I called Ruth Roses I spoke to a sales lady I want a certain basket for my mother, so my mother received the basket it was not what I expected it was a totally different the what I ordered there was a stupid ugly bow on it which wasnt supposed to be there i was supposed to ger a white basket and it was a dul brown looking basket that was so tacky .some of the flowers already wilting its only been 3 days it wasnt well put together. I email the company they made all all kinds exuses I would thought they care more about the quality which was totally lacking it's sad they only care about money ,would they send poor quality of flowers to the mothers be careful when ordering

This company is a complete scam, they may not even be in the US other than some locations they have listed which may or may not be legit. I would have given NEGATIVE 5 stars if possible. I ordered almost $600 for 3 arrangements for a celebration of life ceremony on Wednesday, the service was the following Monday. They immediately charged my credit card and the money went out of my account. Saturday afternoon before the ceremony an email was sent saying they had "supply" issues and were refunding my money. No call/text or anything to actually speak with me to allow me time to make other arrangements if possible. I did not see the email until Sunday morning. After we placed the order we asked for the local florist contact info so that we could coordinate the drop off and answer any questions they had. The service was being held at a community center within a City Hall building. They told us they could not provide that information and to instead coordinate through them. The representatives we spoke to, were very hard to understand and English was not their first language. STAY AWAY FROM THESE UNETHICAL HACKS!!!!

Full 100% scam. Ruth's Rose's pretends to be a family owned buisness in Fort Collins, CO. I specifically picked this florist and called in the order so it could be customized for my daughter who had surgery. I guess I should be happy because she did recieve flowers along with my note but it was a completely different arrangement. At least they got the "cat safe" flower part correct.
I called to find out what happened and was told I needed to email them. This is when I started sensing there was no actual family owned store. The response to my email was an offer of a $15 refund (keeping in mind there was an $18.99 service fee!) and an attached policy stating that they're not responsible if the flowers ordered are not available.
This is why I called. This is why I went with what I thought was a genuine family owned local buisness. I felt I was also helping by USING a family owned small buisness. I'm 1000 miles away from my daughter and feel I let her down with these flowers. At least something arrived.

Scam company. My wife ordered flowers for our aunts funeral 3 days ahead. They talked her into an upgrade which we chose. The flowers arrived after the viewing and looked nothing like the picture. Not even like the one before the upgrade. We tried to get a refund but they wouldn’t help. Do not use this company. So embarrassing for my family to see such an ugly arrangement come late.

**I do not recommend Ruth’s Roses.** I clearly explained that the delivery was going to an elementary school and that the doors close at 3:00 PM. I spoke with the company *twice* and was assured they were on their way. Despite this, the flowers were delivered close to 5:00 PM and left with the custodian.
When I called to complain, the woman I spoke with was extremely rude. Her response was, *“Well, they got there,”* and she hung up on me.
To make matters worse, when the recipient finally received the flowers the next day, they looked **nothing like what was ordered**. We specifically requested the card be sealed in an envelope, it was not. Instead, the message was written on a hot pink index card, which looked completely unprofessional and inappropriate.
Between the late delivery, poor customer service, and the low-quality presentation, this was a very disappointing experience.

I actually rate zero for this company. I am in FL my daughter is in MD. She had her 1st baby last night, my 1st grandbaby. I called them to order an arrangement to be delivered to her today. I paces the order at 8am.. At 3pm inreveoved an email.. Not a call,an email letting me know my order was canceled due to supply issues. Like WTF!!??? I called them and asked them why they did not call me to offer me another arrangement for same cost. I was told they only send emails. WTF??!! Now that money is tied up and I am unable to order another arrangement for her from another florist. You only have your 1st child once and you only become a grandmother for the 1st time once. Thanks for ruining the moment for us.

I ordered a sympathy arrangement for my family following the death of a loved one. The product was explicitly labeled a “Remembrance” bouquet and clearly intended for a funeral.
What was delivered was not only incorrect, but profoundly inappropriate: the flowers arrived in a container with a “congratulations” message, received by my family on the day of the funeral. I cannot overstate how upsetting and distressing this was.
I immediately contacted Ruth’s Roses, provided photos, and clearly explained the harm caused. Despite acknowledging the issue, the company refused to issue a full refund, offering less than 50% back for what was an egregious error. After multiple calm, professional follow-ups, they ultimately stopped responding altogether.
This was not a matter of personal taste or minor disappointment — it was a fundamental failure to deliver a product appropriate for its stated purpose, during a moment of grief. The lack of accountability afterward made the experience even worse.
I strongly caution anyone considering this company, especially for sympathy or funeral arrangements. This experience was deeply upsetting, and the company did not stand behind its service when it mattered most.

These orders were sent to two different flower shops. My order was delivered well after the service started and was left unseen at the back of the chapel . The 'proof of
delivery" picture I was sent was not even close to what I ordered. Later the same day I got a message saying that my order could not be filled and was canceled due to supply issues. The arrangement my sister ordered was never delivered! DO BUSINESS WITH RUTH'S ROSES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Complete scam! I wish i had seen these reviews before I placed an order for an arrangement. They must be some kind of scam operation. Absolutely ridiculous that they would take orders and then say that they can't fulfill them. I am questioning whether this florist even exists. Not a local florist - although advertised as a family business
Started an order with Ruth's and it first showed a price for an arrangement when in reality the arrangement was much smaller. Then once I entered the payment information, it added 18 more dollars as a service change. I never submitted the order because it much more expensive and much smaller than advertised. This is an online florist not local florist and presents itself as a local.

I ordered an arrangement from their website. What was received wasn't even close. Small little arrangement with half of the flowers it was supposed to have. For $110.00 I expected it to at least look similar to the picture. I don't recommend this florist and will not ever use them again. What a rip off!

From the start, I gave a date for delivery, it was a day early, when I called, they said that they hadn't went out as of yet
So there was no communication with them between the Flores and the sales person
The second thing was, I picked what I wanted and when they was delivered, was nothing like what I ordered
Was told that it may look different after I called about it

After showing them photos and everything, only was refunded 25 dollars out of 140 dollars
