Ordered flowers to be delivered to a funeral service for the following day. Told there was no issues. However, when I saw that I received a refund the following day, I questioned whether my flowers were delivered. I was told no that there was a supply issue, and my flowers could not be delivered to the funeral. Was never informed that the flowers were not going to be delivered. Why bother to take the order? I could have found a reparable florist. I guess I should have read the reviews first! Very very unprofessional!

Would give NO star if possible. A charge was on my bill thatsaid "service charge" which was in addition to but not not listed by the charge for the arrangement. I have not had this experience with other florists I have ordered from. I called to talk to someone-rang numerous times, finally got a human, they put me on hold, then disconnected. I live far away from relatives so order often. I fear this is just a rip off from an disreputable dealer. Will have to dispute with credit card company

I purchased a deluxe bouquet of flowers from Flowers by Nora, which cost 💲 88.00. They were delivered today and the bouquet was skimpy with minimal flowers. I would have been better off buying flowers at the grocery store. Please learn from me and don’t buy from them, let them go bankrupt.

HUGE SCAM!!! They pretend to be a local florist when in fact they’re not. I called and placed an order with them before 9 am for flowers to be delivered for my daughter’s birthday in Arlington, Virginia. The total for my order was $104!!! They promised delivery by noon. I called them 4 different times during the day… everytime got a different person from the call center (!!!) on the phone.. finally they said flowers were delivered at 5 pm… guess what NO FLOWERS!!!! I got scammed for $105. AVOID At All Costs!!!

Gilroy, CA Flowers by Nora. Buyer Beware! Ordered a $60 arrangement + delivery for a dear friend's 70th birthday. The total ended up being $89! When it arrived, it didn't resemble at all what the picture online looked like. I sent them a picture of their flowers, which was somewhat comparable to a $20 bouquet from a grocery store; it would actually be better. Flowers by Nora sent me a link stating that they had done what I asked. Don't trust the pictures.

I agree with everyone's review here. Their website makes you think you are calling a local vendor and then wham outta nowhere you're speaking to someone you can't understand. As with others, I was in a hurry on Monday for a funeral on Tuesday the website guaranteed same day delivery. My friend indicated the flowers never arrived. When I first called I could barely understand the CSA I was speaking to due to a heavy accent. He said he would call me back after arguing with me I believe hard to say only caught every 3rd. He said they were delivered at 3:39 PM on Tuesday long after the funeral was over.
Here is the strange part, I also ordered flowers on behalf of my company on a different card. For this one they said they refunded my money and cancelled the order...no communication what so ever. Please it made a difficult day for everyone envolved and I am devasted. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS vendor and be aware, they are listed under other business names as well. Caveat Emptor

I should have checked reviews first. But, the website said they were a "local" (same city) company for the funeral I was ordering flowers for. I trusted this and wanted my flower arrangement order to be from a local business. They charged my credit card and never delivered the arrangement. I received no delivery confirmation from them either. I had to ask someone who could attend the service if the arrangement I ordered was there. They told me no. Do not use Flowers by Nora. All of the reviews you are reading are all true.

The arrangement was delivered with the large flower heads drooping, many leaves on various stems had brown tips, the water was already cloudy and the arrangement was supposed to have been made just hours earlier. The sad looking arrangement lasted 4 days.

Shitty business. All I can say. Never use it. Please spread the word.

Avoid at all costs. They had a very special order for flowers to be delivered to my daughter. They were professional on the phone, but a day later buried in my email was notification that they could not fullfill my order, no explanation. They were to be delivered on an anniversay and had I not called, I would never had known. I immediately ordered from another florist who has promised to deliver today, saving this very special day (I hope). Service charge added for my "free delivery". Terrible disappointment.

CRITIQUE ON THE VENDOR: “FLOWERS BY NORA”
It appeared to be a local florist on the website that did local deliveries. What I found out was this is a national chain and that the complaints coming in are from all over the United States.

Flowers by Nora has received numerous negative reviews with customers frequently citing issues related to delivery, product quality and misleading practices. On TrustPilot alone, there are 362 reviews with a feedback average of 1.2

The order that I placed (an 8 inch Comfort Planter Premium CP2 for $110 and fees for $136.69) was delivered on Dec 12, 2025. My receiving friend sent a picture of her and the plant to me on the same day. The plant she received was NOT like the picture I ordered from their website. I have a picture of both plants and there is no comparison.

