Well, initially you got the booking mixed up so it didn't happen on the agreed date- a problem if you stayed home from work- fortunately my wife was available to deal with it.
When the work was finally done the week after, I note that a screw in the brake plate was broken (sheared) off - but the mechanic reassured my wife it was not unsafe(?) to drive.
I like the idea of work being carried out at home so I don't have to do anything like transport the car to a garage, but I'm thinking now it might be better, if this kind of thing occurs- there might then be greater accountability when a nut is sheared off etc.

Mobile mechanic was great but the appointment was late which wasn’t the mechanics fault. A phone call to let me know would have courtesies

Garage added a note to booking explaining it couldn’t be booked in on the date selected. I was unaware of this as I received emails and texts confirming the booking. Emails confirmed a different time to text messages which was confusing. When I took the car to the garage on the day, I was told it couldn’t be done. The garage had to keep my car for 2 days to complete the MOT. The garage was great. The booking experience through AA was not.

Good honest and reliable service.

The dealer you referred me to did not replace my break pads with new ones - see MOT and car health report. I complained to AA and it is still pending. Phoning them up does not help......

Excellent communication from supplier. Brilliantly planned and arranged with everything ready to go earlier than initially set out. Gay turn around and incredibly thorough with great follow up. Shall return!

Got sent a note saying the garage had "recommened" a bulb change at £25, which of course i declined.

When i got to the garage they said the bulb was a MOT failure, so not a recommendation, a must & was £10.

They where shocked to hear to coms i got from the AA.

As they had already completed the work & passed the MOT, i paid them direct.

Awful experience van went for mot and it took 8 days to fix a few bulbs and a mirror awful service customer service was terrible she had no idea what was going on and I don’t think she knew her arse from her elbow
