Arrangement was delivered a day late and not even standard quality....embarrassing to spend $85 on gas station flowers.

Scammed! Not legit!!! Received email after paying $150 for delivery that the arrangement was not available. When are roses not available?! I called and was told a transportation issue was the reason order was canceled. When asked about why she hung up.
I hope people learn to read reviews before ordering - should be reported as FRAUD!

Flowers by Nora completely failed us at the worst possible moment. We placed and received confirmation for funeral flowers, including delivery time and location (Myrtle Beach, SC). Despite this, we were notified by email only — after the funeral had already started — that the order could not be fulfilled due to a “supply issue.”
There was no phone call, no attempt to substitute, and no advance warning. When we called to ask what happened, they offered to send a different arrangement — but the funeral was already over.
Because of their lack of communication and accountability, no flowers from us were present at the service, and we now have the painful task of explaining this to grieving friends. This situation required urgency and compassion, and Flowers by Nora showed neither. We will never use or recommend this florist.

Subsequently, I’ve done research about this company and it appears to be a total SCAM. They advertise as being a local florist but they are NOT!!
   

Total scam. Advertised as a local shop. I placed the order over two weeks in advance of the delivery date. When I called the recipient, they said they had not arrived. When I called the phone number given, it was obviously a call center. They told me they would definitely be delivered. By 5:30, they still had not been delivered. I called back. First person hung up on me, when I told them I wanted to find out exactly what had happened. Second person said they'd be delivered tomorrow, sometime, then hung up. Third person offered me $5 for the trouble. The order was over $100. I finally told them I wanted to cancel the order and get a full refund. I said I wanted an email stating that they would be refunding. Of course, no email. Next stop, disputing the charge with my credit card company.

The delivered the funeral arrangements to the WRONG ADDRESS and then refused to refund. My heart is broken that we spent hundreds of dollars to not have flowers at the service.

I received a text that my flowers by Nora that were supposed to be delivered to a funeral TODAY as been canceled, WTF? Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE..

This so-called "company" is a total SCAM. They are not at all legit, there is no customer service, all emails are auto-generated, live people either hang up or can't assist, assure you they are doing the best they can which is nothing. Why are they even allowed to remain in business???

On December 10, 2025, I ordered a birthday bouquet of flowers for my wife or approximately $75.00. Included in the fee was a service charge of $19.00. The reason I am sending in this complaint is that the flowers did not get delivered until 7:00 pm at night. At 4:00 pm, I called to the flowersbynora representative to inquire about when the flowers were to be delivered. She indicated that the flowers would be delivered by 5:00 pm. I was hoping they would be delivered earlier. I asked the representative if they could contact the driver to find out if they could deliver them earlier b/c my wife was leaving her home in Reno to drive back to Vegas. I told the flowersbynora representative that if they could not get the flowers delivered by 6:00 pm, that they do not need to deliver them. She stated that she tried calling the driver a couple of times, but could not get a hold of him and indicated that she would leave a message by text. Then she indicated that she would text me/email me if the flowers were delivered on time. None of these things happened. The flowers were supposedly delivered around 7:00 pm to an empty house when they were told no one would be home.(They had more than enough time to rectify this situation) In addition, they didn't follow through with an email/text letting me the flowers had been delivered. It was very disappointing that I spent $75.00 on flowers that were dropped off at a house with no one at home. The next day when I called, the flowersbynora representative basically indicated that she was sorry and there was nothing that they cold do to rectify the situation. I hope the place goes out of business. Its an awful business. Absolutely no customer service.

They delivered a bunch of cheap flowers and a tiny box of chocolates. Cost with service fees was $80. I could have bought them at the grocery store forc$12. What a rip off!

Nothing was delivered. They sent no confirmation at all and when I called to check, they said the flowers were left with the front desk at 6 pm. The building doesn't have a front desk and is closed at 5:30 pm with no one there. They offered to "investigate" and said I would know more in a week or so. I'm just disputing this with my credit card.

This place is AWFUL! I wish I had read reviews of it before. They are obviously bad. No customer service.

