Very slow shipping
Out of six well known off road suppliers extreme terrain is the slowest shipping. All parts ordered at the same time, three suppliers are much farther away, and extreme terrain was the last to show up. If you need parts fast, this is not the place

Absolutely hate this company
Absolutely hate this company. Have me the wrong part 3 different times you try to send me a refund and it never goes though. Your guys say they will not send me a check and has tk be in-store credit which is absolutely redicoluous that i have to buy more parts with my "re fund" money. A refund im supposed to get my money back not with you guys though. Once this store credit goes yeah I will never be buying from the company ever again. I can never access my orders even tike I try to it wont let me. All you guys do if offer instore credit. I just want MY MONEY BACK.

Trash, just scam artist. Bait and switch. I had open box items in my cart, which I want to purchase but at check out they switched it out to new box items driving the cost up $500 without informing me. I ordered at 9pm the night before and then called back at 9am the next morning. They lied and repeatedly told me it shipped already but couldn't give me a tracking number for hours, how convenient. They offered me 20 dollars in store credit, like I would ever spend money with that place again. Buy direct that place is a clown show.

Crossbar Hardware Missing!!
I ordered crossbars for my Jeep so I could install overhead storage for my cross country move. I ordered them in early May and received them within a week, however, ALL of the hardware was missing. I reached out several times to Extreme Terrain and explained that I needed the hardware immediately because I was moving out of state on June 8th. I did not receive the hardware in time, so I had to pay a shop that had the parts, to do it for me. I also had to have them install the over head storage for me as well because I could not do it by myself. The installation cost me $400. I paid $100 for the crossbars and $300 for the overhead storage container. This is so upsetting. I drove 3 hours to my father in laws house to have him help me install the crossbars when I received them. Only to discover that we didn’t have what we need. I took a huge hit financially and had this additional stress while preparing for my move. I received the missing hardware at my new residence a few days ago, a full month after I called in to get the hardware immediately. I recommend NOT ordering product from them.

We are disappointed to hear that you when the cross bars were delivered, you were missing the hardware. Please know this is not indicative of the level of service we strive to provide to our customers. Your frustration for this inconvenience is understandable.
When you contacted us regarding the missing hardware/parts, we sent a request to the manufacturer and asked if they could ship the parts to you. We show that they did ship the parts our and they were sent to the new address in Texas, as requested. We show the parts were delivered on 6/15.
Carrie, we do apologize for this situation. Due to this experience, we issued a credit to your ExtremeTerrain account. This credit can be used on a future order and is valid until 9/30/2026.
