I ordered a fairly large top, for an island that I’m fitting. Roughly 8’x4’ with dressed edges, rounded corners and cut outs for hob, sink and tap. All fitted like a glove - couldn’t have been any better. Only minor issue was not delivering north of the Central belt - but for the quality, the price and the installation time saved - it was well worth a drive down to Glasgow to pick up.

Really good actually. The worktops arrived as planned on the day they said they’d deliver, they’re gorgeous and really robust . The team was helpful too when I called them .

Quick and helpful delivery, worktop looks great used it to create my sons desk ( he likes it too).

Bought compact laminate samples, arrived promptly well packaged has helped me decide

Although I haven’t fitted the worktops yet I’m please with how they look and the quality.
What I’m not so happy with is the delivery, the worktops arrive more than two hours before the most recent time I was given, the worktops were piled up on the floor of the van with at least 6 plus more worktops, they were strapped down but all the worktops were sliding from side to side.
I’m hoping that the surface of my worktops haven’t been scratched, I will only know this when I remove the protective film from the worktops at the time of fitting.

Good company to deal with quality worktops arived on time

Efficient, polite, great product. Will use this company as the free samples, great customer service including when I received wrong sample, very quickly remedied, has been a superior service in comparison to all the large stores.

A very good experience with these guys. Price competitive but what was extraordinary. The worktops were ordered including one that needed edging shaping and oiling. Delivery in 3 working days. I received exactly what I wanted super quick.

I run a joinery and cabinetmaking business in London and have used house of worktops several times. The quality of their worktops had been OK, not great, and the delivery is also a bit shonky. But for these sorts of products the whole point is to be cheap and cheerful.

However, in my last order one of the 3m Beech worktops had popped apart in the middle and is completely unusable. I contacted them and they refused to replace it because I didn’t let them know soon enough - which is outrageous and of course very shortsighted of them as a business.

Plus, it’s not like I’m returning gone off milk after keeping it for a month. Worktops shouldn’t be splitting after any amount of time. House of worktops created tension in it by poor choice and arrangement of the staves. It’s their fault and I paid them for a useless product.

Their suggested solution was that I glue it back together. Brilliant idea! I was going to use duct tape and a few nails. But wait a minute… unfortunately if the original glue did not stop the wood from doing its thing, it makes no sense to think the second go round will be any different. As they say, wood never forgets that it used to be a tree.

Nothing more for them from us ever and I certainly recommend against using them.

If you won’t stand behind your products, you don’t deserve any custom. Simple as that.

My son had an oak work top from you about three years ago and it’s absolutely stunning, so there was no question about it when we do our kitchen that’s what we’d like.
We couldn’t believe the choice on the website and how easy it was to order. Delivery day went perfectly, I admit it is yet to be installed ( I can’t wait ) but it’s another absolutely stunning work top from House of Work tops.
I’d say brilliant from start to finish, excellent company.

Access to our property is an awkward narrow cul de sac and an even narrower back alley. The length of the worktops means they cannot go through the house, so had to be delivered to the back. Your two drivers reversed the van as far as they could get, then very obligingly carried the worktops right to our back yard.

I looked at many different companies selling the compact laminate and ahouse of Worktops came out top on cost and choice of style.
They sent us different samples to see the quality and styles, we went for the Bella Bianche in the end.
It is a wonderful looking marble effect worktop !
The cutting service was very useful, especially for the sink and drain grooves.
Delivery was surprisingly quick, from placing the order to arriving was under a week.
We did have a small damaged section, but they replaced it without any issue and within 2 days…Great customer service !

Ordered through easy process - was sent an email just to check a couple of details - delivered super quick - fantastic no hassle and quality was brilliant - nothing more to say apart from - Thank you