I live in Illinois and ordered from a “local” florist, Flowers by Nora in Fayetteville,NC. I ordered the deluxe 8’planter for over $100. When my friend sent me the thank you pic …I was horrified. This looks like something you would buy at a garden store for $25. There is no pot or ribbon or proper wrapping paper/dressing. This was listed under the Sympathy section… I can’t believe this company would take advantage of people under these circumstances.The plant was to be delivered on Saturday, Dec. 6 …it did not arrive until Dec. 8th. Totally disappointed!

I don't want to give any stars. Not local. Not what I ordered. At all! Flowers were not fresh.
I have sent pictures to their customer service. Update: I received a refund for the flowers.

I would rate a zero if possible.I live out of state, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for a family member in Panama City Beach, Fl.
The young lady who took the order over the phone kept giggling when I asked her to repeat what she said ( her accent was difficult to understand).This happened numerous times. After I hung up, she called back saying I gave her a bad credit card number. I requested she repeat the number back to me and it was correct. I requested her to run it again. It went through. My thoughts she incorrectly entered the numbers which is no big deal.
The next day, December 3, I spoke to the person it was to be delivered to. No delivery.
I called Nona’s back and Mae told me the order had been cancelled and I should have had a email telling me the order was cancelled. I didn’t receive one, not in my inbox or spam. Mae would not give me an explanation until I repeatedly asked the reason. She then said a wheel broke off their delivery truck vehicle and I was credited back the money. As I was speaking to her I looked up the CC account there was no credit back. At this time I advised I was filing a fraud charge with our CC company and filing with the BBB. Within an hour the credit showed up on my account.

I would give this a -10 if I could. Delivery was almost 2 hours late and looked nothing like the picture they kept telling me it would look just like. I think this is a scam. Stay away. My credit card company is taking it from here.

DON'T WALK, RUN FROM FLOWERS BY NORA. Wish ZERO stars was an option. Wish I read all these negative reviews before choosing Flowers By Nora! I was extremely EMBARASSED by the arrangement that was delivered. It was NOT AT ALL like what I ordered, and it was 99% greenery, which was substituted for a large number of flowers and that is NOT in line with their Substitution Policy. A small "credit" was provided when I complained, leaving the remaining cost still FAR MORE than what was delivered. I was so embarrassed, this was supposed to be a table centerpiece on a grand table for Thanksgiving sent to family having the holiday meal in a historic mansion....instead of the beautiful appropriate centerpiece I ordered and paid for, what was sent looked like something you put in your bathroom on the back of your toilet. AWFUL.

I ordered an arrangement for $89.60 on 11/17/2025 to be delivered the following day. When it arrived, I was shocked by how terrible it looked. It was nothing like the arrangement pictured on the website. It was much smaller, filled with low-quality substitutions, and missing tulips entirely (the recipient’s favorite, and the whole reason I chose that arrangement).

Appalled by the money I spent, I contacted customer service and provided photos showing the obvious discrepancies, requesting a full refund. Instead, they issued only a $30 refund and cited their “terms and conditions.” What they failed to acknowledge, however, is that they did not follow their own policy.

On their website flowersbynora/terms, Section VI. Substitution Policies states:
1. If a floral container or vase is not available, a similar container will be substituted.
2. Flower arrangements and assorted flowers, if some flowers are not available, we will substitute other kinds of flowers at equal or greater value.

Neither of these guidelines were followed. The vase was replaced with a smaller mason jar, and the flower substitutions were of significantly lower quality and value.

I am extremely disappointed in how this company handled the situation. I hope others read this before ordering so they can avoid the frustration I experienced.

I would give zero stars if I could! I ordered flowers for my MIL’s funeral. I was guaranteed an 11am delivery as the viewing was from 11:30 to 12:30. The flowers NEVER arrived. Calling/emailing resulted in the same “we are investigating” baloney. I was duped into thinking they were located in Millersville, PA by their advertising. They are from REDBANK NJ!! Thankfully I used a credit card and not a debit card to pay for the purchase and was able to get my money back. They are scam artists!!!

I ordered a Blooming Garden Basket for a elderly lady who just lost her son to cancer. I wanted something she could care for with little care. She received a clear globe with water and some weird flowers in it, it was left on the porch tripped over with most of the water spilled out. Took a week before I got a response of we are giving you a $50 credit on your $125 order

The plant they sent had fruit flies in it and infested our house. Do not buy.
