whole company from Louise who's the initial contact, to the staff member who booked the job appointment and to the engineer who attended. I will certainly use this company again.

Ian answered my written enquiry within a few hours. He was polite, reassuring, and altogether willing to help me with my H.P. Colour Laser Jet Pro malfunctioning. It was simple to pay the pro-forma invoice. He passed me to another very polite efficient member of staff who arranged a prompt engineer callout. Steve the engineer called within a few hours to say he could come at 3pm. He was ultra efficient, highly knowledgeable, and a clean and tidy workman. Moreover, he was prepared to answer all my stupid questions respectfully, which the younger generation instinctively know, and do not have to ask,(I'm an octogenarian). My Laser Jet now works wonderfully well. I strongly recommend the team to you.

Unsure of our experience here. The call-out to our printer was dealt with very efficiently and someone was with us quickly. The problem couldn't be fixed there and so he took some diagnostics away with him. Since then we've heard nothing, a couple of emails to see where things are but no replies so at the minute it looks like we've paid £138 just for a call out. Hoping for a reply from them so I can give a full review.

I received an initial diagnosis over the phone based on their extensive experience, a replacement part via a courier within a day, and an engineer who undertook the work to the same high standards.
