Such bad service and determination to…
Such bad service and determination to avoid actually honouring the warranty that I felt obliged to check if this was a scam company.
They've kept on throwing up more and more preconditions to getting my car fixed.
First they needed proof of the most recent service. I gave this (email and receipt), then they wanted the service receipt and said they expected specific parts numbers etc.
Then they wanted the service details from before.
In between is a week of not having my car, them leaving email messages that they've tried to contact me - but no calls on my phone.
Its so bad that if they don't do something soon my MP and Trading Standards will be asked to take action - along with my solicitors.

As your plan had been active since 2025, the service document initially provided was completed in August 2026, as such this was not sufficient to support the repair for a turbo replacement as we would need evidence of the vehicle being maintained at the point of plan inception or within 30 days /1000 miles.
As we now have the previous service, which validates the repair request, an outcome has been issued to you. Our plan booklet and repair process email do advise what may be required, and forms part of the terms and conditions. As a turbo was needed, servicing evidence was required on this occasion to validate the repair request.

Excellent customer service from Melody and while I haven’t yet had to use Warranty First for car repairs, they way they manage communication, share key information and respond to questions is genuinely very good.

They are harassing the customers alot
They are harassing the customers alot, I was given my car outside of dealership. Then warranty first started harassing about puc and finally said no claims approved. This is the thing they need to tell while buying the policy

Our technicians whilst reviewing your repair request asked for images from the garage, this was requested several times, and eventually we were advised there were no images as the part had to be cut off due to being seized, had this been advised at the point of submitting the diagnosis and quotation, we would not have needed images and an outcome could have been provided at that stage.
Since then the outcome of the repair has been provided, and authorisation will be issue in due course.
Our process is outlined clearly in the plan booklet provided to you at the point of plan inception, and is also sent via email whenever a repair request is opened.

Shocking
Shocking, shocking, shocking. Couldn’t even cancel the monthly payment on the policy , so l could cover all the cost via another payment plan. I have now got no vehicle now and a warranty that covers bugger all. Just under £3000 to pay out and no way to pay it. No trust on these people whatsoever
