The technical help assistant knew exactly what I was doing wrong and he helped me through some steps to ensure I wasn't able to do it again, after he made sure all was ok with my accounts program and data file.

Professional Service
I had issues that I could not correct myself. The amazing, Shabnam, went through my problems and helped me more to understand my "Hosted" Account. I now am confident to work this Program properly, as most of the issues were related to my untrained inputs. Quick, efficient, knowlegeable and very well spoken. I am old school, so her patience was needed and appreciated.

AVOID
Sent support request on 2nd July for a fault in Reckon hosted inventory adjust.
Sent second follow-up email on the 7th July after not hearing anything from Reckon, and still no reply.
And now on the 15th July, nearly 2 weeks from my first contact, I still haven't had any communications from Reckon.
Do yourself a favour and go with just about any other accounting package, Xero, MYOB, you name it, save yourself the grief and DON'T use Reckon.
I know I'll get the standard reply to this review from Reckon, but I can assure you they don't do what they say they are going to.

Avoid Reckon Payroll. Dreadful Service Trying to add Fringe Benefits for year…
Trying to add Fringe Benefits for year end and there's a glitch with the software and it won't let me have access. I lodged a ticket June 16th and Ive phoned them every business dayy for 8 consecutive days. Im told everytime that its been escalated and I'll get an update by cob. No updates no action no resolution and I need to finalise my annual stp.
Call centre staff are hard to understand and their VoIP connection cuts out all the time.
Avoid this company. Terrible Service and glitches software.

After my review Reckon fixed the problem after I wasted many hours to phone support. Still very unhappy

The unfortunate reality is, there are no quick fixes when it comes to technical investigations of this nature. It requires careful analysis and development resources to not only identify the underlying cause but also ensure any fix doesn’t cause broader issues.

Reckon and its technical staff have been exceptional in every aspect of their work in finding a way to transfer the data from a very old QuickBooks version from my old Dell computer which has just started to "die" after 30 years. I applaud them on their patience, their technical know how and staying in communication with me as I'm in Sydney Australia and they are elsewhere around the globe. I was privileged to witness on my screen their lady techo who just wizzed around the corridors of the software making it "sing" and getting results. Thank you to those who have got me this far. I understand that the transfer of the legacy data (even though I just reconciled all the accounts @ 31st May 2025) will be addressed on Monday 16th June 2025. Again, thank you Team.