On Dec 12, 2025, I immediately called Flowers by Nora to complain about the product they delivered and that I expected that the plant that I DID order would be delivered to my friend.
I have a picture of the plant (on the left) Flowers by Nora delivered and on right is the picture of the plant I ordered. No Comparison, but I am unable to include the picture in my critique here.

I called 5 or more times. Sent at least 6 emails. I have corresponded with a Geraldine and a Valery Smith at their flowersbynora website …. SERVICE what a joke. They charged me $136.69 for that cheap plant and they have refunded me back $40. Where is the remaining $96.69. I did not order the plant on the left! And, I don’t expect to pay for something that a did not order.
 
I have processed a complaint with my credit card company Chase Bank. And, have supplied them with all the information about this fraudulent company ripping off unsuspecting customers.

If you Google search (thank you Google) for Flowers by Nora you will be able to read about all of the complaints that have been swindled, like I have. Please do not do business with Flowers by Nora.
Again, the plant was delivered on Dec 12th, 2025. I immediately got in touch with Flowers by Nora to complain about the delivery. It is Jan 2, 2026, and this is still an outstanding unresolved complaint.

The overall feedback on the web is predominantly negative with many customers advising (like myself) to AVOID using their services. I join in on the complaints about poor product quality and misleading information they advertise on their website as their communication vehicle to their customers.

Flowers by Nora should be avoided. Avoid being in the negative, time-consuming situation that I am in.

I’m seriously questioning if they actually exist as a business. I ordered flowers the Friday before Christmas to be delivered Monday. Saturday, received an email canceling my order because flowers weren’t available. At this point, I’m not yet suspicious of them, so I call and choose something different. Spend another 15 minutes with address, phone, credit card, message…
Long story short, flowers were never delivered. Still trying to get a refund!
Added 12/31- I have received a refund.

I ordered flowers for a funeral. I attended the service and was embarrassed once I saw what was delivered. The picture on the.website and the actual arrangement that was delivered was not even close to looking the same. I emailed Flowersbynora with my dissatisfaction and pictures of the arrangement and was told that they reviewed the pictures and said that with their substitute policy the order was filled correctly. Not sure what they substituted with because the arrangement was not full of flowers, more greenery than anything. I’ve contacted my credit card company and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I ordered a floral arrangement from Ruth's Roses for a dear friend's mother's funeral service. The Ruth Roses' sales person assured me that the flowers would be delivered promptly prior to the service and I would receive a delivery confirmation. The service began. There were no flowers delivered and no confirmation emailed. I called and was told that they had cancelled all orders that day. I asked, "Why was I not notified?' They had no response! I was devastated! They showed no compassion for not following through on their commitment! I would not advise anyone to use these incompetent and unfeeling bozos!!!

SCAM company. So sorry I didn’t see these reviews sooner.

The order was never delivered. I received no confirmation, and when I called, I was told it was left at a front desk that doesn’t exist and after the building was already closed. They only offered to “look into it” with no immediate resolution. I’ve decided to dispute the charge with my credit card.

Posing as local florist,wouldn't even rate them a 1 star . Was supposed to be free delivery, wasn't same flowers I ordered, delivered next day and also didn't arrive with the extra 12.99$ teddy bear.

Spent half hour on phone with agent to finish and get a surprise service fee of $18.00 on top of the price of the order. This surprise fee is not mentioned at all on their website. Like why offer free shipping, if you’re going to add this charge later on ?

If I could rate Flowers By Nora less than 1 I’d give it a negative 10. I ordered 2 Christmas bouquets on December 1st to be delivered on December 20th thinking this is plenty of time to get exactly what I ordered. The bouquets were both the same titled “Spread The Holiday Cheer”. Instead of getting the beautiful bouquets advertised, my recipients got the Charlie Brown tree of flower bouquets. I began the process of complaining via text to which I was offered a $25 refund on one bouquet. I received another email citing their so called policy regarding changes. I explained that this was not small adjustments to the arrangement. It was a complete and totally in adequate substitution for what I ordered. I requested a full refund and plan to report this company along with others to my state’s attorney general to see if an investigation of the flower delivery industry can begin. It is a bait and switch scam and in many cases they report delivery when flowers are not delivered. This industry must be ripe for fraud.

We chose this florist because their web site leads with the words " same day delivery available."

Believing this, we ordered and paid for flowers at 10:30 AM to be delivered by 5:00 PM to a local theatre for our friend who is starring in a Christmas musical production.

At 2:00 PM we received an email from Flowers by Nora saying they can't deliver the flowers until Monday!

This is not acceptable. We canceled the order and demanded a full refund.

Do not order flowers from these liars.
