We have worked with Rhia at boardwalk and of all the estate agents I’ve encountered previously, she has by far been the best. Upon viewing the property, she had all the information to hand and quickly got back to us with any questions we had. She also was really supportive during the offer process and was just really friendly!

We first met Rhia while viewing properties with Boardwalk and immediately appreciated how personable and approachable they were.

Boardwalk helped sell our flat in Southville. The app they these used was great as you can track how many viewings and offers. They were always available for any questions and helped move the sell along in a timely way.

Rhia (and colleagues) did a wonderful job in facilitating the sale of our house. Right from the start of the process with the property valuation Rhia was extremely prepared and knowledgeable of the local market and we knew that she was someone that we could trust to sell our house.

The whole process of the sale was completed 4 months after the property was listed, and throughout this time Rhia maintained excellent communication and provided helpful insights when we had questions or concern.

We recently sold our property with boardwalk, Rhia and alicja were amazing. From the very start rhia was always available to answer any questions we had, and put us at ease from the very start. kept us up to date constantly about how the viewings went, and gave us great feedback. Our house sold within a week or so and I think a lot of that was down to boardwalk and rhia’s experience. Alicja again kept us up to date through the whole sales process, informing us of important updates and delays. She was always available to us when we needed her. And put us as ease when things got complicated. It was our first time selling a home and buying another and we didn’t know quite how stressful it would be, Alicja took the stress out of the process for us. Rhia and Alicja were available right up until we got the keys to our new home. I would recommend boardwalk to anyone. And would definitely recommend rhia and alicja!

Made the selling of our Step-Father’s house an easy process. Helpful insight from Nick beforehand so we could make sure it was in the best condition to sell, which meant it wasn’t on the market long and sold for more than we expected. Then great support from Ellis throughout the process to ensure the sale went through nice and quickly.

Although our first sell fell through they were quick to act to resurrect a second which was successful. The exchange and completion went smoothly. Would recommend them to others.

I had a flawless experience selling my house with Boardwalk recently. Rhia is so knowledgeable, calm and helpful, she made the whole process feel relatively easy and stress-free (not words you would normally associate with selling a house!) She kept me updated throughout and ensured everything was moving along at a good pace at all times. Boardwalk have been really efficient in getting our sale through. Ruby was very communicative at all stages throughout the progression of the sale, even when things (as they sometimes do!)slowed down.

Please be very wary before instructing Boardwalk to sell your property - you could end up losing a thousands of pounds on the sale of your house, as we did.

You will be bowled over when they attend for the valuation by their Insta perfect photos and their glossy booklets. Little do you know you will end up conducting most of the viewings yourself, as (in our case at least) they didn't have anyone to conduct viewings on Saturdays. That professional agent who assured you he would undertake most of the viewings for your property, and manage the process throughout? He will undertake one viewing for you. The glossy online portal? It won't be updated.

You will then be told the wrong date for viewings, and won't be informed when a survey is cancelled.

Worst of all, when just before exchange, when your buyer indicates they want to re-negotiate, your agent from Boardwalk will send an email to your buyer indicating that you are "keen to agree £5k off", despite this being completely untrue. When you try to undo the damage and insist you are not "keen to agree £5k off", your buyer will quite rightly indicate they had thought this was agreed, and had already instructed their mortgage broker of the revised agreed price. When you complain to Boardwalk, they will tell you that you ultimately had the choice not to agree to proceed with the £5,000 reduction; whilst this is true, Boardwalk had created a situation via their negligence whereby we either lost our sale and onward purchase, or lost £5,000.

When you raise concerns with Boardwalk following completion, the negligence and failure to provide a competent standard of service will be justified as your agent "works part time", "we had no available staff on the Saturday" and told that "as a board of Directors we are quite shocked in all honesty" that you request the £5,000 back via a reduction in Boardwalk's agency fee.

We deeply regret instructing Boardwalk. You will be convinced that it won't happen to you, but please don't take the risk and instruct one of the many other local agents you have to choose from. This is likely the most important (and stressful) transaction of your life, and you need a trustworthy and competent agent.

While two other agencies failed to find qualified buyers Boardwalk quickly found interested parties and sold my property within a good timeframe. I would definitely recommend their services.

We found our apartment through Boardwalk, who were friendly and helpful, and arranged our viewing really quickly, whilst avoiding any pushy sales pitch which we really appreciated.
