House of Worktops Reviews

Ordered a compact laminate worktop, which arrived wrapped only in clingfilm with no other packaging or corner protection and it therefore damaged and unusable.

Delivered on the stated day. I was immediately concerned when I saw the delivery van opened and saw my worktop just leaned up inside van, wrapped in only clingfilm!

As the worktop was being carried into my house it was obvious immediately there was damage.

I pointed it out to the delivery driver, who, whilst very polite, was not interested and told me I had to contact the company and it would be collected if damaged.

After they left I inspected the worktop and found each corner chipped, one corner delaminating and deep gouges and layers missing along all edges. It was present all round the worktop on both sides and all edges so trimming damaged material would not have been possible as the finished size would then have been too small.

There followed a frustrating process of trying to have the item collected, it was finally collected over a week later, and a week later from that I am still waiting for the refund.

Good quick delivery of samples and a reasonable size

Ramya - every company should employ ‘a Ramya’ outstanding on every count, knowledge of the product, great advice, courteous, giving help beyond the original question. Absolutely convinced me that ‘House of Worktops’ is the place to get a quality product with exceptional service. In an era when we are all fed up with ‘chat bots’ and people who don’t answer the question this was a refreshing, amazing experience. Thank you - made me smile!

Worktops arrived super fast, great quality and looking as described. Great service as expected.
Minor complaint, please don't deliver at 6am on a Saturday morning! It is not fun :D

As I'm currently looking for Worktops & splashbacks for the new kitchen we're having installed in November. I'd seen this company on social media and found them to be extremely competitive but not only that...they were the only company providing a selection of three samples for the cost of £5...everywhere else I'd looked their samples were £5 per one sample...which soon adds up, if your unsure what you are looking for!
Anyways, I selected my three samples from House of Worktops and they arrived within two days, packed very well in a display box.
All I can say is their quality of product is excellent, the samples they sent were of the actual product and was a good size, enabling me to see the vision of my worktops for my new kitchen.
I've found House of Worktops to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable plus they provide a great service...and one of the things I particularly like is...there's been no pressure to purchase from them; I haven't been bombarded with emails & adverts since I purchased the samples pack.
I'd definitely recommend this company and because they are one of a very few that have the style of compact laminate worktop I want...I'll definitely be placing my order with them.

I hadn’t had any updates on my delivery and had somehow lost my original order number but Arun was very helpful and found my order for me and told me that it will be delivered on 07-09-2026

House of worktops answered the phone, I was able to talk to a person who gave me answers. I ordered on line and it came on the day they said it would

After initial hiccup with order, HoW customer service promptly resolved and oak shelf product received and is great quality. Very good follow up customer service. 👍🏻

I was looking for an oak worktop, and came across this company online. Checked out the website which was so easy to view.
Loved the ability to detail the optional extra’s on a technical sheet which allowed me to specify unique requirements.
Communications from the company were fantastic and the product was delivered as expected.
The worktop is fantastic and has made a real difference in the room.
Very impressed and would recommend to anyone.
