On the day there was no air filter. I paid the AA to do the job. But the following day I had to take it to the garage myself. Sit there an hour to be told that they still couldn’t put a filter in. But they would come to me. I stayed in all day waiting no filter. Waited two more days and at long last a filter was fitted at home. Meantime I had my bill from AA saying job complete. Nobody from the AA at anytime contacted me to find out what was happening about the air filter. So I’d tell anybody that wants to know that the AA did not take the worry off my shoulders and I still had to take my car to the garage. The whole point of paying extra was so that I could stay at home with my disabled daughter and not have to leave her alone. Would I use this service again definitely NOT. Just a total waste of my money.

The service was generally good and quick to respond. There just some confusion when communication was direct with the garage.

The service was perfect but the communication between me and the booking agent wasn’t good. They didn’t inform me that the mechanic wasn’t coming the exact time I booked.

The AA approved garage did the MOT, major service, replaced front brake discs and pads and replaced the front tyres. The garage did good work at a reasonable price. Unfortunately AA Smart Care did not invoice the quoted amount for the work on the brakes. However I was able to call and get the problem rectified. A refund will be issued.

Super friendly service, brake pads and disc done in about 1 hour, quick and efficient.

Easy to organise, less clear on the day as to the lines of communication

Forgot to return car until chased and returned at 9.30pm. No checklist provided of work done. Didn’t reset service requied indicator light. Didn’t fix air conditioning as requested.

Very polite and professional staff, waiting area available, fairly easy process.

The first time used this service and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get their car serviced.

Although mechanic was delayed i was advised when he was on his way. Work still completed in specified time. He did suggest that I didn't need all brakes replacing but decided to get all of them replaced. All ok now at a great price. Very pleased.

I had a very friendly welcome and my booking was immediatelyconfirmed , key taken and advised I would be called when my vehicle was ready for collection. I was also informed they were having problems with the MOT system being slow and the MOT might take a little longer. When my vehicle was ready, I received a phone call confirming it. Excellent service at a good price.

I had my car serviced and MOT completed. The service received was excellent, collected from my door, with the work completed and dropped back off within a few hours. Will definitely do this again

AASmartcare attended the home twice and on each occasion brought the wrong starter motor. They also cancelled an appointment saying they couldn't take the pre payment. This was a lie and the truth emerged that they were in fact struggling to get the part - and this was between the first and second mechanic. In the end, our original damaged starter motor had to be put back in and the fault was identified to be the flywheel and the starter motor. However, we were still charged the full amount as 'job done'. We were shocked that the company took an automated payment anyway. We have had to apply for a refund (which they have granted) but now they are requesting our bank details to be passed on to a third party, so clearly they 'can't' make changes with the automated payment system. We were so disappointed. It's a real shame as the two stars are for the two mechanics who were polite, friendly, and helpful and one of them even creatively 'fashioned a fix' to help us get the car started. Sadly, the only place the car will be going is the scrap!

I was very pleased with the ease of booking the MOT, oil change etc and the pricing was very competitive. The overall service was very good, except for one thing. The car was fetched well outside of the given time-frame and I was told it was because the AA computer doesn’t communicate with the garage’s, so that needs to change.

The MOT itself was quick and painless... finding a used coffee cup dicarded in the pssenger footwell was not so good.
One day after the MOT, I received a phone call asking if my car was still with them.. two days after the MOT I received an email to notify me that my car was ready for collection!

The service on my car was perfect he was done in no time
